It is easy to run reports and get data. The user interface is simple and clean. It is easy and intuitive to navigate around the site. The process of enrolling and reviewing benefits options is easy for staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I expect there to be more documents uploaded for reference - plan info, instructions for admin, instructions for staff. There isn't a lot of self-serve for troubleshooting problems or answering questions. The Administration override dates are not clear on how they should be used and again, I wish there was more documentation on what the effect of changing/using different fields is on the administration side. There are some screens where you can edit fields and it isn't clear whether changes have been saved. It saves automatically but it would be nice to have a visual confirmation of that. Very easy to make a benefits selection as an employee. The platform is very user-friendly. I can find benefit information within seconds! I can also re-direct employees to find the same information on the platform. The platform is very easy to use when assigning benefits to new hires. The progress or enrollment status also helps HR to keep track of those pending enrollments needed to be completed.

Open enrollment (benefit rollover) settings are weird and do not always sync correctly. We had an issue during open enrollment where some information was supposed to rollover to the next year, but the reflected information on Ease did not reflect that.

As a company that was still using paper, EASE has provided a great database to store employee information and benefits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the data in the EDI feed to carriers dos not match sometimes, but that is a minor dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a seamless connection between the broker and our employees using the site. Our broker can add in all the plans and pricing; our employees get a first-rate experienced picking their benefits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like the employer to have some of the access only a broker has so we can update files quicker and not rely on them for every little detail Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I find most helpful is how easy the system is to use and the custom reporting. We use the enrollment tools and reporting. Compared to other competitors, I feel that I would recommend ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am newer to ease so I do not have an opinion of what the product does not have. As far as how it could be better from talking to my peers, it would help to shoe the current enrollments during an open enrollment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very strong support for Brokers & Plan Administrators
The simplicity of creating benefit plans and setting up a new client Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reporting is limited. A Custom Report cannot be shared with the Client. A lot of reports cannot be run for a specific time period.
No Medical Carrier connections or EDI's yet.
Very limited payroll company connection offering.
Also would very much like to see previous year's Employee Benefit Summary Report (or after an employer termination) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being able to see last year's selections when making this decisions for open enrollment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The site times out very quickly. Having to log back in can be a tad inconvenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The view/aesthetics of the platform was nice. When going through the screens, the questions I may have had were answered somewhere on the screen. It allows the employee to do some exploration, while not getting too far into the weeds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There wasn't anything that I didn't like about the platform itself. However, there were some interface issues between the desktop platform and the mobile app platform - I couldn't complete my Open Enrollment on the desktop because of a glitch in the system, but on the app I could. It has been simple to use and it walks our staff through each step! Have been able to go virtual with benefits instead of holding in-person enrollment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the emails get lost in people's junk mail or they can't find them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
