## Fingerprint Reviews
  ### 1. High quality integration making AI Agent traffic visible for us in GA4

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edwin d. | Head of Product, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint helped us solve a very specific challenge: identifying AI agent traffic and making that data available in GA4. Before implementing it, we had no reliable way to distinguish AI-driven visits from regular traffic. By enriching and forwarding this information to our analytics stack, we gained visibility into a growing traffic source that would otherwise go unnoticed. The integration was easy to implement and quickly provided insights that we now use in reporting and analysis.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

The main limitation for us is that the identification capabilities are stronger than the reporting capabilities. Fingerprint provides the data we need, but we still rely on external tools such as GA4 to fully analyze and visualize AI agent traffic. More built-in reporting and monitoring features for AI-related use cases would add significant value.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the challenges we faced was that AI agent traffic was becoming increasingly relevant, but remained largely invisible in traditional analytics platforms. Fingerprint enabled us to reliably identify and classify this traffic, enrich it with additional context, and integrate it into our GA4 reporting. As a result, we can now monitor AI-driven visits separately from human traffic, provide clients with better insights, and make more informed decisions based on a more complete view of website activity.

  ### 2. Scalable Device Intelligence with Strong Visibility Into User Behavior

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Subham B. | Co founder and ceo , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint stood out to us because of how quickly it could be integrated into our existing systems without creating operational friction. The onboarding process was straightforward, and the documentation made it easy for our engineering team to implement the solution efficiently. We were able to start analyzing device activity shortly after deployment, which helped accelerate our evaluation phase.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

While the platform delivers strong device-level insights, it requires some internal configuration to fully align with specific business logic. The raw signals are highly useful, but organizations may need to define their own frameworks for interpreting and acting on them effectively.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint has helped us significantly improve visibility into user behavior and device-level activity. Before implementation, it was more challenging to consistently identify repeat devices or detect unusual interaction patterns across sessions.

Since adopting the platform, we’ve been able to enhance our monitoring capabilities, reduce manual investigation effort, and improve the overall efficiency of our internal review processes. The added intelligence has strengthened our ability to make faster, more confident decisions while maintaining a more secure and reliable user environment.

  ### 3. Fast Integration and Rich Data Insights with Fingerprint

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Delia A. | Data Processor Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

What I like best about Fingerprint is how easy and fast it was to integrate into our system. The implementation was straightforward, allowing us to get up and running very quickly.
Another key advantage is the quality and depth of the data it provides. Compared to other solutions we evaluated, Fingerprint offers a broader and more useful range of information, giving us valuable insights into our users and helping us strengthen our fraud prevention capabilities.
Even though we are still working on integrating additional aspects of the API, the results so far have been very satisfying.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

At this stage, we don’t have any major concerns. As we are still in the process of integrating additional aspects of the API, some features are not fully implemented on our side yet, so we are still exploring the full potential of the solution.
In some cases, it would be helpful to have even more documentation or examples for advanced use cases, especially when working with more complex integrations.
That said, our overall experience so far has been very positive, and we expect to get even more value as we continue expanding the integration.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint is helping us solve the challenge of reliably identifying users when traditional methods like cookies just aren’t enough.
It allows us to recognise when the same device is being used, even if cookies are cleared or users switch to incognito mode. This makes it much easier to spot things like duplicate accounts or suspicious activity.
For us, the main benefit is having better visibility into our users and being able to strengthen our fraud prevention without adding extra friction to the user experience.

  ### 4. Easy SDK Integration, Fast Low-Latency API Calls, and Clear Documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akash D. | Assistant Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I used the fingerprint, so first the setup of the environment is simple and easy to use dashboard and navigation bar. Its developer SDK is very easy to integrate, and it presents in various language supports like JavaScript, React, and more. It has very low latency while we try to do API calls, even for high traffic applications, the response is quite fast. Its pricing plans are attractive, as it starts from free for exploring API & for basic identification. Fingerprint provides very good support with it's clear and precise documentation, which guides on step by step for complete process. It also has AI features, which help in improving device identification accuracy. It also detects if any suspicious or unwanted pattern is found in real time.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

the only thing I dislike about the fingerprint is the pricing because it will become expensive when we do High number of API calls. so the pricing discount can be provided based on the API limit.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint solves my major problem like in my usecase it automatically detects the abnormal activity patterns that are happening on my browser, and it also provides security from attackers using stolen credentails to access the user account.

  ### 5. The anti-cheat layer our assessment platform needed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andro B. | Frontend Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint tells us when someone is using a VPN, browsing in incognito mode, or when their browser has been tampered with. Those are signals we never would have been able to catch on our own, so we rely on the flags and act on them. The visitor ID stays consistent even when a candidate switches browsers, clears cookies, or signs up with a new email.

The best part is that we don’t have to configure anything. There are no rules to write, no lists to maintain, and no training required. We simply review what it reports about a candidate and take action, and it has been right almost every time.

Their web app is also straightforward to use. When I need to look up a single event, I paste the event ID into the dashboard and everything related to it like signals, device, browser, IP, and location appears together on one page.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Honestly, nothing specific comes to mind. We’ve been using it for a while now, and it’s just quietly done its job. It hasn’t crashed, it hasn’t unexpectedly changed its behavior on us, and on the few occasions we’ve had a question, the documentation was clear enough that we never needed to open a support ticket.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest issue for us is candidates cheating on our online tests. Fingerprint catches duplicate-device cases on its own and flags them in our recruiter dashboard, which helps us avoid trusting scores that shouldn’t be trusted. What we pay Fingerprint each year is small compared to what it protects.

Because the same response also gives us a rough location and the device, we can spot odd patterns, like a candidate saying they applied from one country but taking the test from another, without having to add a second tool just for that.

It also fits into the rest of our setup without creating noise. We pass the visitor ID into the tool we use to track errors, so when something breaks for a candidate, we know exactly which session to look at and don’t have to guess.

  ### 6. Smooth integration, excellent support, clean product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David F. | Staff Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I really liked how the integration with Fingerprint was extremely smooth. Working with their technical integration specialists and the customer sales representative throughout the process was very enjoyable. I appreciated their transparency around pricing both on their site and in the calls. During a thirty-day pilot, we did a fairly in-depth audit and found the quality of Fingerprint's device fingerprinting to be extremely good, especially when compared to some competitors. The initial setup was extremely easy, with clean and clear documentation and portal. Any problems we encountered were swiftly handled by their very responsive integration specialist who was accessible via Slack.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

This is not a dislike, moreso, that Fingerprint is not a full-feature fraud provider, and does not bill itself as one. Building a model ourselves using internal data combined with their device ID to create a composite score for our specific sector is what we ultimately had to do to use this effectively. A lot of the smart signals that Fingerprint collects and exposes are not necessarily 100% correlated with fraud, which mean that the suspect score is helpful, but not the whole picture.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint for device fingerprinting. The integration was extremely smooth, and the quality of device fingerprinting is extremely good compared to competitors.

  ### 7. Seamless Integration, great data outcome

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro R. | iOS Engineer, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I like that Fingerprint.com is highly accurate and reliable for identifying visitors, even when they use VPNs, incognito mode, or clear cookies. The integration is straightforward, the API is easy to work with, and the documentation makes setup smooth. It also provides very detailed device intelligence, which helps a lot with fraud prevention, bot detection, and understanding user behavior. Overall, it’s a powerful tool that gives us consistent signals we can trust.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

It’s not really a downside, but Fingerprint collects a lot of data that can be hard to understand at first glance. It might be helpful to offer more targeted graphs and internal fraud scores that can be tailored to customer preferences, so the information is easier to interpret.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Capture signals to determine whether the same user is operating multiple accounts, so we can better understand and identify duplicate or linked profiles.

  ### 8. Essential for Managing Duplicate Accounts

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luiz L. | Mobile Developer, Entertainment, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

We are using Fingerprint to locate users with duplicate accounts, and it provides us with easy identification of these accounts, allowing for more agility in bans and in keeping bans active on the platform. The ease of information persistence is a great benefit, because even if a banned user creates another account using a VPN, thanks to Fingerprint, we can identify and punish these offenders. I love the generous limits for Android on the free plan, as they offer a limit of 500,000 and we barely use 5,000 monthly. The ease of implementation is excellent; it's basically plug and play, everything is very well explained and easy to understand. Our development team didn't have the resources to pay for all the necessary tools, and the initial free plan from Fingerprint was essential, as we like companies that offer initial free services, even if limited. The initial setup was incredibly simple, it didn't even take 24 hours for everything to be up and running.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I believe that the limits for iOS and Web should not be shared. From my point of view, it would be better to have a specific limit for iOS and another for Web.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps us identify users with duplicate accounts, speeding up bans and keeping them effective. It solves the problem of information persistence, preventing banned users from creating new accounts using VPN.

**Reviewed by:** Eden B. | Co-Founder & CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Getting started with Fingerprint was incredibly easy - the documentation is clear and the initial setup took just minutes. What really stood out is the wide range of SDKs available, including Flutter, which made it simple to integrate into our mobile app without any friction.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

The pricing can feel a bit steep for smaller teams or early-stage projects. The jump from the free plan to the paid tier is significant, and a more flexible intermediate option would be welcome. Other than that, there are no major complaints - it does what it promises very well.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were dealing with card-testing fraud through Stripe, where bad actors were running small automated charges to validate stolen card details. Without reliable device fingerprinting, we had no practical way to connect these attempts across sessions, which led to unnecessary refunds and chargeable disputes that were costing us real money. Fingerprint addressed this by providing a consistent device identifier that still persists even when fraudsters clear cookies or switch browsers, so we can spot and block repeat offenders before any charge goes through.

  ### 11. Excellent Tool for Fraud Prevention

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdirahman A. | Information Technology Services Specialist, Food & Beverages, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint is simple to use and implement on devices without requiring any special setup. Providing us with precise device identification has allowed us to identify questionable users and prevent fraud. We have only had positive experiences working with the platform; their helpdesk team is always quick to respond when we need assistance, and they have assisted our team with getting real value out of their services.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

The overall platform has been very good for us, although there are a few advanced features that have been difficult for some staff members to understand at first. More tutorials and example scenarios to help new users understand how to best use the platform would be beneficial. Overall, our experience has been dependable and seamless.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint allows us to track newly identified visitors by providing a unique way of identifying visitors, reducing the chance of fraud, increasing account security, and providing us with assurance when measuring user behavior, thereby lowering the risk of abusing accounts, creating fake accounts, and conducting suspicious transactions, resulting in time savings for our employees and protecting our business from losses.

  ### 12. Ease of Use and Exceptional Accuracy for Deduplication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deoclides N. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I think the ease of use and implementation of Fingerprint is very good, and the accuracy in identifying a device's signals is excellent. The system managed to identify up to 70 users using the same account, which demonstrated the product's effectiveness in preventing unwanted account sharing. Additionally, the initial setup of Fingerprint was quite easy, and in just one week a small team had everything ready.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I think the pricing could be a bit more transparent. At first, we would load it on every screen and it ended up being very expensive. We didn't find the information that it only needed to be done at login very clear, so in the first few months, we had this problem, but later we managed to fix it.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint to avoid account duplication and prevent sharing between users. It helped us identify customers who were abusing the plan and resolved cases with up to 70 users using the same account.

  ### 13. Identifies Suspicious Activity While Keeping Legitimate Users Frictionless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Milen T. | Risk Integration Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

Fingerprint is very easy to use. The integration process is straightforward, and the documentation makes it easy to get started quickly. The interface is also clean and easy to navigate, so it doesn’t take much time for teams to understand how to access and use the information.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

One improvement that could make the platform even more useful is deeper support for investigation workflows, such as basic case management features. It would help to be able to organize findings, add notes, and group related device activity directly within the platform, rather than having to track those details elsewhere.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps us more reliably identify the devices behind user activity, which is especially valuable when dealing with fraud risks like multi-accounting, bonus abuse, or suspicious payment behavior. Having a consistent device identifier lets us link activity across sessions and spot patterns that would otherwise be hard to detect.

This strengthens both our automated risk checks and our manual investigations. It gives our team greater confidence when reviewing accounts and helps us make faster, better-informed decisions, while still minimizing friction for legitimate users.

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I like that Fingerprint provides reliable information which helps me make informed decisions. The device intelligence and various signals offered by Fingerprint are really handy for determining if a user is legitimate or not. It gives me a lot of information about users, such as if they are using the same device to create multiple accounts or if they're using a headless browser. Additionally, Fingerprint helps me detect if users are using a VPN or proxy, which is very helpful. Initial setup is good too.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I find the proxy detection feature unreliable. It sometimes identifies normal IPs as proxies, which isn't accurate. This feature needs improvement to ensure reliable information. Also, the free plan only allows for 1,000 requests per month, which feels too limited.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint to prevent promo code abuse and fake sign-ups by detecting users using VPNs and creating multiple accounts.

  ### 21. Smart Signals Give me real time device intelligence that goes beyond basic fingerprint

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Casey Joe C. | Freelance developer, Accounting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

What impressed me most about Fingerprint is the smart signals feature. It doesn't just identify devices; it tells me why a visitor is suspicious. The detection through virtual machines and incognato mode all come in a single api response, which helps me make the right decision about visitors. The smart signals give me a lot of data about visitors, and from a single api , I can know everything about them. This feature is crucial for catching abuse permissions. The initial setup was very easy, just like adding a JavaScript code to the head of my website and running it directly.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I think the proxy detection in Fingerprint needs some improvement. It sometimes indicates that a visitor is using a proxy when they actually aren't.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps me identify returning visitors who clear cookies or use VPNs to bypass limits, reducing headless browser and scam abuse with minimal engineering effort.

  ### 22. Enhances Risk Decision-Making Seamlessly

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I find the accuracy and stability of the visitor identifier in Fingerprint impressive, even across sessions and app reinstalls. The documentation is thorough, making it easier to understand and utilize the product effectively. The confidence score is a genuinely useful signal rather than just a binary flag, providing more nuanced insights. The SDK integration was straightforward, requiring minimal engineering effort to set up. Fingerprint has made our device fingerprinting noticeably more reliable and consistent, with smart signals offering actionable risk indicators without complicating our detection logic.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Nothing major to flag at this stage. However, it would be great if they could uniquely identify users in webviews and custom Chrome tabs (CCT). It would be good to see continued expansion of the smart signals library over time.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint adds a reliable device intelligence layer, supporting risk-aware decisions without friction. The smart signals provide valuable, actionable risk indicators, strengthening our risk infrastructure with consistent, reliable device fingerprinting.

  ### 23. Reliable Device Identification with Easy Integration for Fraud Prevention

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luka K. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint.js provides the most value through its reliable device/browser identification and easy integration. We use it regularly as part of fraud prevention and traffic quality analysis, and it helps us better understand whether multiple visits or events are coming from the same user/device even when cookies are limited or unavailable.

One of the biggest benefits is how quickly it can be integrated into a web app. The JavaScript SDK is straightforward, the API is easy to work with, and it fits well into existing frontend tracking or analytics flows. This saves development time compared to building and maintaining our own fingerprinting logic.

Performance has also been good in our use case. It runs on the client side without creating noticeable issues for the user experience, which is important because scripts like this often load on high-traffic pages.

The main ROI is better fraud detection and user recognition. It gives us more confidence when analyzing suspicious behavior, bot-like activity, repeated visits, or users trying to bypass standard cookie-based tracking. That makes it useful not only for security, but also for improving data quality in analytics and marketing workflows.

Support and documentation are also strong. The docs make it clear how to start, how to retrieve visitor IDs, and how to use the results in backend or analytics systems. Overall, it is a reliable and practical tool for identity, fraud prevention, and traffic intelligence.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint is very useful, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The pricing can become expensive as traffic volume grows, especially if you need to use it across multiple websites or high-volume environments.

Another limitation is that implementation still requires some technical planning. The basic JavaScript integration is simple, but getting the most value from it requires backend integration, proper event mapping, and clear decisions about how visitor IDs should be used in fraud prevention or analytics workflows.

Also, because fingerprinting depends on browser/device signals, it is not always a perfect identity solution. Privacy tools, browser restrictions, VPNs, and unusual device configurations can still affect accuracy, so it should be used as part of a broader fraud detection system rather than as the only signal.

Overall, I do not dislike the product itself, but I would like more flexible pricing, clearer implementation examples for advanced use cases, and even more transparency around confidence levels and edge cases.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps solve the problem of identifying repeat visitors and suspicious users when cookies or normal session tracking are not enough. This is especially useful for fraud prevention, bot detection, duplicate account detection, and traffic quality analysis.

The biggest benefit is that it gives us a more reliable visitor identifier across sessions, browsers, and changing cookie conditions. That helps us better understand whether multiple events are coming from the same device or user environment, instead of treating every visit as completely new.

It also improves our analytics and decision-making. By combining Fingerprint data with our own backend, tracking, and fraud-prevention logic, we can detect patterns like repeated suspicious visits, attempts to bypass tracking, or abnormal traffic behavior.

For us, the main benefit is better confidence in traffic quality. It helps reduce uncertainty, improves fraud investigation workflows, and supports more accurate decisions around user risk, campaign performance, and suspicious activity.

  ### 24. Effortless Integration and Comprehensive Device Coverage, Needs Improved Root Detection

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harish S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I appreciate the ease of integration with Fingerprint, especially since the SDK is initialized with just a 5-line integration, and there's a simple choice of three regions instead of many confusing ones. I also love the reverse proxy option, which helped us achieve 100% device profile coverage by allowing us to route the DNS traffic for users behind private networks or firewalls. Additionally, the dashboard is great for showing key KPIs and trends, making it easy to monitor vulnerabilities with features like the smart signal. The initial setup was ultra easy thanks to the straightforward documentation. Fingerprint offers a clear view on dashboard regarding usage limits and access management.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Root detection seems very basic. Fingerprint doesn't detect Android's KernelSU level rooting and root hiding techniques. This area can be improved.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint identifies device manipulations to prevent account abuse and uniquely identifies devices even if reset. It handles vulnerable devices like jailbroken, rooted, or emulators effectively.

  ### 25. The Ultimate Solution for Blocking Spam and Unwanted Visitors, it's way better than any other

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rene M. | Solution Architect, Outsourcing/Offshoring, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint is one of the most accurate and privacy-conscious device identification solutions I’ve worked with. Its ability to recognize returning users—even after cookies are cleared or when browsers are in private mode—is especially valuable for fraud prevention and bot mitigation. Implementation is straightforward, the API documentation is clear, and the performance impact is minimal. What stands out most is how well it balances strong identification accuracy with a genuine commitment to transparency and compliance. Overall, it’s a robust option for modern anti-abuse and anti-spam needs.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Because the platform is quite technical, teams without dedicated engineering resources may need extra onboarding time to take full advantage of its capabilities. More advanced configuration and tuning also require some familiarity with fraud detection concepts. Pricing can scale with usage as well, so in high-traffic environments it’s important to plan implementation and monitoring carefully in order to maximize ROI.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint addresses the challenge of accurately identifying users and devices in environments where traditional tracking methods fall short. It helps reduce spam, account takeovers, fake signups, and other fraudulent activity by providing reliable device intelligence. As a result, platform security improves, revenue is better protected, and less operational time is spent investigating abuse. ### 26. Accurate Device Intelligence with Straightforward Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandre S. | Developper, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint.com has continued to be a reliable part of our fraud prevention stack. We run a rewards platform where detecting duplicate accounts, VPNs, and bot traffic is essential. Fingerprint's device identification accuracy remains consistently high, and we've seen very few false positives. The JavaScript agent is lightweight and doesn't noticeably impact page load times. We also appreciate the webhook and server API options, which let us run additional checks server-side before granting rewards. The dashboard has improved over time, making it easier to inspect visitor details and understand flagged signals. Also customer support has been responsive on the rare occasion we've reached out.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

The only area I'd love to see improve is pricing flexibility for growing startups. The jump from the free plan to the $99/month Pro tier can feel steep when you're still scaling. A lighter intermediate plan or a pay-as-you-go option would make it easier for smaller teams to grow into the product without hesitation. That said, the value at the Pro tier is solid once you reach the volume to justify it.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Fingerprint primarily for Fraud Detection and Bot Detection within a gaming reward ecosystem. It has quickly become a core component of our application, running on every significant user interaction to ensure integrity. The biggest challenge in the GPT space is users creating multiple accounts to farm rewards or using VPNs to bypass regional restrictions. Fingerprint solves this by accurately identifying devices even when users try to mask their identity. This benefits us by preventing financial loss from fraudulent payouts and ensuring our rewards go to actual, unique players.

  ### 27. A story that shows you how powerful Fingerprint is

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph O. | Computer Games, Computer Games, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I'm a web developer and I've been using Fingerprint for 15 days, both personally and professionally for a client, and it's been excellent so far. Let me tell you how it started.

My client, www.guinrank.com, is a website for writing SEO-optimized articles and much more. They offered a free trial, but
were experiencing excessive use of the free trial on their site. This was costing them a lot in Al API bills and putting a huge
strain on the server. The solution was to find something to stop this, so we used Fingerprint. It offered an unlimited free trial,This was very good for testing the service, and then we integrated it into our login page. We discovered that there were many accounts belonging to the same person, and we blocked them. This helped us solve the problem of the high AI API bill, as it decreased from $900 per month to $500.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Everything was good, but their prices are high and support is slow and not available 24/7.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Disabling multiple accounts belonging to the same person results in savings of approximately $400 per month on API costs and improved quality for real users.

  ### 28. Fraud detection and Human user identification efficiently and effectively

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandeep V. | Deputy General Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

There are many good features about using Fingerprint, few key points for consideration are -
1. Account abuse:
    - Distribution of harmful contents like spam, phishing, CSAI, terror, malware, etc. We want to block these users from creating additional accounts
    - Violation of Acceptable Use Policy: we want to drives abusers away from storage abuse, bandwidth abuse, referral abuse, etc.
2. Phishing/spam: Block sharing attempts from known abusers
3. Threat Intel: block account created by known threat actors
4. Payment fraud: block fraud payment attempt for known abusers; block frequent payment attempts for the same fingerprint
5. Users using Dropbox’s API for attacks such as Command and Control (CC)

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

There might be some privacy and user consent concerns for some users / regions as fingerprint works invisibly behind the scenes, many users don’t know they’re being tracked, but other than this the tool works very effectively.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We introduce Fingerprintdue to its
1. relative stability since it won’t change easily within months for the same device
2. hard to mimic due to large number of factors required to generate the fingerprint id (as an example font, browser version, hardware identifiers, platform, screensize and many more),
3. high coverage (90% in average). We will create a standalone service which can serve use cases not only for us but also for other use cases across the company.

  ### 29. Easy Integration, Accurate Fingerprinting, but Pricey at Scale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muddhit B. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I really like how easy it is to integrate Fingerprint. The setup was super simple, just adding a few lines of code, and it was up and running in minutes. The UI is also very simple and helps me quickly access necessary data across months. Fingerprint's device fingerprinting accuracy is impressive and it effectively identifies repeat users, even if cookies are cleared or during incognito browsing. It's great for detecting common user fraud, preventing abuse, and managing multi-account detection with strong signals for fraud prevention.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

So it's expensive at scale. There are some time false positives occasionally. And, yeah, mainly these two things.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps me track different user types and IPs to protect my app's reputation. It provides real-time data for fast action, preventing bad traffic and security issues. The integration is easy, and it offers strong fraud prevention signals.

  ### 30. Accurate results and a smooth onboarding experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maaz K. | Senior software engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

What stood out to me with Fingerprint is how easy it was to integrate into our existing stack. The documentation is straightforward, and the setup didn’t feel overly complex or time-consuming. Once we had it running, it’s been pretty hands-off, which is exactly what you want from something like this.

The accuracy has also been solid. We’ve seen very consistent device identification, even across different browsers, which was important for us. The dashboard is clean and easy to navigate, so it doesn’t take much effort to understand what’s happening at a glance.

Support has been another positive. Whenever we’ve reached out with questions, the team responded quickly and with actual helpful guidance — not canned responses. That made a big difference.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Pricing can get a bit expensive as you scale, especially if your traffic increases quickly. It’s not unreasonable, but it’s definitely something to keep an eye on as you grow.

I also think there could be more built-in tools or clearer examples for some edge-case scenarios. The SDK itself works well, but having a few more practical implementation examples or ready-made patterns would make things smoother, especially for more complex setups.

That said, I don’t have any major complaints. Once everything is set up, it runs reliably and doesn’t require much ongoing effort.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint has helped us get a much clearer view of users and devices, even in cases where someone is using incognito mode or creating multiple accounts. It’s been particularly useful for flagging suspicious behavior, cutting down on duplicate accounts, and generally reducing fraud — all without adding friction for legitimate users.

Overall, it’s given us more confidence in our security decisions. We have better visibility into who’s interacting with the system, which makes our user flows and risk checks feel a lot more reliable.

  ### 31. Reliable User Identification Enhances Data Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lakshay D. | Founding Frontend Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I really like Fingerprint's reliability and accuracy in identifying users, which is much more robust than traditional methods like IP addresses or cookies. This gives me confidence that our rate limiting is genuinely effective, crucial for protecting our proprietary data. The setup was straightforward, with smooth integration and clear documentation, allowing us to start using the visitor identification signals right away. I've found it balances strong abuse prevention with a smooth user experience, working seamlessly in the background without adding friction for legitimate users.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Overall, Fingerprint works well for us, but there are a few areas where improvements would add even more value. First, while the identification is strong, having even more visibility and transparency into how confidence scores are derived would help us fine-tune our rate-limiting logic. Deeper analytics or clearer debugging tools would make it easier for our team to investigate edge cases. Second, more built-in tooling around abuse detection patterns or anomaly insights (on top of raw identification) would be helpful. We currently layer additional logic on top, so tighter integrations or native features in that direction could reduce engineering overhead.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps us reliably identify users and apply user-level rate limiting, preventing overuse and abuse of our proprietary data. It provides robust, persistent user recognition, significantly reducing abuse and safeguarding our data while ensuring fair usage without impacting legitimate users.

  ### 32. Fingerprint - Best Tool for Fraud Detection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Idris J. | Solutions Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

The best thing about fingerprint is the suspect score it provides for each user, network and IP details and the unique visitorId it generates. The APIs are well documented, easy to use and integration was smooth.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

The visitorId can change when a customer uses a different browser on the same machine. This feels more like a feature request: if it’s possible, it would be helpful to identify the same user across different browsers.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps us detect order fraud by identifying when the same customer is trying to enroll multiple times using different names or SSNs. This is especially critical for us because we run soft credit checks, and scammers may use stolen data from the dark web to sign up for electricity. This saved us thousands of dollars in the long run and saved our reputation as a whole with electricity suppliers. In addition, we use its bot-detection functionality to serve cached content to bots, which helps us reduce infrastructure costs.

  ### 33. Reliable visitor identification for fraud detection and attribution accuracy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayank M. | Data Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

As a data analyst in a performance marketing agency, what I value most about Fingerprint is the reliability of its visitor identification across sessions and devices. In marketing attribution and fraud analysis, traditional cookies are fragile and frequently blocked. Fingerprint provides a much more stable identifier, which significantly improves match rates and reduces ambiguity in our datasets.

We use Fingerprint on a daily basis across multiple client environments, particularly for fraud detection workflows and attribution analysis. Because it becomes part of the core tracking layer, reliability and uptime are critical, and in our experience it has been consistent and dependable.

Customer support has also been responsive and technically competent. When we’ve had implementation or configuration questions, responses were clear and solution-oriented rather than generic documentation links. That makes a difference when you’re integrating into live production environments.

From a data perspective, it reduces noise, strengthens identity resolution, and supports more confident decision-making across fraud rules, campaign optimisation, and reporting.

Integration was straightforward, with clear documentation and flexible API options that made it easy to connect to our existing data pipelines and backend systems without major refactoring.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

While the identification accuracy is strong, pricing can scale quickly depending on traffic volume, which may be a consideration for high-traffic campaigns or large e-commerce clients. It requires careful forecasting to avoid unexpected cost increases.

There is also a learning curve when designing fraud rules or risk scoring logic around the fingerprint ID itself. The tool provides the identifier and signals, but building an effective fraud decisioning layer still requires internal data engineering effort.

Finally, communicating fingerprint-based identification to non-technical stakeholders can be challenging, particularly when discussing privacy implications or browser-level limitations.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps us solve three key problems:

Fraud detection and suspicious traffic filtering – We can identify repeat offenders, account abuse, and suspicious activity even when cookies are cleared or IP addresses rotate. This improves campaign quality and protects client budgets.

Attribution clarity – In multi-touch marketing environments, fragmented identity leads to inconsistent reporting. Fingerprint improves cross-session consistency, helping us reconcile conversion paths more accurately.

Bot and duplicate activity reduction – By identifying returning devices, we reduce duplicate lead submissions, fake sign-ups, and inflated engagement metrics.

The net benefit is cleaner data, more reliable reporting, improved trust in performance metrics, and stronger fraud controls for our clients. For a marketing agency that operates on data-driven decision making, this has direct commercial value.

  ### 34. High-Accuracy, Smooth Integration Fraud Prevention Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mladen T. | Product manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I truly appreciate Fingerprint for its accuracy and consistency in device identification, even in complex environments. This high-quality intelligence is invaluable, and the ease of integration and monitoring is a significant advantage. The overall developer experience with Fingerprint is exceptional, with smooth integrations and reliable webhooks. The low latency is particularly beneficial, making Fingerprint easy to scale and trust in real-time decision-making workflows. The initial setup was remarkably straightforward, thanks to clear documentation and well-structured SDKs. Fingerprint distinguished itself during our selection process with its accuracy, stability, and ease of integration, making it the clear winner among potential solutions.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I find that the product could improve in its transparency with probabilistic links and handling edge cases. In controlled environments, like internal testing or shared devices, probabilistic associations can create links that are difficult to interpret. Having more clarity or tools to understand why a probabilistic match was created would aid in debugging. Additionally, consistency of data availability across different workspaces can be improved. Sometimes, the same user or device-related information isn't seamlessly shared between environments, which can create blind spots during case analysis. Enhancing the ability to synchronize or reference common data across multiple workspaces - or at least providing clearer guidance or tools for handling those gaps - would streamline investigations and reduce unnecessary switching between environments.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Fingerprint to prevent fraud by identifying multiple accounts, benefiting from accurate device identification, easy integration, and scalable real-time decision workflows.

  ### 35. Accurate Fraud Detection and Easy Integration

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

We use Fingerprint in our web application as part of our team to identify users during signup and login. In my work I look at device IDs when new accounts are created to help us reduce duplicate and suspicious signups. This has enabled us to make our onboarding process more secure, without adding friction for users. It also works great without cookies, which has been especially helpful for our platform. The integration was easy and didn’t take a lot of changes to our existing system.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

We use Fingerprint to run checks during signup and login in our SaaS web application. As our user traffic grows, the pricing can become expensive. Part of my role is reviewing flagged or repeat devices, and the dashboard isn’t always intuitive, so it often takes extra steps to locate specific details. Simpler navigation, stronger filtering, and more built-in reports would make it easier for us to analyze user activity more quickly.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our SaaS web application, we use Fingerprint during signup and login to reduce duplicate and fake accounts. In my role, I review device IDs to identify repeat users, which has helped improve data quality and reduce fraud on our platform.

From a performance standpoint, it works reliably in real time and doesn’t slow down the user experience. The integration was straightforward for our team and didn’t require major changes to our existing system.

In terms of UI/UX, the core functionality works well, but the dashboard could be more intuitive when analysing user activity. Better filtering and clearer reports would help.

For pricing, it delivers value by reducing fraud, but costs can increase as traffic grows, so more flexible pricing would improve ROI.

Support and onboarding were smooth overall, and documentation helped us get started quickly. The smarts behind device identification, particularly in a no-cookie world, is a strong feature that offers real value.

  ### 36. A story illustrating how fingerprint saved the situation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ahmed A. | Freelancer, Accounting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I didn't think it was possible to collect this information from visitors, although it's a great feature if you have a website or app, as fingerprinting allows you to prevent fraud to a very high degree.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I haven't encountered any critical problems so far; I hope the support response speed improves.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is a simple story about my experience as a freelance web developer. I worked on developing the excellent statistics tool rybbit.com, which offered a free month of the paid plan. However, this was being misused, as users were creating multiple accounts, consuming a lot of our resources and time. So, we integrated fingerprinting into the registration interface and discovered that many were using VPNs to bypass our basic IP checks. This led us to block fraudsters from creating multiple accounts, resulting in significant savings on our server resources and a surge in subscriptions.

  ### 37. Reliable, Frictionless User Identification with Flexible Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiago C. | Engineering Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

What I like best about Fingerprint is how reliably it identifies users across sessions without adding friction to the user experience, while still giving us the flexibility and transparency we need to integrate it cleanly into our architecture.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

One area for improvement would be continuing to enhance the accuracy and consistency of Smart Signals, especially in edge cases like shared devices, VPN usage, or aggressive privacy settings - making those signals even more precise and predictable would increase confidence for high-stakes fraud and risk decisions.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint solves the problem of reliably identifying users across sessions and environments, even when traditional identifiers fall short. That allows us to gather consistent behavioral and device-level signals, reduce blind spots in our risk flows, and ultimately improve our fraud metrics, decision accuracy, and overall signal quality without adding friction to the user experience.

  ### 38. Fingerprint: Effortless Security Enhancement

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

The developer experience is strong, thanks to the thorough documentation and integrations, along with the rich metadata collected from devices.
The UI/UX are very good: simple and direct.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Price is a limiting factor.

For American companies, where the currency is more stable, it is OK. However, in other parts of the world, where local currencies have much lower purchasing power than the dollar, the product becomes prohibitive.

Additionally, in my opinion, the number of requests included for the price paid is expensive.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint is quite a powerful tool. In our case, we don’t need everything: only the part that helps identify who may be sharing accounts or running bots for data scraping.

The fraud prevention features are great, but they don’t fit our business niche.

  ### 40. Essential Tool for Anonymous Tracking and Paywall Security

The documentation is clear and covers all the different ways to integrate, with examples and ways to test API calls. I find their bot detection functionality really great. Fingerprint is very accurate with their bot detection and can tell you what type of bot was detected, allowing for more precise filtering between web scrapers and malicious bots. Their customer service is also great and always willing to help.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

There is nothing to dislike about Fingerperint. Any issues faced they would assist with.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps me identify returning users and detect bot activity on sites, with impressive accuracy in distinguishing between web scrapers and malicious bots.

  ### 42. Reliable Anonymous Identification for a Seamless OTP Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrius D. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

To start, Fingerprint fulfills its intended purpose exceptionally well, operating with notable efficiency. The admin interface is straightforward and user-friendly, which enables me to quickly get an overview of my website visitors. This has made it much easier to identify where my visitors are coming from and how they are accessing my site.

Integrating Fingerprint into my app was also very simple, and overall, it did not introduce any noticeable friction to the app’s functionality.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

The jump from the free tier to a paid subscription feels a bit steep; I would prefer a pay-as-you-go model to better align with our scaling needs. Additionally, the UX of the Identification Events screen could be improved. Since searching by Visitor ID is a primary task, having to drill down into filters feels counterintuitive. It would be much more efficient if there were a prominent, direct search bar for Visitor IDs on the main dashboard.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While many users utilize VPNs and privacy tools to protect their data—which is beneficial for security—it creates challenges for platforms that rely on accurate anonymous identification. Fingerprint solves this by allowing us to identify returning users reliably. This has enabled us to provide seamless OTP (One-Time Password) access to our website, reducing friction and improving the overall user experience.

  ### 43. Effective Bot Protection, Easy Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I like how Fingerprint is easy to use, and it has great integrations with existing platforms like Cloudflare. The auto-update feature is fantastic, as it updates itself to new versions without needing engineering assistance or manual deploys. I also find the simple dashboard very helpful for tracking traffic and information, making the initial setup pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Similar integrations with other platforms like Fastly are not automated enough compared to Cloudflare and require a higher plan which for that integration alone doesn't justify the price increase.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint blocks bots from using page features and uniquely identifies clients. It's easy to use with great integrations like Cloudflare, auto-updates without needing engineering help, and has a simple dashboard for tracking traffic and info.

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I use Fingerprint primarily for real-time fraud detection and user authentication on my SaaS platform, ensuring secure logins and preventing account takeovers. I appreciate its ability to solve persistent, cookie-less device identification, enabling accurate detection of multi-accounting fraud, sophisticated bots, account takeovers, promo abuse, and chargeback prevention, even across VPNs, browser resets, and incognito modes. What I like most about Fingerprint is its exceptional cross-platform accuracy and rock-solid signal resilience, which deliver consistent device IDs that catch sophisticated fraud attempts reliably, even through aggressive privacy tools, OS updates, or full device changes. I also love how seamlessly I can integrate Fingerprint with tools like AWS WAF, Plaid, and Segment for enhanced bot mitigation, secure financial onboarding, and enriched user analytics. The initial setup was extremely straightforward with excellent documentation and pre-built examples, allowing us to start collecting reliable device IDs within 15 minutes. Fingerprint offered superior accuracy, more stable signals across privacy changes, and better spoofing resistance than SEON's device intelligence module, significantly reducing false negatives in our fraud detection workflows. I'd give Fingerprint a strong 9.5 out of 10 for recommendation due to its unmatched accuracy, spoofing resistance, and seamless integration.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint could improve with more granular pricing tiers for mid-volume users and slightly faster mobile SDK signal stabilization in highly restricted iOS environments post-iOS 18 privacy updates.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint for real-time fraud detection and user authentication, solving cookie-less device identification for multi-accounting fraud and sophisticated bots, even across privacy tools like VPNs or incognito modes.

  ### 45. Easy Integration and Accurate Cross-Device Identification with FingerprintJS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle H. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I like FingerprintJS because it’s easy to integrate, highly accurate, and works well for fraud prevention and user identification across devices and browsers. I also appreciate the strong documentation, reliable API performance, and the ability to identify returning users even when cookies are blocked or cleared.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Pricing at scale and some features can be complex to fine tune.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of reliably identifying devices and returning users when cookies are unavailable, blocked, or easily reset.

  ### 46. Exceptional Fraud Prevention with Minor Mobile Setbacks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I use Fingerprint to securely identify and track users and devices across sessions and platforms without relying on cookies, which is super useful for fraud prevention, bot detection, and account security in web apps. I like its insanely high accuracy and device signal stability, as it identifies users reliably even after clearing cookies, using VPNs, or switching browsers, with almost no false positives in tough fraud scenarios. High accuracy and device signal stability make Fingerprint incredibly valuable by enabling near-perfect detection of returning fraudsters, multi-account abusers, and advanced bots even across incognito modes, VPNs, browser changes, or device resets, drastically reducing chargebacks, fake signups, and abuse while keeping legitimate users friction-free. The initial setup was very easy, just a few lines of client-side JS code plus a quick backend API key configuration, with clear docs, and it was working in under 30 minutes. I also integrated Fingerprint with tools like Cloudflare for bot management, Stripe/Riskified for payment fraud prevention, and custom backend rules engines to layer device intelligence with behavioral and velocity checks.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

The main thing that could be improved with Fingerprint is its occasionally higher-than-desired pricing for high-volume use cases and the fact that mobile SDK accuracy sometimes lags slightly behind web in very locked-down or emulated environments.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint to identify users securely across sessions, preventing fraud, bot attacks, and session hijacking with high accuracy and device stability, even when cookies are cleared or VPNs used.

  ### 47. Great for Bot Detection, but API Limits are Frustrating

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I like Fingerprint for its ease of use and the custom portal it offers to track visitors. I also appreciate the ability to set bot detection parameters directly from within the portal. These features allow us to customize the experience for visitors, set up security protocols if a bot is detected, and even ban certain visitors if we find them to be malicious. The initial setup was pretty straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

What doesn't work well is the API call limitations. In our development environments, we may trigger many Fingerprint calls. However, calls are blocked by Fingerprint after reaching a certain amount. This makes testing difficult.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps us detect bots trying to scrub our website, customize visitor experiences, and implement security protocols efficiently.

  ### 48. Highly Reliable for Fraud Detection, Easy Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristian G. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

What I like most about Fingerprint is how consistent the activity is compared to traditional methods like cookies. It's real and reliable, providing identification without adding friction for users. The initial setup was super easy; the documentation is clean and integration doesn't take much effort. I find it to be really reliable and it does a great job at solving real-world issues like fraud protection and user identification.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Well, one downside is that accuracy can drop in very privacy-heavy environments with aggressive anti-tracking. In those cases, identification isn't always as stable. But, like, it could still work. Also, interpretive edge cases can take a bit of tuning depending on your use case.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint detects suspicious activity, preventing fake and duplicate accounts, adding an extra security layer. It addresses issues like cookies bypassing and creates a reliable identity without user friction, improving fraud protection, and enhancing general security.

  ### 49. Accurate, Reliable Visitor Identification With Smooth Integration and Helpful Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sreekanth S. | Senior DevOps Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

The accuracy and reliability of the visitor identification helps us filter out bad actors much more easily. It was simple and straightforward to integrate into our codebase, and their team’s support also helped us reduce latency.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

There isn’t much else to add, but the verification through the dashboard felt a bit slow for real-time identity verification, especially since they offer other verification methods.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us filter out bad actors and repeat offenders from our application.

  ### 50. Effortless Integration and Reliable Fraud Detection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nitin G. | Software Development Engineer - II, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I think the best quality of Fingerprint is its ability to differentiate genuine traffic by recognizing unique IPs, which helps me ensure that real people are visiting my personal portfolio website. I love how super easy it was to integrate Fingerprint with my projects. I just had to paste the provided prompt, and it seamlessly integrated with my existing tools. The web interface is super smooth and seamless, making it very easy to get started, from creating an account to setting it up with my project. The insights on where traffic is coming from are very useful to me.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

One thing I noticed is that the prompt I copied only adds the use event state. It doesn't integrate automatically with my app. It tells the LLMs or VC recording units to create a new route and add Fingerprint on that particular route, but that's not ideal. It should ask if I want to integrate it with the full app or a particular route or page. Also, Fingerprint currently doesn't work with ad blockers. If they could figure out a way to determine if someone is using ad blockers, that would be really helpful.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint for bot detection, ensuring only genuine traffic hits my portfolio. It helps analyze visitor data, showing traffic source and IP location, allowing me to adjust pricing based on regional interest.
