"Comprehensive Marketing Solution with Strong Automation Capabilities"
What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Marketing?

I appreciate how seamlessly it integrates with other Microsoft applications, making data flow effortless between marketing, sales, and customer service. The marketing automation tools, real-time analytics, and customizable customer journeys allow for highly targeted campaigns. The interface is user-friendly once familiar, and the AI-driven insights help in optimizing performance. The most helpful aspect is the ability to unify customer data across channels, giving a 360-degree view of the audience. Its automation features save significant time on repetitive tasks, such as email campaigns and lead scoring. The platform’s deep analytics and reporting capabilities make it easier to measure ROI, improve campaign targeting, and ensure consistent brand messaging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Marketing?

While feature-rich, it has a learning curve, especially for those new to Microsoft’s ecosystem. Some advanced customization requires technical knowledge, and occasional system lags can slow down workflows during high-volume campaign execution. The pricing can be high for smaller teams, and certain integrations outside the Microsoft environment may require extra configuration or third-party tools. Additionally, onboarding could be smoother with more beginner-friendly templates and tutorials for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Marketing & Sales Alignment, But Learn the Curves"
What do you like best about Dynamics 365 Marketing?

I really enjoy the customer journey builder. It’s visual and simple to use, so I can see exactly how a lead moves from the first interaction to follow-up emails and handoff to sales. The email designer is another feature I like—it’s flexible enough to create professional emails without needing design skills. The segmentation is also a big plus. Being able to target the right audience based on real data helps keep communication relevant and avoids sending unnecessary messages. Finally, the tight integration with Dynamics 365 Sales is something I find especially valuable. It keeps marketing and sales aligned and gives a clear view of how leads are engaging before they’re passed on. I also like how well it handles data and insights. Having engagement data, lead activity, and campaign performance tied directly to the CRM makes it much easier to understand what’s actually driving results. It feels more practical than pulling reports from different systems and trying to connect the dots. Another plus is scalability. Whether you’re running a small campaign or multiple journeys at once, the platform handles growth without feeling cluttered or overwhelming. Overall, it works especially well for teams that want structure, visibility, and better alignment between marketing and sales. It feels like a tool that supports real-world marketing needs rather than adding extra complexity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dynamics 365 Marketing?

The email and journey setup can be a bit slow, especially with complex automations, and small changes take longer to publish or test. Customization and flexibility are somewhat limited, with certain layouts, templates, or rules feeling restrictive compared to other tools. Reporting could be more user-friendly, as creating custom reports or specific insights sometimes requires extra steps or technical help. The initial setup was also challenging, particularly for team members new to Dynamics 365, and it wasn't a 'plug and play' experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
