DocSend lets you see who's seen your material. Seems simple, but the alternative is sending PDFs, slide decks, and Drive links of which you have no clue as to how many copies have been made and how widely your material has been distributed.

On standard paper-sized PDFs, it's a bit more difficult to zoom as you would on a typical PDF being viewed online. That is, a vertical rectangle stays small unless you manually zoom with browser or OS tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Importing a powerpoint slide presentation into another medium never works, but I was sent a slide deck via DocSend, and I was impressed, so I gave it a try. I signed up and uploaded our Resilient Ventures Deck and checked it out. It took no more than 3 minutes to set it up -- not kidding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

First of all the operation is so simple that anyone no matter their technical level could use it without any problem. It has very practical and interesting functionalities when it comes to manipulating and sending documents, some things to highlight are the generation of a link after a document is created, which makes you share it to whoever you want and it would be in their hands with just one click. Another thing that I really liked was the control you have over the documents, letting you protect them with passwords, assign different permissions to different people, even set up the expiration date of the documents for viewing. One of the things that I am disappointed not to find in this software is the non-implementation of mobile applications for any platform. This would be helpful for people who need to send documents on the go quickly without having to change tabs within the browser, something that takes away flexibility and productivity for those users. The organization of documents and files can become a little complicated and messy, so you must be very aware where everything is located. Other than that I didn't find more things I didn't like about this solid software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
