100% cloud backup solution that was implemented well and easy to use. Great communication from our AE through the process and whenever needed. There is a robust admin web management portal that offers a fairly granular user privilege setup and the ability to add different regions in backup. Druva doesn't require a lot of bandwidth or additional resources for either backups or restores. Users can independently recover their data. We are able to back the files up both individually and at a group level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Biggest con, in this day and age, is that it would be great to have an admin smartphone application. More details when the backup is running would be nice as well as more customizable reports. Also, some cosmetic bugs related to the UX, but nothing huge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a great all-in-one stop shop for our Backup needs from our GSuite back up and our on-premises Hyper-V VMs. The GUI is easy to read and understand with great insight in how much storage we are using for our backups. And is a good place to go to fully understand how much data we are working on protecting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main improvement that I can see would be the implementation of a radio button that can present daily, weekly, or monthly backups. Making customer's experience a little easier. But overall I did not have any issues with this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Remember those old backup systems where you'd cross your fingers and hope everything worked? Yeah, Druva's the opposite of that. It just works. Everything's automated, and I can restore anything I need in minutes – a single email, a whole folder, even an entire Shared Drive. It's like magic, but the reliable kind.
One of the biggest time-savers has been Druva's support for SCIM. Automated provisioning and deprovisioning of users has streamlined our user management significantly. No more manually updating accounts – Druva takes care of it all, and I can focus on more important things Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
More GUI functions would be nice, but everything I requested has been available via API. So far no dislikes about Druva Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Mistakes happen, accidents happen, and when your data is critical you need the best backup. I trust DRUVA to be there when I need it. I can log in and restore data in a flash making my job easier. Setting up a new endpoint is easy, and there is nothing my end user needs to do, it could not be easier to set up. I log into the console at least once a week, and find it easy to use. The features I need are reliable and I enjoy using them. When I need support I can reach out and get a response quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not experienced any downsides to using DRUVA. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A comprehensive and simple cloud backup and security solution for Microsoft 365. Druva have recently added identity backups for Entra ID, which is a massive value add.
There are a host of additions to the base level package - including Sensitive Data Governance, Federated Search, and eDiscovery, which are all very powerful tools.
Druva have a strong focus on security, with tools to monitor backups for suspicious activity, and to help recover clean backups after a ransomware attack.
Druva customer service is excellent, with chat functionality within the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The licensing reports are unclear, and there is some inconsistency in the licence usage across various reports. There is some evidence that the reports are being modernised, so hopefully Druva will address this soon.
Sensitive Data Governance could be given an results export function and better ability to sort or filter results. It desperately needs a progress indicator as there is no way of telling how long a sensitive data search will take. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's super easy to use, like you don't have to be a scientist or anything. Even my non-tech collegues can use it and set it up Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not have any dislike or some inconvenice I had while using Druva. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very easy to setup on the backend. We were able to use this in conjunction with Work Space One to push out the agent to users laptops and configure the profiles to backup exactly what they needed with ease. It's very easy for end users to grab what they need from the backup and if a laptop fails, we have easily been able to rebuild on another machine. No complaints from end users about missing data or the time it takes to restore which is critical in the backup space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Haven't found too much that we dislike. Would liketo see an integration with Slack or Teams that allows end users to seamlessy restart their backup if it failed or paused. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This backup software is great and easy to use. There are plenty of options for backing up as well. VMWare, Hyper-V, File Servers, MS-SQL, NAS, Oracle, SAP HANA and Nutanix AHV. Not only are the many options quite easy to set up but the support and onboarding teams are unmatched.
Another great thing that I like about Druva is the ability to restore into a sandbox environment that is supplied by Druva to test and make sure that the restore will work as I need it to before restoring into my actual environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far it has been excellent and I don't have any complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Druva is a cloud-native backup and disaster recovery solution designed for modern enterprises. Unlike traditional backup solutions that require on-premises infrastructure, Druva is fully SaaS-based, eliminating the need for hardware while providing secure, scalable, and automated backup management. Since Druva is a cloud-native solution, it requires a reliable internet connection for backups, restores, and daily operations. If the internet connection is unstable or slow, this can significantly impact the speed of backup processes or data recovery times. For organizations in remote or bandwidth-limited environments, this can be a critical limitation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Druva continues to improve their product and making the admin portal easier to navigate and use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
After a year, I still have not really encountered any downsides, especially compared to our previous solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
