Fingerprint helps us stop users allowing others to log in as them and it is very accurate at what it does. Using their Cloudflare integrations makes it super simple to deploy and is very effective at stopping as blockers from blocking it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, there is no real downside. If you need to protect your data and users from fraudulent behaviour then it's hard to look past fingerprint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I recently used fingerprint, a digital fingerprint platform designed to assess the fraud level of users. From the moment I accessed the site, I was impressed by its sleek and intuitive interface. The process of generating a unique digital fingerprint was straightforward, and within moments, I had a comprehensive assessment of the user’s fraud risk level. We have observed for some time that in some cases the fingerprint is not generated, in that we get a null, but in which case it happens, how the user is bypassing the security, we are also trying to understand this and for this we will also talk to the customer support of the fingerprint. The best thing about Fingerprint is definetly the ease of setup, it's literally just a few lines of code and it does everything for us, from identifying each visitor with consistency to bot detection. Our primary purpose to use Fingerprint was to prevent data scraping and fingerprint is doing a fantastic job for this.
The support from fingerprint is on top, they regularly email you regarding optimisations and SDK upgrades which is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no downside as such it's just that the pricing is a little too high, for startups/companies that can afford it, this is the best solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Getting a unique fingerprint per browser that is relatively stable and stays stable even in Incognito mode and when using a VPN.
In addition to this, you can validate the fingerprint using an API call to prevent users from sending fake fingerprints.
The fingerprint generated is much higher quality than the free libraries out there. We used to rely on some free libraries but we could never trust them. The paid Fingerprint.com Pro fingerprints are much more reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest issue is that in some cases we're seeing some browsers have very unstable fingeprint, eg changing very frequently (changing every few days).
We wish there was more documentation on this phenomenon, and there was documentation on how to recreate the phenomenon.
There are also plugins out there that claim to prevent fingerprinting. We'd like Fingerprint.com to address these claims in their documentation, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Fingerprint provides so much data that it makes identifying fraud easy. From their smart signals to just the raw data, there is plenty of insights to be had. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fingerprint does not do any "ip" scoring like some comepetitors, but this is not their strength. Would be great to have this included in the the payload though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Fingerprint does an amazing job identifying devices and has been an essential tool to help us prevent fraud and duplicate accounts. They are a must have in the fraud prevention tool box. And unlike many services, they have great documentation making this easy to implement and clear pricing and usage information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not yet run into a problem with Fingerprint or I'd happily report it here. So far so good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The identification service is reliable and impressively accurate. We use both Android and iOS SDKs they are easy to integrate and are regularly updated to meet complaince. We currently use Fingerprint to stop fraudulent activities at an early stage to remove already compromised devices from the system which makes fraud detection accurate and cost-effective. Strong product offering for the pricepoint, and helpful / knowledgeable customer success team -- Emily and Lucas are both excellent, inquiries are responded to promptly and with attention to detail. Product team is also attentive / listens to customer feedback and acts on it.
Fingerprint is at it's best when they go *deep* on particular problems. I love to hear about when they have researchers investigating an aspect/side effect of e.g. jailbroken or remote controlled phones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If it were cheaper, would be able to use it on even more surfaces / deploy more widely.
When Fingerprint goes too broad and doesn't focus as much on depth/quality, e.g. first release of Smart Signals, they end up back in the pool of not-very-useful data bloat. Since the initial launch though, it seems Smart Signals has improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Service with excellent usability and easy integration with our web applications. The 99.5% accuracy in device identification is impressive, allowing effective fraud detection and consistent use of visitor IDs over time. The simplicity of the API call for real-time decisions and device intelligence make the platform a powerful tool for developers and businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main downside is the high price, especially for small businesses and startups. Additionally, the identification of different browsers on a single device as distinct devices can be inconvenient. Needs improvement in ways to identify cross-device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As someone who frequently deals with user data and online transactions, I can confidently say that Fingerprint has become an invaluable asset in our toolkit for detecting fraudulent activity. This platform excels in helping us verify the authenticity of user information, which is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our operations. Fingerprint's advanced algorithms and comprehensive database allow us to efficiently cross-check user details against a vast array of sources. This capability significantly reduces the risk of encountering scams or fake accounts. The intuitive interface and seamless integration with our existing systems mean that we can quickly access and analyze data without any hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall, it's good and accurate. There's nothing to dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've been using Fingerprint JS for about a year now, and we only have great things to say about the product and company.
After evaluating several competitors, we chose Fingerprint JS for their superior accuracy in tracking devices and the additional data provided by Smart Signals, such as VPN and bot detection. Reliability of their API was another big plus.
The API documentation was very clear, making integration and troubleshooting a breeze.
Their success and engineering teams are highly responsive and knowledgeable. They've consistently provided timely and effective solutions to our queries, and have been generally open to having a dialogue on how to improve the product based. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pricing can be on the higher side when compared with some of the other solutions out there.
The accuracy also degrades when dealing with non-US traffice, but the team are aware of this and have been working to close the gap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
