What do you like best about EVOTIX?

We have utilized the Health, Safety & Environmental components for many years. The system is user friendly and provides tremendous value in tracking our HSE leading and lagging indicators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is EVOTIX solving and how is that benefiting you?

When I first began my career in HSE, we were tracking only lagging indicators in an old "in-house" database. We tracked only the numbers...number of injuries, number of spills, number of motor vehicle incidents, etc... There was no opportunity for learning because there were no details surrounding the information. SAI Global has allowed us to expand the information we collect, and, most importantly, we can now do trending on the information collected. What do you like best about EVOTIX?

The capability to implement the whole spectrum of GRC processes and the flexibility with the technical implementation of business requirements i.e. using the workflow capabilities and event triggers. The application provides an extensive amount of capabilities and since the introduction of the so called 'solution navigator' it contains a modern user interface - which is much appealing to end users. Furthermore, the easiness of integrating with data providers/data sources and reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI for business wide adoption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EVOTIX?

With the introduction of new functionalities or addons it seems like the focus is moved away from functionalities which are typically received very well, are most used, and have been te reason to start using the application in the first place. For example, the original Internal Control scheduling functionality is what is being used a lot, I've not seen many new developments - I do however have seen a completely new functionality "one assessment type" which should be replacing this. Not to my personal liking. Overall, not many aspects I dislike and I'm very enthousiastic about the application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is EVOTIX solving and how is that benefiting you?

The whole spectrum of GRC processes: Internal Control, Operational Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, Third Party Risk Management, Incident Management, Issue and Action Management, Policy Management and many more. What do you like best about EVOTIX?

What do you dislike about EVOTIX?

Some functionality seem not properly tested by Sai Global and therefore not working optimal which results in extra configuration needed to create work-arounds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is EVOTIX solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are using BWise 5.5 for Issue Management and Control Assessment. It is now far easier to have relevant information there where it is needed. Scoping assessments is inside the GRC environment instead of in excel sheets. Control Assessments triggered based on scheduled instead of adhoc. All relevant information is there in the assessment forms. Easy overview of the task and a task can be started with one click instead of going through menus. Very task oriented which also helps with the business change management (easy to understand what needs to be done and how it needs to be done) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about EVOTIX?

The ability to adapt the tools to match our companies processes is phenomenal. We have been able to build our existing work flows into the system. The support from the vendor is great, they work with the client to find solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EVOTIX?

Nothing with the product or the support. What is frustrating is the time it takes for all the managers and directors in our businesses to agree to implement additional functionality and modules available from SAI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is EVOTIX solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use the system to report incidents and document the investigation findings and corrective actions implemented, the database enables us to identify problematic trends and take appropriate action. We also use the system to manage change, including the risk review, and tracking of actions to implement the change. Identified risks are also reported and manged to mitigation with the system. Risk mitigating actions from other risk identification sources, such as PHA, audits, inspections, etc are tracked in the system, providing a view of which risks are awaiting final mitigation. What do you like best about EVOTIX?

Ability to make minor config changes in house with little dependability on support. Good foundations for majority of the modules available with a standard config available to either customize or roll with. Easy to use with simple work flows for the most part. Its been very useful to have such a diverse amount of information stored in the one easy to access place with the use of an app for remote users extremely useful in our work industry. What do you dislike about EVOTIX?

What do you like best about EVOTIX?

SAI response to feedback and continuous improvement drive - SAI never rest on their laurels and are always looking for new ways to make the lives of customers and subscribers easier. The people that work at SAI are knowledgeable, friendly and an absolute pleasure to deal with and in my opinion are the greatest strength of SAI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EVOTIX?

SAI have recently experienced rapid growth. While the people that are there always work hard to resolve issues and do their absolute best at all times, sometimes they seem to be under-resourced and certain issues may take longer than expected to resolve. I would love to see management put on some more resources so the existing staff are not so stretched. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is EVOTIX solving and how is that benefiting you?

As SAI continues to improve the platform and review and act on feedback from customers, we are finding fewer and fewer problems! Benefits include the overall intuitive nature of the platform, meaning we can be relatively light touch with our training.

Problems of centralised admin support for the database are resolved through the use of various second tier admin security roles which allows system admin to focus on major projects and business relationships.

The solution is extremely flexible which actually puts the power to solve problems at the hands of the customer, without having to rely on SAI to provide support at additional expense - this is key and allows us to be nimble in how we respond to business unit requirements and issues. What do you like best about EVOTIX?

When requesting small project changes, the team take too long with responding.

I struggle to understand the possibilities with aspects of the product, particularly the BI module.

I would add that you will get a broadly configurable product but do look to adopt the out of box toolset where possible with minimal configuration. We originally added a complex set of fields to suit the business but a number of years later, have reverted back to out of box functionality which is proven to work across the industry. What do you like best about EVOTIX?

The system is not as intuitive as I would like. I have a small staff that can't dedicate enough time to learn the ins and outs thereby causing us to be highly dependent on their professional services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering EVOTIX:

This system will pay big dividends through efficiencies while providing more insight into risks and operations than previously attainable. I highly recommend that if you are new to the system, that you utilize SAI support and professional services. Choose one use case and run it through the full cycle from Identifying assets and scope to reporting and metrics, then determine your rate and skill at expanding to additional use cases. Do not attempt your biggest most complex solution as your first one. Involve other departments from the start and have them experience your early wins. What problems is EVOTIX solving and how is that benefiting you?

Risk Management and Corrective Action Planning, annual compliance and security attestations, policy management, incident management, security exception management, application and third party assessments and management, HITRUST certification compliance, and others.

What do you like best about EVOTIX?

A lot of capabilities in the configuration of the system. Automated Notifications. Audit Trail. Workflow building capabilities.Admin training documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EVOTIX?

The visual interface (look & feel) feels outdated & overly complicated. There is no distinction between the polished end result and the admin configuration.

Processes to configure & implement a new module could use improvement. The success of implementation is based on the experience of the consultant assigned. Lack of critical thinking skills & problem-solving from the consultant leads to difficult implementation.

The automation of Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, & Universal Assessment. Continued management of New Laws & Regs and Customer & Regulatory Complaints.
