Webhook Integrations - Subscribers can set up their own Webhook integrations to connect with any channel they like and receive regular updates. 7. Follow an Incident: Your end users have the option to follow a particular Incident or Scheduled Maintenance of the service that affects them the most. 8. Dynamic Date and Time : Status page will now show Date and Time based on the user’s Browser settings. So far still learning, but i like that I can basically mirror my venders status page in one location as well as present the data in a way that shows when they are working we are, and when they go down, we go down, its a team effort, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

That when a ticket comes into our ticket system, this shows me other companies are having the issue and that I also can post that so it can group tickets that it is being worked on so i do not dig into our tickets since the incident is on the vendor's side and they are working on a fix. What do you like best about Freshstatus by Freshworks?

We've just recently started using Freshstatus but it is incredibly easy to configure. Changing the status of a service is fast and easy. I'm excited about the integration with Freshping, so some of our mission critical services can have their status updated automatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freshstatus by Freshworks?

I've noticed that with the Freshping integration it sometimes takes quite awhile to update the status of a service that is down, I would like to see those updates occur much faster. Since Freshping can check the status of services every 1 or 5 minutes, I think it would be acceptable for Freshstatus to pick up the service availability after 2 checks. So, if the service is being checked every minute, after 2 minutes of failed checks the status could be updated, or if set to 5 minutes, then the service status is updated in Freshstatus after 10 minutes. Or, perhaps it could be configurable by the user.

I would also like to see the ability to embed Freshstatus content on our website and maybe the ability to embed only a portion of it. At this point, the functionality doesn't exist, but my understanding is that it is coming soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Freshstatus by Freshworks:

Look into the paid subscription option, if at all possible. It seems to be rather well priced and the product is very easy to implement and maintain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Freshstatus by Freshworks solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are currently only using it internally to notify the technology support related departments, but we would like to embed it on our IT website to keep students, staff, and faculty informed of outages and upcoming maintenance. I am part of a small IT Department and often when a service is down I may be the one working to resolve the problem or contact the vendor, while simultaneously updating code on our website to post the alert. Even without the Freshping integration, the ability to login and quickly change the status of a service would save an incredible amount of time that could be better spend resolving the problem. What do you like best about Freshstatus by Freshworks?

Hello,

I've been using this service for about 3 months and it's really amazing.

firstly almost all is free unlike competitors of the same style.

Secondly the site and the interface is really easy to use and there are a lot of functions, like the complete customization of your page or even using a custom domain. Your users can subscribe to a kind of newsletters and receive an email when one of your services is offline. You can also tweet all your outages directly by just clicking a button. I could say so many other things but I'll stop there.
