## Fingerprint Reviews
  ### 1. The "Batman and Robin" of Anti-Bot Protection

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc X. | Founder, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint provides deep visitor insights that directly inform our business strategy. Having easy access to advanced anti-bot and WAF capabilities, features that are usually locked behind heavy enterprise paywalls, is a game-changer. The proxy intelligence accuracy is unmatched, and the generous free trial made trying it out a no-brainer.

The 1-click Cloudflare integration is remarkably smooth, delivering top-tier performance right at the edge. The UI/UX is clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. Onboarding was completely seamless, and the platform works so flawlessly that we haven't even needed support. Fingerprint and Cloudflare together are an absolute powerhouse.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

The accuracy of Fingerprint's claims about identifying website visitors isn't always reliable. Sometimes they report what they find as factual, even when it's not accurate, and can feel like a hallucination on their part. For instance, when testing my own bots on my site, it incorrectly identified them as 'nodriver', while I was using a patched chromium fork, which was misleading.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint to get detailed information about website visitors, helping me plan my business. It's the easiest accessible anti-bot/WAF provider, making such capabilities conveniently available.

  ### 2. Fingerprint’s Visitor ID and Smart Signals Make Fraud Detection Far More Reliable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe A. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

In cybersecurity and fraud prevention, bad actors heavily rely on VPNs, residential proxies, and Tor to borrow the reputation of legitimate consumer connections. Traditional IP-based tracking easily falls blind to this. Fingerprint solves this by drilling down into the Application and Transport layers through its combination of a highly stable Visitor ID and specialized Smart Signals.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

No fingerprinting algorithm is 100% perfect. Major software updates (like a massive Windows or Chrome rollout) can occasionally cause a flood of legitimate users' fingerprints to subtly shift simultaneously.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint solves the fundamental problem of identity deception on the internet. Because bad actors can easily change their IP addresses, clear their cookies, and use incognito modes, traditional tracking methods fail to catch them.

By looking at a device's unique hardware and software configurations instead of its network location, Fingerprint provides an incredibly stable identifier.

  ### 3. Reliable device intelligence that helped us reduce abuse without adding friction

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria S. | Sales coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

What stood out the most was how quick it was to integrate and how actionable the data became from day one. The documentation is clear, the SDKs are easy to work with, and the device identification feels significantly more reliable than relying only on cookies or basic analytics. We especially liked having additional signals available to help identify suspicious behaviour while keeping the experience smooth for legitimate users.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Pricing can become a consideration as usage grows, especially for smaller teams or products that are scaling quickly. I’d also like to see even more filtering and investigation tools directly inside the dashboard to make historical analysis easier.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helped us improve fraud prevention and reduce duplicate or suspicious activity across the platform. Being able to recognise returning devices more consistently gave us better visibility and reduced manual review time. Overall, it helped improve trust in user actions while keeping implementation effort relatively low.

  ### 4. Reliable Device Identification for Smooth Fraud Detection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan T. | Lead Software Engineer, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Reliable device identification. It gives us another layer beyond IP addresses and account information, which has been valuable for detecting duplicate accounts, bonus abuse, and other suspicious behaviour while keeping the experience smooth for genuine users.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Overall, there isn’t much to dislike. If I had to point to one drawback, it’s that identifying the same user across private/incognito sessions isn’t always possible, which can make some duplicate-account investigations a bit more difficult.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps us identify duplicate accounts, bonus abuse, and other suspicious activity that would be hard to catch using account details or IP addresses alone. It has become an important signal in our fraud and risk workflows, allowing us to spot linked accounts faster and investigate cases with more confidence. The biggest benefit is that we can better protect promotions and rewards from abuse while still keeping the experience straightforward for legitimate users.

  ### 5. High quality integration making AI Agent traffic visible for us in GA4

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edwin d. | Head of Product, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint helped us solve a very specific challenge: identifying AI agent traffic and making that data available in GA4. Before implementing it, we had no reliable way to distinguish AI-driven visits from regular traffic. By enriching and forwarding this information to our analytics stack, we gained visibility into a growing traffic source that would otherwise go unnoticed. The integration was easy to implement and quickly provided insights that we now use in reporting and analysis.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

The main limitation for us is that the identification capabilities are stronger than the reporting capabilities. Fingerprint provides the data we need, but we still rely on external tools such as GA4 to fully analyze and visualize AI agent traffic. More built-in reporting and monitoring features for AI-related use cases would add significant value.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the challenges we faced was that AI agent traffic was becoming increasingly relevant, but remained largely invisible in traditional analytics platforms. Fingerprint enabled us to reliably identify and classify this traffic, enrich it with additional context, and integrate it into our GA4 reporting. As a result, we can now monitor AI-driven visits separately from human traffic, provide clients with better insights, and make more informed decisions based on a more complete view of website activity.

  ### 6. Scalable Device Intelligence with Strong Visibility Into User Behavior

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Subham B. | Co founder and ceo , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint stood out to us because of how quickly it could be integrated into our existing systems without creating operational friction. The onboarding process was straightforward, and the documentation made it easy for our engineering team to implement the solution efficiently. We were able to start analyzing device activity shortly after deployment, which helped accelerate our evaluation phase.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

While the platform delivers strong device-level insights, it requires some internal configuration to fully align with specific business logic. The raw signals are highly useful, but organizations may need to define their own frameworks for interpreting and acting on them effectively.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint has helped us significantly improve visibility into user behavior and device-level activity. Before implementation, it was more challenging to consistently identify repeat devices or detect unusual interaction patterns across sessions.

Since adopting the platform, we’ve been able to enhance our monitoring capabilities, reduce manual investigation effort, and improve the overall efficiency of our internal review processes. The added intelligence has strengthened our ability to make faster, more confident decisions while maintaining a more secure and reliable user environment.

  ### 7. Fingerprint: Accurate Device Identification That Keeps Security Simple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kabir K. | Partner and Founding Team, Venture Capital & Private Equity, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint has turned out to be a solid tool for us. To navigate the platform was straightforward, and identifying devices with accuracy has been nice (along with the integration into our process). In addition to providing device identification, the platform helps strengthen security and provide a more straightforward user experience by keeping things simple and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

The pricing structure can be a little overwhelming for a start-up or small business. A few advanced features may take some time to fully comprehend, but with the new documentation and customer support team available to assist with the process, it has certainly become more manageable.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall, Fingerprint allows us to identify suspicious activity, prevent account abuse, and confidently identify returning users, all through the device intelligence provided by Fingerprint to make more informed risk decisions, mitigate fraud losses, and create a safer environment for our business and customers.

  ### 8. Fast Integration and Rich Data Insights with Fingerprint

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Delia A. | Data Processor Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

What I like best about Fingerprint is how easy and fast it was to integrate into our system. The implementation was straightforward, allowing us to get up and running very quickly.
Another key advantage is the quality and depth of the data it provides. Compared to other solutions we evaluated, Fingerprint offers a broader and more useful range of information, giving us valuable insights into our users and helping us strengthen our fraud prevention capabilities.
Even though we are still working on integrating additional aspects of the API, the results so far have been very satisfying.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

At this stage, we don’t have any major concerns. As we are still in the process of integrating additional aspects of the API, some features are not fully implemented on our side yet, so we are still exploring the full potential of the solution.
In some cases, it would be helpful to have even more documentation or examples for advanced use cases, especially when working with more complex integrations.
That said, our overall experience so far has been very positive, and we expect to get even more value as we continue expanding the integration.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint is helping us solve the challenge of reliably identifying users when traditional methods like cookies just aren’t enough.
It allows us to recognise when the same device is being used, even if cookies are cleared or users switch to incognito mode. This makes it much easier to spot things like duplicate accounts or suspicious activity.
For us, the main benefit is having better visibility into our users and being able to strengthen our fraud prevention without adding extra friction to the user experience.

  ### 9. Reliable device intelligence that improves security with less user friction

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen . | Security Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

What I like best about Fingerprint is the consistency of its device identification compared to basic fingerprinting approaches. In practice, it does a much better job keeping the same browser tied to the same identity over time, which reduces false positives and unnecessary step-up challenges. The added risk signals are also genuinely useful for fraud and account takeover detection.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

What I dislike most is the cost at higher volumes and limited transparency into some of the underlying decision logic. It performs well, but parts of it can feel like a black box, which makes internal explainability and tuning harder for teams that want deeper control.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint is helping us solve unreliable device identity in authentication and fraud workflows. Before, the same legitimate device could appear as multiple identities, which created noise and unnecessary re-challenges.

  ### 10. Easy SDK Integration, Fast Low-Latency API Calls, and Clear Documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akash D. | Assistant Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I used the fingerprint, so first the setup of the environment is simple and easy to use dashboard and navigation bar. Its developer SDK is very easy to integrate, and it presents in various language supports like JavaScript, React, and more. It has very low latency while we try to do API calls, even for high traffic applications, the response is quite fast. Its pricing plans are attractive, as it starts from free for exploring API & for basic identification. Fingerprint provides very good support with it's clear and precise documentation, which guides on step by step for complete process. It also has AI features, which help in improving device identification accuracy. It also detects if any suspicious or unwanted pattern is found in real time.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

the only thing I dislike about the fingerprint is the pricing because it will become expensive when we do High number of API calls. so the pricing discount can be provided based on the API limit.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint solves my major problem like in my usecase it automatically detects the abnormal activity patterns that are happening on my browser, and it also provides security from attackers using stolen credentails to access the user account.

  ### 11. Cut down fraud abuse without adding friction for real users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Gambling & Casinos | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

We use Fingerprint to catch multi-accounting and linked accounts on our platform, which is a constant issue in online gaming/crypto environments where users try to create duplicate accounts to abuse bonuses or get around bans. It’s been solid for a few months now. The visitor IDs have been stable enough that we can reliably tie new signups back to previously flagged devices, even when someone changes IPs or clears cookies. Integration was straightforward, and it’s made our fraud review process much less manual since we’re no longer relying purely on IP or email matching.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Nothing major so far, mostly minor gripes rather than real issues. Nothing that's gotten in the way of it doing its job.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us identify users running multiple accounts to exploit promotions or bypass account restrictions, which was hard to catch reliably before. That's cut down on abuse and made our fraud/risk team more effective without adding friction for legitimate players.

  ### 12. The anti-cheat layer our assessment platform needed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andro B. | Frontend Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint tells us when someone is using a VPN, browsing in incognito mode, or when their browser has been tampered with. Those are signals we never would have been able to catch on our own, so we rely on the flags and act on them. The visitor ID stays consistent even when a candidate switches browsers, clears cookies, or signs up with a new email.

The best part is that we don’t have to configure anything. There are no rules to write, no lists to maintain, and no training required. We simply review what it reports about a candidate and take action, and it has been right almost every time.

Their web app is also straightforward to use. When I need to look up a single event, I paste the event ID into the dashboard and everything related to it like signals, device, browser, IP, and location appears together on one page.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Honestly, nothing specific comes to mind. We’ve been using it for a while now, and it’s just quietly done its job. It hasn’t crashed, it hasn’t unexpectedly changed its behavior on us, and on the few occasions we’ve had a question, the documentation was clear enough that we never needed to open a support ticket.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest issue for us is candidates cheating on our online tests. Fingerprint catches duplicate-device cases on its own and flags them in our recruiter dashboard, which helps us avoid trusting scores that shouldn’t be trusted. What we pay Fingerprint each year is small compared to what it protects.

Because the same response also gives us a rough location and the device, we can spot odd patterns, like a candidate saying they applied from one country but taking the test from another, without having to add a second tool just for that.

It also fits into the rest of our setup without creating noise. We pass the visitor ID into the tool we use to track errors, so when something breaks for a candidate, we know exactly which session to look at and don’t have to guess.

  ### 13. Accurate Device Intelligence That Cuts Fraud and Duplicate Accounts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishal P. | Senior Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

What I like most about Fingerprint is how accurately it identifies returning users and devices, even when cookies are cleared or users switch browsers. The implementation was straightforward thanks to the well-documented SDKs and APIs, and the response times have been consistently fast. It has significantly reduced duplicate accounts, fraud attempts, and manual verification work. The dashboard is easy to navigate, and the detailed device intelligence helps us make better risk decisions without impacting the user experience.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Overall, the product works very well, but the pricing can become expensive as usage scales. It would also be helpful to have more built-in analytics, reporting options, and customizable dashboards. Some advanced features have a learning curve for new users, although the documentation is comprehensive.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps us prevent fraud, identify repeat users, reduce fake account creation, and improve security without adding friction to legitimate users. Instead of relying only on cookies or IP addresses, we can identify devices much more reliably. This has reduced manual review time, improved trust in our platform, and helped us make faster decisions during onboarding and authentication.

  ### 14. Effortless Integration, High-Impact Risk Detection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Santos H. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I use Fingerprint to detect high risk and bot suspicious users. It makes it really simple to get all the data I need related to a user and their profile and device. It simplifies the integration complexity and adds a ton of value with its unique fingerprint feature for detecting high risk activities. The SDK was really easy to integrate into React Native and works great for iOS and Android. It provides a significant amount of rich data about the user and their device, and I'm able to use the data and signals it generates to integrate into workflows to detect high risk activity and mitigate risk. I continue to use Fingerprint because it offers rich high signal data when I need it. The initial setup was really easy, and I was able to integrate it within two days.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

N/A

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint simplifies detecting high-risk and bot users. It provides rich data on user profiles and devices, easing integration complexity. I use this data for detecting risk activities and mitigating them, making it valuable for my workflows.

  ### 15. Smooth integration, excellent support, clean product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David F. | Staff Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I really liked how the integration with Fingerprint was extremely smooth. Working with their technical integration specialists and the customer sales representative throughout the process was very enjoyable. I appreciated their transparency around pricing both on their site and in the calls. During a thirty-day pilot, we did a fairly in-depth audit and found the quality of Fingerprint's device fingerprinting to be extremely good, especially when compared to some competitors. The initial setup was extremely easy, with clean and clear documentation and portal. Any problems we encountered were swiftly handled by their very responsive integration specialist who was accessible via Slack.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

This is not a dislike, moreso, that Fingerprint is not a full-feature fraud provider, and does not bill itself as one. Building a model ourselves using internal data combined with their device ID to create a composite score for our specific sector is what we ultimately had to do to use this effectively. A lot of the smart signals that Fingerprint collects and exposes are not necessarily 100% correlated with fraud, which mean that the suspect score is helpful, but not the whole picture.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fingerprint for device fingerprinting. The integration was extremely smooth, and the quality of device fingerprinting is extremely good compared to competitors.

  ### 16. Seamless Integration, great data outcome

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro R. | iOS Engineer, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I like that Fingerprint.com is highly accurate and reliable for identifying visitors, even when they use VPNs, incognito mode, or clear cookies. The integration is straightforward, the API is easy to work with, and the documentation makes setup smooth. It also provides very detailed device intelligence, which helps a lot with fraud prevention, bot detection, and understanding user behavior. Overall, it’s a powerful tool that gives us consistent signals we can trust.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

It’s not really a downside, but Fingerprint collects a lot of data that can be hard to understand at first glance. It might be helpful to offer more targeted graphs and internal fraud scores that can be tailored to customer preferences, so the information is easier to interpret.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Capture signals to determine whether the same user is operating multiple accounts, so we can better understand and identify duplicate or linked profiles.

  ### 17. Fast, Stable, and Developer-Friendly API Platform with Clear Docs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shefali M. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

It was user-friendly as it was simple and quick to set up the environment process, and the dashboard navigation is easy. SDK integration is developer-friendly, and it also supports multiple technologies like JavaScript, React, and more. It gives very fast API response with low latency, It performs nicely and is stable even on high traffic applications. The free plan is helpful for testing and exploring the platform. Documentation is clear and easy to follow. It also detects suspicious activities and abnormal patterns in real time.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Scaling costs can be challenging for growing appliaction, High volumne API users should get some better pricing options or discounts, pricing becomes expensive when API usage increases.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It improves overall security and fraud prevention for applications, detects suspicious behaviour patterns in real time, it helped in identifying abnormal browser activity automatically.

  ### 18. Essential for Managing Duplicate Accounts

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luiz L. | Mobile Developer, Entertainment, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

We are using Fingerprint to locate users with duplicate accounts, and it provides us with easy identification of these accounts, allowing for more agility in bans and in keeping bans active on the platform. The ease of information persistence is a great benefit, because even if a banned user creates another account using a VPN, thanks to Fingerprint, we can identify and punish these offenders. I love the generous limits for Android on the free plan, as they offer a limit of 500,000 and we barely use 5,000 monthly. The ease of implementation is excellent; it's basically plug and play, everything is very well explained and easy to understand. Our development team didn't have the resources to pay for all the necessary tools, and the initial free plan from Fingerprint was essential, as we like companies that offer initial free services, even if limited. The initial setup was incredibly simple, it didn't even take 24 hours for everything to be up and running.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I believe that the limits for iOS and Web should not be shared. From my point of view, it would be better to have a specific limit for iOS and another for Web.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps us identify users with duplicate accounts, speeding up bans and keeping them effective. It solves the problem of information persistence, preventing banned users from creating new accounts using VPN.

  ### 19. Reliable Device Identification with Minimal Engineering Overhead

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Umakhan M. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint Pro gives us reliable device identification with minimal engineering overhead. We verify requestIds on the backend, which makes anti-abuse logic much safer than trusting client data alone. Custom subdomain proxying was a big win — better match rates and fewer blocked requests. Setup was fast, and the service has been stable in production.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Pricing can feel steep for early-stage products, and identification isn’t 100% reliable in every environment — adblockers, network issues, or SDK timeouts sometimes mean you need fallback logic instead of blocking users

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps us stop reward and referral abuse from users creating multiple accounts on the same device. With server-verified visitor IDs, we can safely offer welcome bonuses without losing budget to fraud, while keeping onboarding smooth for real users.

  ### 20. Fingerprint excels at detecting free trial scams and creating multiple accounts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Siddiq T. | Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

We started using Fingerprint to stop people from creating multiple accounts just to use our free trial again. It was easy to set up and started working right away. It detects VPNs, proxies and other suspicious signups, which has really helped us reduce fake accounts. We also like that it runs in the background without any extra work from our team.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

We haven't had any major issues so far. It would be nice if there were a few more reports in the dashboard to make it easier to understand the data.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Fingerprint some users were creating new accounts to get free access again and again. Now it's much easier to spot and block those attempts. This has helped us save time reduce misuse of our free trial and focus on real users instead of dealing with fake signups.

  ### 21. Easy to Use, Accurate, and Reliable for Assessment Integrity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mario B. | Co-Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

What I like most about Fingerprint is how easy it is to use while still being very precise. Setup is straightforward, the product feels reliable, and it helps us identify users and devices with a high level of accuracy. Overall, it gives us confidence in the results without getting in the way, keeping the experience smooth and simple.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Honestly, there is nothing significant that I dislike about Fingerprint. So far, it has been easy to use, reliable, and precise, so I do not have any major complaints.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps us prevent assessment cheating by accurately identifying users and devices. This allows us to detect suspicious behavior, reduce duplicate or fraudulent attempts, and keep our assessments fair and trustworthy. It benefits us by improving the integrity of our testing process and giving us more confidence in the results.

  ### 22. Secure, Easy Integration with Great Value and Solid Documentation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

It is easy to integrate, the way they designed the product is also as secure as it can be. You get a requestID from their front-end script, then you have to call their backend API from your backend to get the actual fingerprint. In addition, they also give you a lot of additional signals about the request. Similar functionality would be exponentially more expensive if you used a competitor. We are very happy with the value we get out of fingerprint. One final thing, their dashboard is intuitive, and the documentation is solid.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Haven't really run into any issues yet. Once our product takes off and volume increases, we may run into use cases that we have not seen before, but for our usage, no issues so far.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Proof of device ownership is the standard when it comes to security, so identifying a device and the metadata about the incoming request is extremely important for us. Fingerprint provided great value so far in that regard. It helps that the integration is well documented and straightforward,

  ### 23. Intuitive UI Enhances Security and Analytics Tracking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I really like how the UI and the overall dashboard in Fingerprint are very simple to use and intuitive. It makes the overall user experience very good compared to other tools I've seen. The easy adoption within my organization is another big plus because I don't need to onboard anyone. It's very helpful, almost like a sales tool. Also, the initial setup was extremely quick. I just needed to copy the SDK's code and put it into my coding agent, and it was done within ten minutes.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

The integration works well generally, but when the browser has an ad blocker enabled, there is some data loss that can be improved. There's a solution for that, but it's not user-friendly.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps to identify wrong or bad actors trying to perform security attacks and track user behavior on landing pages for analytics.

  ### 24. Reduced our chargebacks after dealing with credit card testers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eden B. | Co-Founder & CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Getting started with Fingerprint was incredibly easy - the documentation is clear and the initial setup took just minutes. What really stood out is the wide range of SDKs available, including Flutter, which made it simple to integrate into our mobile app without any friction.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

The pricing can feel a bit steep for smaller teams or early-stage projects. The jump from the free plan to the paid tier is significant, and a more flexible intermediate option would be welcome. Other than that, there are no major complaints - it does what it promises very well.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were dealing with card-testing fraud through Stripe, where bad actors were running small automated charges to validate stolen card details. Without reliable device fingerprinting, we had no practical way to connect these attempts across sessions, which led to unnecessary refunds and chargeable disputes that were costing us real money. Fingerprint addressed this by providing a consistent device identifier that still persists even when fraudsters clear cookies or switch browsers, so we can spot and block repeat offenders before any charge goes through.

I use Fingerprint to prevent promo code abuse and fake sign-ups by detecting users using VPNs and creating multiple accounts.

  ### 38. Smart Signals Give me real time device intelligence that goes beyond basic fingerprint

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Casey Joe C. | Freelance developer, Accounting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

What impressed me most about Fingerprint is the smart signals feature. It doesn't just identify devices; it tells me why a visitor is suspicious. The detection through virtual machines and incognato mode all come in a single api response, which helps me make the right decision about visitors. The smart signals give me a lot of data about visitors, and from a single api , I can know everything about them. This feature is crucial for catching abuse permissions. The initial setup was very easy, just like adding a JavaScript code to the head of my website and running it directly.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

I think the proxy detection in Fingerprint needs some improvement. It sometimes indicates that a visitor is using a proxy when they actually aren't.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps me identify returning visitors who clear cookies or use VPNs to bypass limits, reducing headless browser and scam abuse with minimal engineering effort.

  ### 39. Tool for detecting multi-accounts and verifying bots

Detecting multi-accounts and bots on my website.

  ### 40. Reliable Visitor Risk Insights with Fingerprint’s Suspect Score

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Will B. | Founding Engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint has very thorough information on visitor risks, which roll up into their "Suspect Score". We've found it reliable, and correlates with other signals from users.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Some of the initial integrations had documentation that I would like to see a bit clearer. Support did help once I reached out, though. The visitors table in the UI seems to get a filter stuck which is a bit annoying.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint has given us reliable at assessing visitor risk and identifying concerning features (ex: falsifying location, data center VMs versus consumer device). This has helped us power business decision with more accuracy

  ### 41. Enhances Risk Decision-Making Seamlessly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anup B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I find the accuracy and stability of the visitor identifier in Fingerprint impressive, even across sessions and app reinstalls. ### 42. Reliable Device Identification with Easy Integration for Fraud Prevention

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luka K. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint.js provides the most value through its reliable device/browser identification and easy integration. We use it regularly as part of fraud prevention and traffic quality analysis, and it helps us better understand whether multiple visits or events are coming from the same user/device even when cookies are limited or unavailable.

One of the biggest benefits is how quickly it can be integrated into a web app. The JavaScript SDK is straightforward, the API is easy to work with, and it fits well into existing frontend tracking or analytics flows. This saves development time compared to building and maintaining our own fingerprinting logic.

Performance has also been good in our use case. It runs on the client side without creating noticeable issues for the user experience, which is important because scripts like this often load on high-traffic pages.

The main ROI is better fraud detection and user recognition. It gives us more confidence when analyzing suspicious behavior, bot-like activity, repeated visits, or users trying to bypass standard cookie-based tracking. That makes it useful not only for security, but also for improving data quality in analytics and marketing workflows.

Support and documentation are also strong. The docs make it clear how to start, how to retrieve visitor IDs, and how to use the results in backend or analytics systems. Overall, it is a reliable and practical tool for identity, fraud prevention, and traffic intelligence.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint is very useful, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The pricing can become expensive as traffic volume grows, especially if you need to use it across multiple websites or high-volume environments.

Another limitation is that implementation still requires some technical planning. The basic JavaScript integration is simple, but getting the most value from it requires backend integration, proper event mapping, and clear decisions about how visitor IDs should be used in fraud prevention or analytics workflows.

Also, because fingerprinting depends on browser/device signals, it is not always a perfect identity solution. Privacy tools, browser restrictions, VPNs, and unusual device configurations can still affect accuracy, so it should be used as part of a broader fraud detection system rather than as the only signal.

Overall, I do not dislike the product itself, but I would like more flexible pricing, clearer implementation examples for advanced use cases, and even more transparency around confidence levels and edge cases.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps solve the problem of identifying repeat visitors and suspicious users when cookies or normal session tracking are not enough. This is especially useful for fraud prevention, bot detection, duplicate account detection, and traffic quality analysis.

The biggest benefit is that it gives us a more reliable visitor identifier across sessions, browsers, and changing cookie conditions. That helps us better understand whether multiple events are coming from the same device or user environment, instead of treating every visit as completely new.

It also improves our analytics and decision-making. By combining Fingerprint data with our own backend, tracking, and fraud-prevention logic, we can detect patterns like repeated suspicious visits, attempts to bypass tracking, or abnormal traffic behavior.

For us, the main benefit is better confidence in traffic quality. It helps reduce uncertainty, improves fraud investigation workflows, and supports more accurate decisions around user risk, campaign performance, and suspicious activity.

  ### 43. Best device ID accuracy we tested

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I use it for fraud prevention and multi-accounting detection, plus bot detection on incoming traffic. The stable device identifier lets us recognize the same device even when users clear cookies, switch networks, or browse in incognito mode, and the Smart Signals provide ready to use bot, VPN, and proxy indicators that feed directly into our blocking decisions.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Pricing scales quickly at high volume, so you have to be deliberate about which events actually trigger an identification call instead of firing it on every page load. A few of the newer Smart Signals are only available on higher tiers, and the dashboard could offer better filtering and export for investigating suspicious visitor patterns over longer time windows.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the core problem of recognizing returning devices when the usual signals are unreliable. Cookie based tracking breaks the moment someone clears storage or opens an incognito window, which is exactly what someone abusing free trials or creating duplicate accounts will do. Fingerprint gives us a persistent identifier that survives those resets, so we can link activity back to the same device and act on it.

The practical benefit is that we catch multi-accounting and automated traffic before it turns into real cost, without adding friction for legitimate users. We do not have to challenge everyone with extra verification steps, only the sessions that come back with genuinely suspicious signals like emulators, VPN plus tampering combinations, or bot detection hits. That kept our fraud losses down while keeping conversion intact, and it saved the engineering time we would otherwise spend building and maintaining our own detection heuristics.

  ### 44. Effortless Integration and Comprehensive Device Coverage, Needs Improved Root Detection

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harish S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I appreciate the ease of integration with Fingerprint, especially since the SDK is initialized with just a 5-line integration, and there's a simple choice of three regions instead of many confusing ones. I also love the reverse proxy option, which helped us achieve 100% device profile coverage by allowing us to route the DNS traffic for users behind private networks or firewalls. Additionally, the dashboard is great for showing key KPIs and trends, making it easy to monitor vulnerabilities with features like the smart signal. The initial setup was ultra easy thanks to the straightforward documentation. Fingerprint offers a clear view on dashboard regarding usage limits and access management.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Root detection seems very basic. Fingerprint doesn't detect Android's KernelSU level rooting and root hiding techniques. This area can be improved.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint identifies device manipulations to prevent account abuse and uniquely identifies devices even if reset. It handles vulnerable devices like jailbroken, rooted, or emulators effectively.

  ### 45. The Ultimate Solution for Blocking Spam and Unwanted Visitors, it's way better than any other

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rene M. | Solution Architect, Outsourcing/Offshoring, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint is one of the most accurate and privacy-conscious device identification solutions I’ve worked with. Its ability to recognize returning users—even after cookies are cleared or when browsers are in private mode—is especially valuable for fraud prevention and bot mitigation. Implementation is straightforward, the API documentation is clear, and the performance impact is minimal. What stands out most is how well it balances strong identification accuracy with a genuine commitment to transparency and compliance. Overall, it’s a robust option for modern anti-abuse and anti-spam needs.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Because the platform is quite technical, teams without dedicated engineering resources may need extra onboarding time to take full advantage of its capabilities. More advanced configuration and tuning also require some familiarity with fraud detection concepts. Pricing can scale with usage as well, so in high-traffic environments it’s important to plan implementation and monitoring carefully in order to maximize ROI.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint addresses the challenge of accurately identifying users and devices in environments where traditional tracking methods fall short. It helps reduce spam, account takeovers, fake signups, and other fraudulent activity by providing reliable device intelligence. As a result, platform security improves, revenue is better protected, and less operational time is spent investigating abuse. Overall, it supports a safer, more trustworthy user experience and stronger system integrity.

  ### 46. Accurate Device Intelligence with Straightforward Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandre S. | Developper, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Fingerprint.com has continued to be a reliable part of our fraud prevention stack. We run a rewards platform where detecting duplicate accounts, VPNs, and bot traffic is essential. Fingerprint's device identification accuracy remains consistently high, and we've seen very few false positives. The JavaScript agent is lightweight and doesn't noticeably impact page load times. We also appreciate the webhook and server API options, which let us run additional checks server-side before granting rewards. The dashboard has improved over time, making it easier to inspect visitor details and understand flagged signals. Also customer support has been responsive on the rare occasion we've reached out.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

The only area I'd love to see improve is pricing flexibility for growing startups. The jump from the free plan to the $99/month Pro tier can feel steep when you're still scaling. A lighter intermediate plan or a pay-as-you-go option would make it easier for smaller teams to grow into the product without hesitation. That said, the value at the Pro tier is solid once you reach the volume to justify it.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Fingerprint primarily for Fraud Detection and Bot Detection within a gaming reward ecosystem. It has quickly become a core component of our application, running on every significant user interaction to ensure integrity. The biggest challenge in the GPT space is users creating multiple accounts to farm rewards or using VPNs to bypass regional restrictions. Fingerprint solves this by accurately identifying devices even when users try to mask their identity. This benefits us by preventing financial loss from fraudulent payouts and ensuring our rewards go to actual, unique players.

  ### 47. A story that shows you how powerful Fingerprint is

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph O. | Computer Games, Computer Games, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I'm a web developer and I've been using Fingerprint for 15 days, both personally and professionally for a client, and it's been excellent so far. Let me tell you how it started.

My client, www.guinrank.com, is a website for writing SEO-optimized articles and much more. They offered a free trial, but
were experiencing excessive use of the free trial on their site. This was costing them a lot in Al API bills and putting a huge
strain on the server. The solution was to find something to stop this, so we used Fingerprint. It offered an unlimited free trial,This was very good for testing the service, and then we integrated it into our login page. We discovered that there were many accounts belonging to the same person, and we blocked them. This helped us solve the problem of the high AI API bill, as it decreased from $900 per month to $500.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

Everything was good, but their prices are high and support is slow and not available 24/7.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Disabling multiple accounts belonging to the same person results in savings of approximately $400 per month on API costs and improved quality for real users.

  ### 48. Fraud detection and Human user identification efficiently and effectively

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

There are many good features about using Fingerprint, few key points for consideration are -
1. Account abuse:
    - Distribution of harmful contents like spam, phishing, CSAI, terror, malware, etc. We want to block these users from creating additional accounts
    - Violation of Acceptable Use Policy: we want to drives abusers away from storage abuse, bandwidth abuse, referral abuse, etc.
2. Phishing/spam: Block sharing attempts from known abusers
3. Threat Intel: block account created by known threat actors
4. Payment fraud: block fraud payment attempt for known abusers; block frequent payment attempts for the same fingerprint
5. Users using Dropbox’s API for attacks such as Command and Control (CC)

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

There might be some privacy and user consent concerns for some users / regions as fingerprint works invisibly behind the scenes, many users don’t know they’re being tracked, but other than this the tool works very effectively.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We introduce Fingerprintdue to its
1. relative stability since it won’t change easily within months for the same device
2. hard to mimic due to large number of factors required to generate the fingerprint id (as an example font, browser version, hardware identifiers, platform, screensize and many more),
3. high coverage (90% in average). We will create a standalone service which can serve use cases not only for us but also for other use cases across the company.

  ### 49. Easy Integration, Accurate Fingerprinting, but Pricey at Scale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muddhit B. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

I really like how easy it is to integrate Fingerprint. The setup was super simple, just adding a few lines of code, and it was up and running in minutes. The UI is also very simple and helps me quickly access necessary data across months. Fingerprint's device fingerprinting accuracy is impressive and it effectively identifies repeat users, even if cookies are cleared or during incognito browsing. It's great for detecting common user fraud, preventing abuse, and managing multi-account detection with strong signals for fraud prevention.

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

So it's expensive at scale. There are some time false positives occasionally. And, yeah, mainly these two things.

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fingerprint helps me track different user types and IPs to protect my app's reputation. It provides real-time data for fast action, preventing bad traffic and security issues. The integration is easy, and it offers strong fraud prevention signals.

  ### 50. Reliable and Simple Unique Visitor ID Tracking That Works Well

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** A S. | Head of Fraud prevention, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Fingerprint?**

Its reliable and simple, we do not use all the features, mainly the unique visitor Id, which works well for us, especially for the mobile app users

**What do you dislike about Fingerprint?**

We have seen it failing to mark same device with same unqiue visitor ID, especially when desktop and mobile web as platformas are involved

**What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

mainly using for ATO prevention, and also multiple accounts by fradulent users. help us to catch groups of fradulent account
