The quality of their e-commerce data is extremely high. Very affordable pricing for what is available.
The support team and onboarding experience have been incredible. That is not always a guarantee with database vendors, but with eTail they took our feedback and implemented it right away. I really appreciate our CSM rep always responding same-day to my questions and being extremely knowledgeable.
The upsides of using eTail is that we are finding strategic decision makers at our target accounts who we could not find in Zoominfo for years. I think its very telling that eTail can find those people more accurately than Zoominfo. We use both tools hand in hand, but eTail is our GO TO for e-commerce data, specifically Total Online Sales each year.
The Salesforce integration is also very strong. This is also not a guarantee in every database, but eTail prioritizes it and it works great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the UX is a little dated, but it hasn't been a complaint from my end users as far as not being able to leverage the data.
I also don't understand why 4 points are necessary for exporting a Contact. But eTail made it easy to add more points when we were running low, so I can't complain! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Etailinsights is by far the best platform for grabbing etail specific company data. We looked at 5 of their top competitors and none even came close. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We've been a long-time customer and have cherished every improvement they've made to the platform. The information they validate is rarely outdated or wrong. Having experienced tons of data suppliers, there are few that I can make that claim for. Best of all, they are all about customer service -- you're not another number; you're not less important because they have larger accounts. And have a suggestion for improvement? They listen in earnest, asking you the who/how and whys. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's not perfect and the platform can always be improved -- deeper data, more seamless integrations with CRMs, etc, etc, etc. It's the nature of the beast. Also, they have a relatively small database of merchants. Sure wish it were more comprehensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Platform contains basic, compiled information, much of which you can research with other free online tools. Contact details for prospecting is typically outdated or generic, such as switchboards, not direct dials or email. There is no trend analysis for compiling list of emerging companies in a segment/vertical you are researching. For the most part, the details are lagging.
Lastly, let the buyer beware. The contract auto-renews on your credit card annually. The company does its best to hide behind the auto-renewal process and terms. Good luck cancelling the service if you don't have an attorney. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
