What I love about ETQ Reliance QMS is how easy it makes everything. It’s super customizable, so you can tweak it to fit exactly what you need, which saves a ton of hassle. Everything’s in one place—document control, CAPA, you name it—so you’re not jumping between systems. Plus, it’s really user-friendly, which means the whole team can get the hang of it without feeling overwhelmed. It just makes managing quality so much easier. What I dislike about ETQ Reliance QMS is that the customization options, while powerful, can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming, especially for new users. Setting up complex workflows might require extra time or help from support. Also, the system can occasionally feel a little slow when handling large amounts of data, which can be frustrating during busy times. A bit more streamlining in these areas would make it even better. As a Reliance Administrator, I love how scalable and customizable ETQ Reliance is. I can create or modify fields, views, and notifications. I can even develop custom modules within the applications, ALL WITHOUT BEING A PROGRAMMER! I can also integrate data from other modules within Reliance or from other external applications. Reliance is, by far, the best database front end I've ever worked with! I also appreciate their "User Voice" feature that allows users to make and track suggestions for future application changes. I dislike the use of several software languages throughout the system (sql, python, etqscript). It's sometimes difficult to know when to use which language. The data entry of the new user interface isn't as user friendly as prior versions, but ETQ is working to improve that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a one stop shop for our Quality, Environmental and Safety systems. We have implemented several of the modules including, CAPA CI, Change Management, Records, Document Control, Meeting Minutes, Centralized Reporting, Incident Reporting, Observation Records, Task Management, and Permit Control. We have customized most of the modules we use which is a benefit and one of the reasons we chose ETQ many years ago.
Reliance is used by many team members on daily basis. Being able to use single sign-on has been a significant benefit to our team members as well. I have worked with ETQ products for years and truly appreciate the customer support which has helped in the ease of integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For someone that doesn't have an IT background the designer is a bit confusing however the ETQ Academy training, community and customer support has been a big help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think the system is relatively easy to use. I like the community access (ETQ Campus), and the live videos/webinars. Staff are knowledgable and easy to work with when you run into an a question. I use the system on a daily basis, its a major portion of my job. Once fully implemented, I can see it adding value to our work processes. The mobile accessibility is a huge perk, staff can access the system while traveling for work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the fact that there isnt a general overview document/index tied to the search bar with the basic information that comes with install. An index with definition of the fields/sections purposes. It would aid in building up our configuation specification documents when adding new features to the system. I understand that the system is built for our needs, but I am talking about the general fields and functions that come rather standard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The flexibility afforded by the framework - by that I not only mean the configuration of the documents, and workflows but the ability to expand the functionality using a popular, well understood script language. The solutions provided within the application are meaningful to the use cases they serve, and their impact is further enhanced by the ability to create new functionalities , interactions and integrations in a manner that can be well maintained. Here at Applied Medical, we have expanded the breadth of automations provided by existing EtQ Modules in a manner that is easy to maintain, train to, expand while meeting our strict software development validation standards. EtQ's underlying technologies have made allowed us to seamlessly integrate these enhanced automations within our software development lifecycle. Allowing us to develop meaningful , impactful solutions to our customers. Here are some examples - using Python to leverage Restful integrations with SAP allowing us to perform an ETL function ensuring the data is harmonized across SAP and EtQ. Automating the creation of tasks again using Python and EtQ's task profiles, creating advanced Views for the users to quickly glance and navigate the current states of their systems. Leverage the wealth of options allowable for user interfaces - such as using Views as a means to select items within a drop down (an amazing feature that improved our Complaints Module compliance with recent MDR IMDRF efforts). EtQ is so confident in the effectiveness and pertinence of their solutions, that they open up their entire ecosystem for us to explore and leverage when advancing our interests. Its refreshing and inspiring - EtQ hands you the keys and asks you to go wherever your imagination wants and the business needs, and they will be there each step of the way. Their consultants act as teachers , facilitators , and their customer service representatives are well versed in our industries , making each conversation fruitful and engaging. It all feels like one Company, Applied Medical and EtQ. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Exploring the avenues that allow for enhanced functionality tailored to our use cases requires patience, its an incremental approach that may lead to some frustration based on how well documented some techological concepts are ... but the answer will be forthcoming. The answer is there, and EtQ will find it. As with all software development, it is critical that the added business logic and software constructs be documented and maintained. Wish EtQ could help a bit more with that, but its minor hiccup in an otherwise world class product and framework. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

EtQ is providing inbuilt API and help tools to development new forms, views, workflows etc.
It is providing better error log technique to handle errors in script.
Providing multi language functionality. We can easily create new documents, new views, new work flows.
Also, it is providing best user authentication functionality with groups. It is providing easy way to customize access profile for rest/sap web services. We can create multiple localization files to view content in local language for logged users. We can check current logged user and make them logout by forcefully during critical time. It is not allowing to update closed document without routing to open phase using new REST/SAP web services.
Sometime syncing base localization file in localization profile, it gives error that "It is already in use". During the view creation sometime when we drag and drop column it is gives error like column design name is not available, we have to work with EtQ support to clear cache and restart instance to resolve issue. The icons for the modules are nice, but thats really about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface is not user friendly, granted its very customizable but there are a bunch of better options on the market. EtQ is not a product that anyone can sign into and learn how to use the sytem. It must be taught to the person and even then alot of our internal employes find it very hard to use. The customer support is not quick or helpful. We currently have had our system down for a two weeks and we have had very little help from EtQ to get it back up. We have 1 support case open and 1 service case open and neither have been answered for a fatal issue where our entire system is down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
-Fairly easy to use,
-Implimentation for a module I helped with I would say was very tideous, but I believe it was due to the team we had at the time.
-Customer service is always very fast to help Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
-Some settings/items to me do not make any sense as far as easy to use.
-Training managment module I feel needs improvement overall, it's very "this is the only way to do this" and it's not easy to work with as far as getting taining records (download one by one) and there is no simple way to see someones traning plan and to see if they trained to everything in their plans. (Cross check) without a very manual process.
- I use the training module daily, so I would really like for it to be improved. Most places like to cross check training for audit purposes/company compliance and right now the set settings out of the gate are not set up that way. And I understand ETQ is a business but if this is possible, and we have to pay for help to do this it is fairly frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reliance allows their customers to own their eQMS. Being allowed to design and customize everything to your liking in ETQ is an amazing and powerful tool to have. On top of that, the support provided by ETQ is also very reliable and responsive when any questions or assistance is required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have no complaints with ETQ, as the platform provides many features. I would like to see improvements with the mobile app to be able to use it as a "kiosk" style. The website has an "anonymous" login, whereas the mobile (tablet/phone) does not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One of the benefits of ETQ is that all the applications have the same general interface. Once you become accustomed to the interface, using all the other applications is much easier. I also appreciate the ability to design the system the way your own team uses it whether it is in specific forms or creating and editing views. The out-of-the-box experience is good as you can use many of the applications without making changes. The initial set up is very good! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We need the ability to create our own reports that are more robust. Right now the Centralized Reports application is relatively useless as it only shows counts and cannot handle more sophisticated reports that you can develop in PowerBI. An easy way to pull data from the system would be better if there is no significant plan to upgrade the Central Reporting app. That way users can pull the data into PowerBI and create their own reports.
