Our agency went from pen to paper in most of our programs to FH. The training for our implementation team as well as for our entire staff made the process much more seamless than expected. The ongoing training and support have been wonderful. The most helpful aspect of Foothold is the services they provide. I was new and my coach Erin is excellent. The training team Natalie and Chris are awesome. The old setup of the system was somewhat hard for the end users and me to navigate through. It was kind of disjointed. I would also like to see a system that takes the users through the workflow and shows when they have completed each step of their workflow to have a complete record. I envision a system that would take them from intake to completion and show them when they have done everything. Ensuring that they have completed every step such as progress notes, referrals, etc.
I love the can reports but am challenged when building other reports that are relevant to our agency's needs. It would be good to simplify the report building process. When an agency is heavily dependent on Data, it would be great to be able to pull accurate reports for the time frame selected. Finding reports I've created is challenging. It takes so many menus to find them I've had to recreate some I've lost. The reporting organization is just messy in general. Additionally, sometimes it is hard to navigate out of a sub-screen back to a previous screen without going back through a screen you've just filled in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This system is easy to use, it provides us with tools that help staff document services more efficiently and accurately, it provides us with a configurable solution for each of the programs, including connecting all the specialists involved in the care of their clients, including laboratories, pharmacies and collaborators. Although it is software that is easy to use and beneficial, it has a very high price and is not accessible to small organizations that are in development, it does not contain a free version or free trial. 1. We have realized greater efficiencies with data collection for the use of analytics and reporting for current needs internal and external to the agency but also in preparation for changes in the service system and greater need for quantitative demonstrations of successful program and service delivery. We have greater flexibility for documentation of service provision as it can be completed from multiple locations on an agency computer. We have utilized AWARDS for a portion of our billing.
2. I appreciate the ease of use with AWARDS, it has kept up with the changes in regulatory systems over our years of using the software. We have been able to create forms that meet our specific needs or preferences. The system has online support, is linked to reference materials for medications and is evolving to add new services. All of our employees use the system, support departments, facilities and IT, OPWDD, OMH, PROS and OASAS programs. The report module has assisted our Directors to collect data for data-driven programmatic decisions and is especially helpful.
3. All of our programs have transitioned to or are in the process of transitioning to Plans and Reviews from the Service Plans. The Plans and Reviews provide an opportunity to modify the forms, layout, look and sections so that it works for several regulatory agencies. It is easy to make these adjustments and the final product is much easier to complete compared to the earlier Service Plan process. We have also recently adjusted the OASAS Comprehensive Assessment and are very pleased with the results and efficiencies have the form built into the admission process. I would like to be able to sort messages for incident report-related messages. I still have to sort through them to read Alerts, but don't read the minor incident updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We like the flexibility of the system, customizable reports and exports to fit a wide variety of needs and allow access to nearly all data fields. We love the ability to create billing rules to satisfy various payer and state requirements to streamline the billing operation for our staff. We also enjoy the ease to write group notes on multiple participants at the same time without having to jump in and out of various screens to do so. We also rely on the various residential aspects of the system which help to run our residential programs, keep track of vacancies, allow reporting on occupancy levels, and more. A dated interface still exists on some screens, but that is slowly changing to a more modern interface. A more modern dashboard interface would be nice to quickly view unsigned notes, due plans, etc. by therapists as soon as they log in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
