They took care to go through all of our old cameras and made sure they would work and configured all the settings to give us the best image and retention possible. Being able to access our cameras from anywhere is a huge plus! **What do you dislike about Eagle Eye Networks?** There is not much that we dislike about the Eagle Eye system. Most of our 'dislikes' are features that we would like to see implemented and since Eagle Eye is always upgrading and implementing new features we usually do not have to wait long to see the features we want. We are waiting to have some features implemented when it comes to video searching and being able to search multiple cameras at once. This leaves integrators in a tough spot sometimes with their customers when we put equipment on their network and it doesn't work immediately because there is some configuration on their network that needs to be done. This configuration isn't readily available and you need to get with support to find it out. They were always quick to RMA and get a replacement out but I did go through a few. Even the CMVRs are much, much more cost-effective than a traditional turn-key NVR from other manufacturers. **What do you dislike about Eagle Eye Networks?** Generally we have had very good experiences with Eagle Eye, but in the past year or so we have repeatedly run into software/firmware issues, issues with switch modules inside of bridges/CMVRs (to the point where we do not sell those particular SKUs anymore), and inconsistent tech support experiences (sometimes we'll talk to 3 different techs on a support ticket and the 3rd one will have a quick and easy solution, raising the question of why were the first 2 not aware of said solution?) The online training materials could use a proofread/update. Some of the questions, particularly relating to CMVR HDD capacity, were blatantly incorrect when compared to current EEN marketing materials. **What problems is Eagle Eye Networks solving and how is that benefiting you?** For years we sold an on-premise surveillance solution that was difficult to remotely manage and support. I like that it quickly pulls a lower quality live stream and then after a few seconds pulls up the high quality view. It seems faster than other similar apps I've used from other manufacturers. **What do you dislike about Eagle Eye Networks?** Camera selection from Eagle Eye is a little subpar. But the software does support a wide range of cameras from other manufacturers. Also some customers have been confused about downloading and storing clips offline and the process to do so. EEN saves the clip in a queue for downloading but some customers have assumed that the clip is downloaded when they click the download button initially. The software does notify you when the clip is ready for download but some users have overlooked the notification. **What problems is Eagle Eye Networks solving and how is that benefiting you?** Cloud recording is the future and many customers have asked for it or are open to the idea. It is much easier than configuring storage for an onsite NVR upfront. Also hard drives fail eventually and it is costly to replace them in NVRs. ### 21. So many others have the most convoluted process to get set up, EEN takes that away. Each piece of hardware has the correct amount of instructions and very clear to understand. **What do you dislike about Eagle Eye Networks?** The online portal doesn't have quite as much customization as I like that a few competitors offer. When setting up a few analytics it was a little hard to do so and wasn't 100 percent confident when setting up. In the end they all worked properly though. **What problems is Eagle Eye Networks solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a VMS and Security Integrator, we spend enough time and manpower setting up systems in the field. The plug-and-play nature of the system made it the choice for our headquarters as it requires less setup time and is easy to manage. no confusing menus to set up in a nvr that you have to plug into or access through confusing steps. Once they see it and use it, they typically want to expand their surveillance. **What do you dislike about Eagle Eye Networks?** There aren't many down-sides, but if I had to pick something, I would say that their legacy units were pretty temperamental when it came to temperature and temporary network outages. This seems to have been remedied with their new "+" series of bridges. There also seems to be some inconsistency in how the cameras get imported and capabilities, i.e. I have the same model of camera in different spots on the same bridge. One of them overlays video motion detection bounding boxes and one does not. **What problems is Eagle Eye Networks solving and how is that benefiting you?** Eagle Eye lets us push the video surveillance to the cloud without having to muck around with port forwarding or the customer's (sometimes ever changing) firewall and networking. We have additionally benefited from the available remote diagnostics and the ability to power-cycle the ports on their managed switches remotely to reduce truck-rolls to the customer location. ### 29. Their online platform as well as their MVR are both very well put together products. Within the platform you are easily able to view all the cameras that are hooked into your MVR along with replaying footage and downloading clips. Also the MVR supplied with Eagle Eye is very easy to set up within your network and configure. Finally, their support is very cooperative as well. Should you need assistance at any point in the installation they are available to help, both the physical and web platform. **What do you dislike about Eagle Eye Networks?** Eagle Eye has very good benefits however the main thing that is a slight set back is their web platform access. At times we've noticed that is is very buggy and with poor internet connection it can take a while for video clips to compile and export. **Recommendations to others considering Eagle Eye Networks:** If any company is looking for a solution to their surveillance requirement, Eagle Eye is definitely the way to go. Simple and easy to use for anyone in the company. **What problems is Eagle Eye Networks solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Eagle Eye we are able to give the General Managers of our branch offices an easy to use portal in which they can view their location's site quickly and in an organized manner. Also from an IT standpoint we are able to centrally view all of our locations and the MDF's in one easy to access platform from any device.
