PayWithExtend is a very easy platform to use for virtual credit cards, both for administrators and end users. We set up over 90 virtual credit cards in our first year of using them and had no complaints from our employees. You can create a virtual credit card that is ready to use in under a minute. Employees can upload receipts for each transaction which is wonderful for our accounting team to have records of everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no functionality for payment approvals before a transaction is made. Available references can not be limited on budgets, which is problematic when you have many references on an account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I enjoyed having control over the spending limits.
With being an online card, I felt more comfortable sharing with my team members via Lass Pass.
Facebook has limits to how many orders can be attached to one card, so this was an amazing feature to have in 2024. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would have been helpful to have the virtual cards have their own statements, so the people using the virtual card could be responsible for itemizing the charges.
American Express customer service staff can not help with Extend. It is a pain, to have to call someone else to get help with Extend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Extend helps my company to better manage our cash flow and to track expenses by making it very easy to create Reloadable or 1 Off cards to pay for things we need. Its easy to do and saves the Operations teams alot of time and energy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At times its alot of clicking around in menus to figure out exactly what we need to do or where we need to find things. Could help with some simplicity in those areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For our monthly reconciliation of our Corporate Card, I am able to customize the date ranges I need to search and easily identify which virtual American Express card is used for the purchase. That way, I can then check with the virtual card user for receipts supporting the charges. Of course, we haven't yet utilized all of the features, like the 'receipt reminder' which would eliminate the need to contact users about every receipt. There are so many features that we haven't yet touched but will eventually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not identified anything that I dislike about Extend as it is a very helpful tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Extend is perfect for making AMEX virtual credit cards to prevent fraud in your business and manage separate expenses and accounts seamlessly. Customer support is quick to answer any questions. The API is user friendly and allows for increased utility and efficiency.
Extend also recently introduced bulk card deletions and shift-clicking to select multiple cards. These were previously my two major gripes, but now they're no longer a problem! Additionally, the UI is clean and it's very easy to start using. It is also easy to invite team members so they can access Extend's tools with the level of permissions you choose. It's incredible that Extend is free, and my only real annoyances were fixed recently. The site could be a bit faster, especially when downloading or uploading reports or files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Extend primarily for it's virtual cards.
1. I can set budget and the good until date for when the virtual card can be used by. Later, the system is flexible that I can update either the budget or the good until date. Extend will also track your setup and changes in the history tab.
2. The charges that run through the virtual card comes through in real time, and you can see it on their site. I've seen charges decline because it was over budget or it's past the good until date. I like this feature the best!
3. Reporting at the end of the month is super easy once you get used to the filtering, I'm able to run Extend reports to reconcile it back to the credit card statement easily.
4. My account manager, John Casiano, is the best to work with. And, super patient when I have issues. The Extend support team, Pam, is also very knowledgeable, and gets back to me within 24 hours.
Overall, Extend is pretty easy to setup and use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. In the beginning it was difficult to know if the issue arose from Extend or from the credit card institution. I've always found it helpful to ask Extend first and then they can point you to the right direction.
2. As the administrator/owner, my access is limited on virtual cards that others have setup.
3. They do not have a support number to call, so I've always had to email them with my questions.
4. Extend are digital virtual cards, not physical virtual cards Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
-Easy to implement from an administrator function -- creating/modifying/managing user virtual cards is simple.
-Extend effectively auto-declines suspicous charges and sends notification to card holder.
-Customer questions answered quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
-Extend's search function with transactions doesn't always work. If you search/filter by a vendor name or amount -- not all the relevant transactions will appear. However, if you export to CSV, the transactions can be effectively searched.
-There is no option for users to have a physical card with their virtual card information. Some virtual card merchants offer this service, but Extend does not yet offer that option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can see who purchased what without having to issue physical cards. It's easy to use. It's easy to add and remove users and cards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes we run into issues with car rental companies becuase they won't charge a virtual card. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Extend is so helpful in not only keeping our main credit card account numbers secure from fraudulent activity by creating virtual card numbers, but it also allows us to instantaneously catgorize each expense for budgeting and monthly stateent reconciliation. Highly recommend Extend for any business wanting to streamline their expenses and keep their card numbers secure.
The intiial implementation and intergration processes only took about 5 minutes to setup and the process of setting up a new v-card takes less than 1 minute. We utilize the services of Extend daily for multiple transactions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have not found any downsides or dislikes with Extend, it is so easy use and very quick to add, edit or inactivate v-cards on the fly. And because we have never had any issues , we have not any need to interact with Customer Service. But we anticipate that they would also be very helpful and efficient for a resolution if any issue were to arise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have been using Extend for over 3 years and it has been extremely helpful in controlling, monitoring and tracking AMEX transactions via Virtual Cards among our teams. It eases the burden of matching up charges with the appropriate client for expense reports because Extend allows the virtual card holders to assign job numbers and upload receipts for reference. Plus, the Extend team continues to improve UX by listening to customer feedback. Extend is a tool I'm glad to have in my shed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There have been no real downsides to Extend. If only we could require employees to upload receipts. :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The customer representative is very helpful and friendly. The company cares about customers' experience and feedback. We used Extend for Credit card expense reports. It is cost-friendly to start ups. The credit card connection works well and it is user friendly to attach receipts and submit expense reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are using Netsuite for bookkeeping. Extend does very well with Quickbooks and they are still working on Netsuite integration to make it better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
