What do you like best about Eagle Eye Networks?

It's cloud functionality and ease of setup with their bridge and CMVR devices. There is very minimal setup. It strives very hard to be plug and play Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eagle Eye Networks?

I think they strive a bit too hard to be plug and play with minimal setup. This leaves integrators in a tough spot sometimes with their customers when we put equipment on their network and it doesn't work immediately because there is some configuration on their network that needs to be done. This configuration isn't readily available and you need to get with support to find it out. Even then their support shys away from helping when it comes to configuring a clients network. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Eagle Eye Networks solving and how is that benefiting you?

The ease of access to live cameras, recordings, and analytics due to the cloud and the ease of integration is greatly beneficial. As well as their well done online university training helps get to the point of being a certified integrator easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Eagle Eye Networks?

I probably like the app the best. In an industry plagued by terrible apps and customer experiences, Eagle Eye has hands down the best app experience I've seen. I also like the experience on the installer end, it is easy to use and set up and when you do need it, tech support has been great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eagle Eye Networks?

Early on, their bridges seemed to have some quality control issues. They were always quick to RMA and get a replacement out but I did go through a few. It seems as though they have resolved this, though, as I have not had one go bad in some time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Eagle Eye Networks solving and how is that benefiting you?

They have made a great customer-facing app in an industry plagued by terrible apps. Theirs is easily the best I've used and if I were to install cameras in my own home or business it is what I would use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eagle Eye Networks?

Three years ago, when we started using their products, we had a few bridges that failed. That hasn't happened in a long time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Eagle Eye Networks solving and how is that benefiting you?

New robust bridges, new VMS features, and lots of new integrations. People are asking for more integration and ease of use, and that's where Eagle Eye shines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Eagle Eye Networks?

It's an affordable product that typically works well. Even the CMVRs are much, much more cost-effective than a traditional turn-key NVR from other manufacturers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eagle Eye Networks?

Generally we have had very good experiences with Eagle Eye, but in the past year or so we have repeatedly run into software/firmware issues, issues with switch modules inside of bridges/CMVRs (to the point where we do not sell those particular SKUs anymore), and inconsistent tech support experiences (sometimes we'll talk to 3 different techs on a support ticket and the 3rd one will have a quick and easy solution, raising the question of why were the first 2 not aware of said solution?)

The online training materials could use a proofread/update. Some of the questions, particularly relating to CMVR HDD capacity, were blatantly incorrect when compared to current EEN marketing materials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Eagle Eye Networks solving and how is that benefiting you?

For years we sold an on-premise surveillance solution that was difficult to remotely manage and support. Eagle Eye has made that much easier, and by all accounts, has given a better end-user experience as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Eagle Eye Networks?

Constant innovation of existing technology. Eagle Eye is constantly looking for new approaches in an industry with a lot of complacencies. The ability to tell customers about upcoming and revolutionary technologies in the pipeline is a powerful selling tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eagle Eye Networks?

The lack of a non-subscription based model can be a difficult thing to overcome in the economy hotel sector. The ability for a simple plug and leave, CMVR could bring a new sector of customers to the table. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Eagle Eye Networks solving and how is that benefiting you?

Portfolio surveillance with relevant technology. Portfolio accounts having the ability to view and manage all of their properties through a single pane of glass was a game changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Eagle Eye Networks?

The app is easy to use and the website to administer accounts is easy. I like that it quickly pulls a lower quality live stream and then after a few seconds pulls up the high quality view. It seems faster than other similar apps I've used from other manufacturers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eagle Eye Networks?

Camera selection from Eagle Eye is a little subpar. But the software does support a wide range of cameras from other manufacturers. Also some customers have been confused about downloading and storing clips offline and the process to do so. EEN saves the clip in a queue for downloading but some customers have assumed that the clip is downloaded when they click the download button initially. The software does notify you when the clip is ready for download but some users have overlooked the notification. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Eagle Eye Networks solving and how is that benefiting you?

Cloud recording is the future and many customers have asked for it or are open to the idea. It is much easier than configuring storage for an onsite NVR upfront. Also hard drives fail eventually and it is costly to replace them in NVRs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My company hadn't had a cloud service solution until we partnered with Eagle Eye. Also, even if the customer needs onsite storage, the cloud platform is excellent for multisite companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Eagle Eye Networks?

I appreciate how easy it really is to set up any number of cameras to their systems. So many others have the most convoluted process to get set up, EEN takes that away. Each piece of hardware has the correct amount of instructions and very clear to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eagle Eye Networks?

The online portal doesn't have quite as much customization as I like that a few competitors offer. When setting up a few analytics it was a little hard to do so and wasn't 100 percent confident when setting up. In the end they all worked properly though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Eagle Eye Networks solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a VMS and Security Integrator, we spend enough time and manpower setting up systems in the field. The plug-and-play nature of the system made it the choice for our headquarters as it requires less setup time and is easy to manage. no confusing menus to set up in a nvr that you have to plug into or access through confusing steps. Just hit the cloud dashboard and get on with it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
