It's a simple platform. The other CMMS systems we reviewed had extremely elaborate tools that would likely simply go unused based upon the need of our business and the skill level of the team interacting with it. Having the option for an unlimited number of users means that even our base level technicians can have ease of access to the platform without us having to review the P&L every time we have a new staff hire. This was a huge nuisance with our last platform and EWO solved for that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lack of custom report generation. As a person who subscribes wholeheartedly to a data driven approach, being able to manually custom make reports would be a huge improvement on the experience with EWO. However, the other tools in the system are more than adequate for operating the business and any custom reporting we may need can be done by customer service. Very functional, straightforward implementation and integration, import and export features, excellent uptime, ease of use in the field for my staff, and responsive and effective tech support—we have used eWorkOrders daily since 2017, producing over 27,000 work orders in that time frame. The only negative I have seen is if you are in a hostile environment and can't take a tablet or phone within the setting you are completing a PM, the technician may have to make several trips back and forth to complete a checklist if they do not have it memorised. But, you can print it off and take the copy with you and then complete it electronically when finished. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One standout feature is the automated notifications and reminders. We no longer have to follow up with technicians or worry about missed deadlines manually. One primary concern is the learning curve associated with using the software. For those not tech-savvy or accustomed to working with digital tools, it may take some time and effort to become comfortable with the software's features and functionalities.
