We loved that we were able to customize Certify to our companies needs. We don't have a typical approval process and Certify was the only company who said they could help us - AND THEY DID! My only issue with Emburse Certify is billing. It is near impossible to get a hold of a billing specialist, and when you do, you don't get the same person twice. I've needed help for almost a full year now - and I have been trying to PAY the bills. But every time I respone to an email it just goes to a "pool" and it's never the same person answering. I've had to re-explain things more times than I'd like to count. I still don't know if we are at a zero balance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I manage the bookkeeping for a Non-profit with a staff of about 25. We have 17 credit card holders. Certify helps us keep track of our credit card use, stores receipts and syncs with our financial software. They were easy to work with in setting up the exact type of information I needed so that I could easily upload expense reports directly in to my accounting software. I LOVE it! When submitting an expense report, the submit button must be clicked multiple times (through 2 or three screens). This causes some employees to think they have submitted a report when they have not yet completed the process. We love the simplicity of the system. Once we were onboarded and synced with our Quick Books, we have rarely needed further assistance from Certify. We were looking for a solution to more effectively meet the needs of our hybrid staff as our previous system required paper trails. In addition to saving paper, moving approvals online increased speed, facilitates referencing past expenses, and improved our overall record keeping of expenses, invoices, and approvals. We have not experienced much in the form of downside. I guess getting a live person to assist with issues post-onboarding - but we have only had minor issues and they have typically been solved by help articles or submitting tickets in relatively short time frames. The user experience is quite easy. Also, you can add tons of custom tags and segments to capture data about the different expenses. They put a lot of work into making great integrations so it will likely tie into any type of accounting system or credit card system that you are using. I keep asking for help to have someone from Certify talk through if I am maximing the use of my Certify system. I am not sure if they have someone who can help me with this because the only advice they offer seems to be to buy additional services, which are great, but not necessarily what I am asking for. There are a few issues with regards to it picking up the data that is on the receipt correctly. It also overrides information put into the receipt if 1 small thing doesn't match up perfectly. We also have issues with it saying there are duplicate charges when there is not as we have people who book hotels for multiple people at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
