It's just so simple and easy. It's a great way to be able to see what people are looking at in your documents, how long they spend on them, and when they come back. It's a fantastic way to gauge interest and intent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be nice if there were a few more pro features. The only one that I can think of now is that when I use a signable document, I'd like that document to be automatically sent to our lawyers for archival purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't name just one, but will for this purpose. As a sales person, I love and hate proposals. I love them because they bring in revenue. I hate them because they often go off in to a black hole. Before DocSend, I often sent materials to clients and prospects without knowing which of them interacted with those materials -- especially materials not requiring a signature. 1. The quick notification when someone has viewed the content
2. The level of detail (info on the person, how long they spent on the document)
3. The ability to make custom links and organize them by accounts - this helps with sales management/tracking

1. The user-interface within the app needs improvement - it feels fairly dated with the folder/list approach that seems cookie-cutter
2. Once you have a lot of files (think 100+) it would be helpful to provide more sophisticated ways to categorize files (tags, etc)
3. The pricing for the Standard is pretty steep ($45 now) when the basic is $10. That's quite a leap. Advanced is $150 per month. As Founder of a startup company, i found DocSend very useful. Sending Investor Decks and important documents much more secure. You have full control of who is viewing it. We have also couple internal metrics who most likely invest or not based on viewing times and return rates. Every Founder should use and take benefit of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I do not need to add attachments and the mail looks more clean. Besides you can add a big amount of documents and archives and in th order of importance depending on what you need. Excellent tool for sales and marketing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would say that the way I pre view the archives is a little annoying sometimes, I would prefer the documents to be downloading instantly and not have the "preview" option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
