The ability to schedule and send messages is fantastic. Group messages are designed well. If someone replies to a group message, it does send it back to everyone else. THERE ARE MANY REASONS WHY WE USE EZ TEXTING AT MY COMPANY THE MAIN TWO ARE HOW EASY IT IS TO USE AND HOW I CAN GROUP EMPLOYEES FOR DIFFERENT TEXT. MY COMPANY USES THIS DAILY FROM URGENT INFORMATION TO CELEBRATORY TEXT. I PUSHED FOR THIS FEATURE SO THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE TO PERSONALLY TEXT 100+ WHEN SOMETHING NEEDED TO BE SAID. THE EASE OF SETTING IT UP AND SHOWING OTHERS HOW EASY IT IS TO USE REALLY HELPED WITH EVERYONE GETTING ON BOARD. It makes it very convenient to send out text messages to a large group of clients at once. It's definitely convenient, efficient, and saves lots of time for us. I would say the only downside is still being charged a message credit for phone numbers that are not in service (because we don't know they're out of service and were only given numbers recently; it's also not uncommon for the type of clients we deal with to disconnect their numbers often). EZ Texting is a great platform. It has been the best option for communicating with all of our program recipents. I really enjoy that EZ texting allows us to send out both mass group and individual text messages. As well as have the option to reply to our recipents in real time. The process to integrate contacts into the system is also very easy with endless options for transfer whether you use an excel sheet or another online platform or file type. The customer support is top tier also! They help walk you through all the steps to get started effiencently and even follow up to help if you run into any problem with implementation. Our experience with EZ Texting has unfortunately been very disappointing. Five years ago, we purchased a significant number of credits from them with the assurance from their support team that these credits would not expire, provided we kept our plan active. Following this understanding, we diligently maintained our plan, fully expecting that our credits would be secure.
However, without any prior warning or notification, we recently discovered that our credits had expired. This was both surprising and frustrating, as EZ Texting’s own representatives had clearly communicated that no expiration would apply under our current terms. When we reached out to their support team for assistance, we were met with an unwillingness to help or even consider reissuing the credits. Their lack of accountability for this issue reflects poorly on their customer service and their commitment to customer satisfaction.
The cost implications are also significant. Repurchasing the expired credits would now amount to nearly $3,000 CAD, which is a considerable expense for any business. EZ Texting's refusal to honor their original commitment has left us feeling let down and concerned about the reliability of their services.
For anyone considering EZ Texting, be cautious about promises regarding credit expiration and prepared for the possibility of poor support if an issue arises. This experience has shown us that EZ Texting may not be the reliable partner they claim to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
