We use Emburse Certify through our HR partner and have been thoroughly impressed with the ease of onboarding and use in our organization. It takes no time at all to train our employees, it is easy to navigate and make changes, run reports, track spending, AND integrate with so many other items. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Support for both direct credit card transaction feeds and for direct "cash" entry. The combination covers the majority of our use cases.
The mobile app works pretty well. The receipt image scans often cannot find the total leading to manual corrections. Mobile app primarily used to capture receipts at the transaction point. The rules for matching a vendor name and/or MCC to classification fields are not precise. The MCC codes from the vendor are a mixed bag. Further, individual transactions may be for a variety of different expenses. Leading examples are purchases from Amazon (many different expense types), Home Depot (supplies vs repairs), Walmart (groceries, clothing). We've asked our bank for Level III, line item detail, but not succeeded in passing this to Certify yet (may be bank issue). Also, MCC codes do not appear to be included in extracts through the API. Not dislike, but I'd like to see an enhancement so that users would be able to select multiple dates within the expense/mileage feature. For example, I run to grab mail every weekday of any given month so I'd like to be able to avoid creating each expense day by day for the entire month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Emburse formerly Certify Expense allows the user total control of the expense report. It is very user friendly and it has everything required to submit a quality report. I would recommend this product to all friends and family. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We went with Certify because we have multi-entities (over 130 companies) and we have credit card charges and employee reimbursments that need to be allocated correctly to tons of entities. Certify allows us to do that! We can charge classes, locations, projects and everything. We are able to have approvers and set rules for our employees. We are also able to pay our employees for reimbursments via ACH with the click of a button. This has taken out countless hours of manual data entry. I cannot recommend it enough! So far, the mobile app is my only real complaint. It seems to be pretty bare minimum so I recommend users to only use it for capturing receipts and to do their expense reports on the computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
