Fullstory is super easy to use, it offers real time data which is super beneficial for the industry I work in, and the fact that we can see where users get stuck via recordings in real time as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not only do you get full video playback of what users do with all the searching and filtering tools you would want, but you also get a full suite of query tools to roll up that qual data into quantitative dashboards to see system health at a glance. It's become a core part of our business, and certainly our design and product function, mainly because of how easy it is to use (no easy feat given its complexity); getting the team to adopt it has been a cinch.
What's most impressive though is how fast it is while being so powerful. editing queries is easy because you can see results update in real time as you zero in on what you're looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not a lot honestly. If pressed, I would say that as we get into the more advanced functionality, fullstory does ask you to put in the work to configure it. while it has a lot of tools to make this clear, giving fullstory an understanding of your site map and relevant company specific metadata is key. Deceptive and punitive pricing and billing structures.
- FS has a clause burried in their terms saying that they require 60 day notice ahead of a renewal to cancel an auto-renewal. This is not publicized anywhere, nor something they gave notice for. When we wanted to cancel auto-renewal they blandly refused our request, and just pointed to this obscure term.
- Also they are now prohibitively expensive with extremely high minimums especially for small startup teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their customer service is fantastic - the team we work with is responsive, thorough, organized and a pleasure to work with. Rather than nickel and diming us for every minute of service hours spent, they are actually flexible and work with us like partners, understanding that project volume ebbs and flows in our business. They are also very welcoming about product feedback, and actually add my feedback to the roadmap so we're constantly seeing improvements on things we directly suggested! Gives great, granular insights on user behaviour on your website. They have good training modules for introductory skills. Helpful customer support team who's happy to answer questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A bit difficult to level up beyond the introductory level. The training modules cover the basics and they've recently started a community space, but there's not a ton on it yet. Please note this is an incentivized review, probably because I answered a question within FullStory asking 1-10 would I recommend, and I said 10 and meant it! So they sent me a link to g2. I know there are other similar products out there, and I'm a bit lost with their windows and screens, but the basic functionality that I've been using so far to monitor the launch of a new event registration system is just totally invaluable. It's like running a complete user study and so far for free. We are made significant improvements to the system that we wouldn't have thought of otherwise as we watch people struggling with our own stupid designs. Do the world a favor and use FullStory! FullStory offers such a unique way to interpret user engagement and interaction data to understand your end-users better. Using metrics like rage clicks and dead clicks, we can uncover where our product is breaking down, as well as when users are becoming most frustrated. While the FullStory CSS selectors are pretty extensive, I wish I had a bit more control over which elements are or are not selected. While part of this issue can be resolved within our app's source code, it would be more helpful to be able to use advanced selectors that are currently unsupported.
