Dynamics 365 has a strong integration with the Microsoft ecosystem, making it an low resistance choice for organizations already using Office 365, Power BI, and Teams. However, in my experience, the complexity of setup and reliance on IT resources make it hard to use compared to other platforms. Dynamics 365 has a steep learning curve and requires significant IT involvement for daily use and optimization. The interface is not intuitive, making adoption slower for all teams. Campaign automation is difficult to figure out and lacks the flexibility of tools like HubSpot.
Reporting needs plugins for deeper insights. The marketing features feel obsolete, requiring multiple steps for tasks that should be very straightforward.

Certain areas like the proper integration of performance Analytics with sales forecasting, sales automation and workflow automation or some of the best features of this software. Apart from that a lot of these features are very well synchronized making it a 1 platform tool for all things marketing starting from grassroots-level tasks like email marketing to planning campaigns. Mostly it is a tool that benefits every stakeholder related to marketing or operations in general. Frankly, I do not dislike anything about Dynamic 365 marketing but I feel the implementation part can be made much more easier. For the branding team, we decided that we need Dynamic 365 and therefore we decided to organize training on the same. A bit of restriction to change and the lack of interest from certain members were identified. Some did not understand the need for the same because they might not use it frequently. In the events world, we always need to automate and be in the lookout of what's hot. What I really appreciate is the comprehensive nature of the platform. This app is not just a simple task manager; hence, it's a full-fledged system that can handle everything from event planning and registration to marketing, sales, and even post-event analysis. Having all this information in one place is a huge win. For example, being able to track attendee registrations directly within the same system where we manage our marketing campaigns is a huge time-saver. What is find most helpful about Dynamics 265 Marketing is its complete set oftools for managing marketing campaigns. I feel one of the upside of using Dynamics 365 Marketing is its seamless integration with other Microsoft softwares like Dynamics 365 sales. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The least helpful feature about Dynamics 365 Marketing is itslearning curve, especially for users who have no or limited experience with similar marketing automation tools. It crashes on the time. Sometimes while working on doc:
1. The format will change, or features like adding links will disappear.
2. Should you want to edit within the text it will crash, so you have to right-click in order to not have to completely go back out to continue editing your doc.
