I love the fact I can see if someone has opened my emails, clicked them etc. The "Track" section helps me know where to spend my time (if someone doesn't respond to emails I know to go to LinkedIn to try them there. I am also not wasting time following up with candidates because Entelo does it for me.
It is the best tool I've found so far for surfacing diverse candidates, this is the number one reason I'm a fan Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI could be a bit cleaner/easier to understand.
- a candidate's page is very busy so I don't even look at them on Entelo anymore. Too many emojis, different fonts, etc that my eye can't comprehend what's going on on the page so I find them here, then go to LinkedIn to look at them (I have some form of adhd or something where if its too busy/messy I can't absorb it and won't read it, so I need it to be clean) All of the info is useful, I would just like to see it laid out differently.
I don't like that when I send candidates to a hiring manager for review, I cannot sort by their responses. Example, I would like to go into a project and sort by "reviewed" then sort by "Thumbs up or Thumbs down" currently, from what I can tell, I have to eyeball it to see that the response was and take action. Frankly, I stopped using Entelo for HM review, I went back to LinkedIn because its friendlier and easier for me to take action on. So now I use a combo of Entelo and LinkedIn
I would like to be able to sort inside a project by status, example contacted candidates. Now I have the option to tag someone as contacted but I can't sort by tag, so Entelo projets is almost useless for me. It would be nice if it functioned more like LinkedIn projects so I can take action better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The recommendations for similar candidate profiles. Giving you a variety when completing different searches. Also the ability to hide candidates you previously viewed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There haven't been many new features added within the last few years. Everything has been the same. A lot of the time their profile is invalid as well which I wish they updated more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In 25 years of recruiting, I’ve found no better talent engagement tool than entelo. The ability to search easily using the browser plug in, easily keep track of prospects, and then contact, and see the analytics of engagement is incredibly empowering. Entelo removes the blind spots and often the intensive data entry involved in pro-actively engaging passive talent. Since adding the features for “Send on behalf,” and the hiring manager interactive ability to review prospects, makes Entelo a MUST HAVE for creating a truly collaborative and actionable experience between hiring leaders and their recruiting teams. There is an awesome feature to "request review" from non-seat holding colleagues. This can be other employees, hiring leaders, execs, etc..., and does not require them to login, and captures a thumbs up, thumbs down vote. This is an amazing collaborative tool. One exec said, "OMG, I did that in minutes, and it is so much better than tracking in spreadsheets and docs!"
However, the next line of feedback is that they were unable to leave comments for each prospect. It is our life's mission to get hiring leaders to give feedback, both on you they're interested in, and who they're not. entelo enticed a C level exec to want to give feedback, but the system wasn't prepared to take it. For this reason, this particular customer experience falls a bit short, but I have confidence they will fix this.
On the whole though, the request for review is a great feature. Once someone has reviewed the prospect it will show in the record, giving you a quick view of what has already happened and interest from reviewers. This is great, and adding on the ability to give feedback would make it an amazing collaboration game changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Since 2013, I've been using Entelo. In between, I have used LinkedIn Recruiter, Aevy, Gem, Hired, Vettery, Indeed Prime, Underdog.io and demoed many, many others. Entelo's ability to automate, embed links... their diversity filters... integrations with applicant tracking systems like Greenhouse and Lever... their value and world-class support... I would appreciate additional diversity filters for other underrepresented groups, such as LGBTQ, persons with disabilities, and Native Americans. I know they will come in time, but given the attention diversity in the workplace receives, this can't come soon enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Entelo essentially pre-populates boolean strings which makes it easy to use for all users. I appreciate the "highlights" which allow me to filter candidates by unicorn company, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have found that the email scrapers isn't as accurate as other programs. Additionally, I don't like that there are a limited # of emails you can scrape. Additionally, I wish it more seamlessly worked with our ATS, Lever. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Entelo presents a broad view of the candidate's online presence across several platforms and digests them into an easy-to-use visual format. The enhanced diversity filters and robust highlights list allow us to drill down to see if the person has listed in their online presence a security clearance, diversity programming, affiliation with HBCUs, and Greek organizations serving underrepresented populations. We can see more of the person's background than just their resume which may or may not include key experiences that we are looking for. It makes the candidate search more personalized.
Also, in most cases Entelo can provide the person's contact information - something I haven't seen on other platforms like LI. This has been a game-changer for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The system has a high number of specialties and keywords to select from, but for some roles in our highly specialized industry (aerospace) we have to be creative and look for adjacent skills that may not truly reflect what we're looking for. With time I believe we will become more efficient at this.
Features we would like to see developed more:
- Seeing all sent messages in one place vs. only in the candidate's profile
- "Source Similar Candidates" does not allow us to exclude companies from the search results or add keywords Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have had a positive experience using Entelo. I like the search and tracking options, and it also finds email addresses for most of the candidates. Outreach is very easy. It also notifies when the person opens your email. I like the entelo google chrome extension on my LinkedIn page that helps me in sending emails to the candidates instantly. I can easily prepare email drip campaigns. The new Talent Insights provides a lot of strategic information on data. I also like DE&I webinars that Entelo hosts and the candidate insights have the diversity option that highlights individuals from underrepresented groups like gender, veterans, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
