## Docebo Reviews
 ### 1. The first LMS for a transforming company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Simplicity of configuration
Onboarding process
Quality of help center

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Documentation is not so easy to consultation

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To have a modern learning environment to use for onboarding too.

 ### 2. Great Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valerie M. | Global LMS Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Super intuitive for users to navigate. Easy admin functions for course build and reports.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Updates launched sometimes before fully tested. This sometimes will cause issues with integrations we have.

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

Docebo has been a great experience. We started out using a custom built platform that was much more expensive and we were very dependent on the developer to load all of our content and build all of our courses. With Docebo, we can do all of this ourselves and make updates as needed. Simple to use from an administrator perspective and easy to navigate and use for a user.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working on MS teams Integration issue. Support very responsive. Docebo chat is great feature as I can get simple questions or issues resolved quickly that may not need a full ticket inquiry and may be just a user error.

 ### 3. Fantastic product and customer service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew C. | People Development & Learning Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

- Docebo Connect
- Notification adaptability
- Simple distinction between classroom and e'learning
- Reporting function is particularly robust, allows a lot of data insights
- Customer support is brilliant, whether its through a ticket or the chat function.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

- Docebo connect not being part of the original package.
- Issues with google calendar integration - especially with regard to time zone changes (british summer time)

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Less work for the trainers as Docebo marks attendance and sends out invites (less work for F&P too)
- Due to the notifications, we can automatically remind people to attend certain sessions - cutting down on no-shows to optional ILT.
- Very easy to circulate mandatory learning like infosec.

 ### 4. Docebo LMS for customers and partners

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stanislav C. | Head of Digital Customer Experience, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Docebo is extremely versatile in terms of settings and customization. We like custom pages and menus with layout constructor. Design is quite fresh and is constantly evolving and updating. API is a next thing (however we still don’t use it), but have plans to integrate Docebo LMS into external platforms and possibly create an administration tool to support our admins in better managing current user and courses database.
We also like Bulk loading via CSV (users, courses ,enrollments). It saves a lot of time, especially when you need to massively update user fields or enroll many people in specific groups or learning plants.
Docebo provides a flexible interface when it comes to course players. We use course widgets to increase the value of the course, to gather feedback, to let people download files or other materials when accessing the course.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Docebo has introduced custom integrations with an external platform to optimize classroom management (schedule, utilization, and all) which partially solves challenges. We still have to employ custom software that uses custom reports and visualize course schedules the way we want.

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

Decide first whether you are going to heavily use online and/or classroom functionalities

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Docebo LMS is mainly an external learning platform for our end customers (industrial automation, energy management, digital buildings, secure power and etc.) and partners (distributors, integrators, OEMs, designers and universities).
With Docebo we are able to offer tailor-made technical courses in all imaginable formats (eLearnings, videos, classroom, assessments).

 ### 5. Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Business Supplies and Equipment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

The user interface is very intuitive. Administrative functions are easy to complete and require minimal effort. The central repository makes it easy to maintain changes to courses.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Reporting is not very flexible. It would be nice to have to ability to schedule reports for survey and assessment data. Additionally, it would be nice to have the ability to customize reports based on user-defined criteria that would provide access to more fields.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Docebo makes it possible to provide training material to diverse populations with an easy to use interface for the client.

 ### 6. Docebo - The great LMS

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

- As an ADMIN the system is very intuitive and easy to use. In addition, the help center is well organized and easy to understand. Overall, it is user friendly!

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

The only thing I dislike is the notification area in the system. You don't have the ability to copy emails and there are no filters to find notifications easily.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Docebo is very proactive in listening to their customer's concerns and working with a solutions consultant to go over technicalities to make admin life easier and better equipped.

 ### 7. Has a lot of self help articles

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Reports, I like that I can customize my notifications!

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

I wish we could run reports and information be real time

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I learned how to set up meetings VILT

 ### 8. Can't Miss With Docebo

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

UX, tools integration with remote meeting apps, tech support, roles ease of use, course/catalogs/learning plans build structure and presentation. Stands out amongst LMS options.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Perhaps enhancing UX to be more intuitive or distilled into its core design elements. Addition of JS customization (big limitation to some users); expand more CSS capabilities. Enhance WYSIWYG tools options. More intiuitive UX work on report builidng tools.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Delivering learning content accurately to all our association members and boards. Docebo has proven crucial for our L&D operations. Our users are extremely satisfied with Docebo's performance.

 ### 9. Docebo LMS for Extended Enterprise - New Customer

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Docebo has a lot of functionality for customization. Reporting is pretty good. There are a lot of options to control levels of Power User privileges, but some of the most basic controls are still lacking - fixes are on the roadmap and hopefully will be released this year.
Our success manager has been phenomenal with regular check-in calls. We were promised this with our previous vendor and never got this level of care. We also appreciate the community/ideas portal and the transparency in roadmap and release update webinars.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

It was sold to us to support our 400+ customers. We thought we would be able to keep our customers separate so they couldn't see each other's information, but that functionality is really lacking.

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

Get a demo and make sure that they can demonstrate that it actually meets your use case if you have special needs. Be very very clear about your needs. Don't take it at face value if the sales reps says it can do something.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Docebo has opened up a more robust solution for us so we can host Teams training events on the site - this allows for centralized reporting. We are also exploring some revenue-generating options based on some of the extended fuctionality.

 ### 10. We are new to Docebo but so far the experience is wonderful and exactly what we needed.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

The Docebo staff are one of the best parts of the platform. The sales team went above and beyond. Even after we signed the contract, they have still been there to answer our questions. The integration team takes the time to listen to each of our use cases and asks follow-up questions to understand what we need Docebo to do. If we can not find the answers ourselves through the extensive resource Docebo has online, their team is always there to answer our questions.

Overall the platform is user-friendly, and our training department does not have any issues navigating the site. It has saved their departments hours of work already.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

There are limitations to every software that you add to your business. It depends on what you do with those limitations. Since we are still in the implementation stage, we have found ways to work around any limitations we have run into so far.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a resource center for internal and external training materials, an LMS that can adapt to our complex data model, an LMS with high data security practices, and something that integrates into Salesforce experience cloud.

 ### 11. Easy set-up and feature rich

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patricia H. | Instructional Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

We set ours up in a short time. The learning curve was minimal, and the Help Desk continues to be very quick with helpful responses. Best of all, everything is visual, rather than working in complicated programing to achieve results. Docebo support is very good and my CXM Christina Streetman is tremendous!

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

The platform is still growing, so there are inconsistencies in the functionality, i.e., some menus are clickable while others aren't but should be. I'd like more customization without having to code a brand new page.

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

No system is perfect—I've worked on at least five different types in my career thus far—and this has been the easiest to implement and get users acclimated to with minimal training. As an Admin, I'm confident in the system performance and accomplish tasks with reasonable effort and predictable time frames. The platform is feature-rich even without all the add-ons. The customer service is very high, and the HelpDesk is quick and easy to understand. The more we use it, we keep finding more ways to expand our reach to customers and increase their satisfaction, which has been our goal in implementing this platform.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been able to guide specific groups to specific learning plans easily, resulting in increased customer satisfaction. The unified look and functionality is more friendly and professional than previous systems, which has generated positive feedback internally and additional interest in our services. We've moved away from several other services to consolidate on this platform, resulting in cost-savings and more reporting ease.

 ### 12. Very capable system

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Moses R. | Training manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

The options, there are many options I choose from.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Some of the options require more knowledge then I have and of course there are many options that add additional costs.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating my training courses and allowing me a better visual of what my students are doing.

 ### 13. Very Versatile LMS

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shirley O. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Docebo sells because of its versatility and flexibility as an LMS. I like how it facilitates top-notch customization from the primary tile colors to your logo. Onboarding users to Docebo platform is quite simple, and it comes with a variety of importing options. The tool works incredibly well, and I have been using it to create our channels, install supported apps and create your preferred courses for our organization.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Docebo lacks a few crucial features, including testing updates before they are launched or testing notifications. Docebo also has some inconsistency on the courses and tests, such as adjusting questions when a test is in progress.

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

Before making the purchase, consider the size of your virtual classroom, then pick the most favorable plan, and it will work well for you.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Docebo LMS as our primary learning platform for our customers in various industries. We can create courses according to their preferences. As a result, we launch scalable technical courses with high levels of learner engagement.

 ### 14. Providing educational resources and elevating specialty skills for our healthcare workers!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steph J. | CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Docebo enables our ability to hold learners accountable to their learning while supporting their needs through multiple learning modalities and system functions. That makes learning stick and provides the resources to support learners in their jobs.

The combination of structured learning and social learning is a great approach to keep learning engaging. We want our portal to be “the place” where all learners come!

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Skill validation is critical in healthcare training. I would like to see better dashboards and manager oversight to competencies and compliance standards.

Also, engagement is key - creating a notification portal that delivers messaging to the community in a timely and appropriate manner could be enhanced on the Docebo platform

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

If you are looking for a platform that is learner-centered, the Docebo platform is it. This company puts the learner experience at the forefront of everything they build and design.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Offering state-of-the-art learning to healthcare providers in specialty care areas where training resources are limited. Also, delivering the accountability to ensure knowledge and skill transfer occurs.

Our learners are growing their skills and confidence by huge strides! We are working to level up the skills of our healthcare workers to serve our patients better.

 ### 15. Docebo Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa R. | Senior Manager, OrgDev, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

We love having the ability to customize the platform. We've customized unique pages, learning plans. We have quite a few Power Users who upload and assign their training content - we value the ease of use.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

The available reporting and analytics. It would be great to have the ability to pull a report that reflects specific courses tied to a learning plan and enrollment rules. Currently, this is manually tracked, which is challenging as we have over 150 unique 'enrollment rules'

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

I'd like to recognize our Customer Experience Manager, Christina Streetman. Her thorough communication continually ensures each touchpoint (email, phone, or webinar) throughout my Docebo journey has been engaging, efficient, and effective. She is personable and skilled at building relationships and trust with not only myself but my team. Christina is a true example of the type of CXM every employer should desire; accountable and responsible, personable with a superior work ethic, and a high degree of integrity.

Please ensure Christina Streetman is recognized for her thoughtful leadership and ensure she knows that her efforts, consistently going above and beyond do not go unnoticed and are valued.

Feel free to reach out should you have any questions.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We appreciate the ability to offer optional courses to our employees. They are easy to find and we've seen an uptick in our employee's time on the platform & course completions.

 ### 16. Simplified learning management at our fingertips

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dmitry B. | Java Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Docebo is used as the main learning and training platform for our organization's staff. Understanding the platform is quite simple, it allows us to leverage technology to induct and prepare all staff in the most appropriate way. It contributes a lot to the growth of the organization; moreover, it has a great support team.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

The login is sometimes slow and its cost is a bit high.

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

Docebo is an excellent learning tool that as time goes by it updates and becomes even better. The knowledge bases are extensive and useful for shaping employee knowledge. I recommend Docebo, it is excellent for training and coaching.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Docebo has put at our fingertips the necessary tools to foster learning in the organization. The control given by the platform and the built-in customization capabilities have been helpful in tailoring it to our organization's needs and getting the best out of the software. It has been a great asset to impart and strengthen the knowledge of our staff, our experience has been good.

 ### 17. Innovation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin R. Z. | LMS & Training Support Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Docebo is moving the LMS world forward with their Learn product. Innovation at its finest. The team at Docebo is constantly listening to feedback from their LMS world to determine best use cases.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

There are not many downsides to joining up with Docebo. We wish their employee climate was a bit more stable, however, I know it isn't easy to retain employees during COVID.

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

Plan your needs accordingly, ahead of time.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to take our internal feedback data directly from our clients and use that alongside the tools at Docebo to create a wonderful compliance training environment.

 ### 18. Our organisation enjoys using Docebo - both the platform and the service.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Upsides of using Docebo - the communication between Docebo and our organisation, the swift responses from both the help desk and our customer team. The platform is easy to use from an administrative perspective and the infrastructure has allowed us to grow our learning portfolio and increase our product value over the years.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

A big downside of the Docebo platform for our organisation is the lack of networking / communication features. We want to foster an exchange of ideas, conversations and best practices but are unable to do this using the current infrastructure and interface.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Localising our content (live sessions, e-learning tools, on-demand courses) in one place with reliable data tracking abilities and participant progress oversight. We have recently gone through an organisational structure change opening our platform up to a much wider audience and Docebo was able to both accommodate and facilitate this change.

 ### 19. Incredible Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie K. | Instructional Designer , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

I am a big fan of their customer service/support/help desk team. Wheneverin doubt I know I can count on Docebo to explain the inner workings of the platform to better help me understand how to use the system to my advantage.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

There are some components that still need some work. The notifications and central repository could be a little more user-friendly. If notifications were built right into a course that would be helpful, or set up in a calendar type format to better visualize timelines. We'd love it if the central repository's scroll functionality was a little easier to navigate when organizing courses. As well as the ability to create recertification classes with fresh data for the following year all while keeping last years data too. I know these projects take time and energy and their current state is functional, so this isn't a bad review just some suggestions to make many of our lives more functional on the platform.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ILT has solved issues for us with in-person and online sessions.

 ### 20. Great LMS with many features!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

What I like best about Docebo is all the customization you can do with pages. You can have a home page for all learners or individual home pages for different groups of people and each page can be duplicated or customized with many different widgets! You can also create different pages for programs within your organization - its what you make of it! Organization of courses is fantastic as well! Utilizing different categories to folder courses makes it easy to find what you are looking for on the administrative side.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

What I dislike most about Docebo is that the reporting is only updated every 24 hours and not live. You can have your data refreshed whenever you need but it takes a good bit of time for that refresh to be completed - not good if you are under a time constrant. I aslo find the observation checklists to be a bit confusing - they live in their own creation area and can be assigned out through scheduling but they can also live in a course as learning material. There is NO reporting on observation checklists but rather a dashboard that cannot be exported. This makes it difficult to report on observation checklists.

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

Docebo is a very powerful LMS full of features. Ensure you are able to fully utilize all features within your organization.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to build more substantial learning plans for new hires to deliver a better training experience for their role specific duties. The ability to build courses with so many different material options and then take those course and put them together in a cohesive learning plan makes for an amazing experience!

 ### 21. Great LMS, always improving, and great support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria N. | Manager, Digital Education, Science Group, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

The user interface is highly customizable for the end-user, and it's pretty intuitive compared to other LMSs I have used. The back end is also quite straight-forward. Other LMSs I have used (looking at you, SumTotal) are a nightmare on the backend, with multiple nested menus, incomprehensibly named data fields, non-intuitive methods for building courses and curricula, etc. That isn't the case with Docebo. Docebo is clean, modern, and pretty fast. It doesn't require you to be an expert LMS administrator to make sense of it, and it doesn't feel like a bogged-down legacy product like most other LMSs on the market.

The localization tool is hugely powerful. The fact that the interface is available in so many languages "out of the box" is huge for our international user base. My colleagues in the Russia/CIS region were delighted to see Bosnian and Kazakh as options. The translations aren't always exactly what we want them to say, but it's very easy to make custom changes to the localizations.

It's not perfect, but Docebo is always making incremental improvements. Almost everything on my wish list has eventually been ticked off as they develop the product. The implementation of the central repository was the most important thing for me, as it made it much easier to update SCORM courses without having to ensure the manifest file was identical. I have found everyone on the Docebo team pleasant to work with. Support is responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Integration with Webex has traditionally been a challenge (but that might be due to more to Webex than Docebo). I definitely have found Docebo superior for managing digital courses rather than live ones, but I also have not tried to use that functionality in a while. Managing power users can sometimes be a pain.

I wish that the extended enterprise feature had a few more styling/customization options that didn't require CSS. There also doesn't seem to be a way to limit the catalogs that appear in the extended enterprise public-facing catalog, which makes it useless for us. It would also be great to have a better notification builder that could help design attractive e-mails without knowledge of HTML. Occasionally I have run into "mystery" issues here and there (in one case I had to change a system-generated message from the localization tool, which was kind of bizarre, but I guess made sense in a way), but generally support has been able to help me solve them. There have been times when certain administrative tasks have been a bit laborious, but it always seems to be getting better.

One thing that I definitely think could use improvement is the ability to get an overall view of an individual's progress/status. Generally, Docebo could use some improvements to be used for internal onboarding and training. There is a way to track certifications in Docebo, but we had difficulty trying to get it to really do what we wanted it to do. Along with that, it's hard to track ad-hoc learning.

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

Docebo is great in general, but would particularly serve an organization that is not experienced in implementing an LMS. It is pretty straight-forward and easy to use, and definitely not overly-technical. Plus, support is great.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are providing end-user training courses to a diverse group of end users and covering a number of products with differing security needs. For the most part, we've been able to implement the LMS in various ways to address the varying needs across our large business and product portfolio. Using extended enterprise, we've been able to build several portals with different content, branding, and access as needed.

**Official Response from Rob Ayre:**

> Hey Victoria, we really appreciate your feedback. Your Docebo Customer Experience manager has followed up to provide further insights and help with a few of the areas your facing challenges. ### 22. Big leap above normal

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Docebo channels its users to constantly update their software. Where most software companies would just send out updates based on their wants, Docebo had users contribute and vote on needed updates to focus on

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Not a lot. I think the gamification can be a little more robust. There also can be more flexibility in reporting as we all want more data.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a large corporation with different silos requiring different training. This platform allows me to deliver specifics in general training without pulling my hair out.

 ### 23. Docebo New For Me

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael M. | Onboarding Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

The ease of use and the simplistic way of getting the most out of the learning plan.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

I have found nothing so far that I dislike.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had an older LMS and this was the perfect choice for us.

 ### 24. Vast improvement in our training delivery capabilities

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan S. | Director, Content and Training, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Docebo excels at: client/relationship management, Docebo University (new client training), thorough implementation process (guided, coached, tracked), user interface, content management, client IT support

Docebo is good to pretty good: AI/automation, notifications, catalog management

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Where there's room for improvement:
* Better learner tracking (e.g., at present, Docebo doesn't track multiple engagements with a course or exam)
* More intuitive settings for courses, training materials, certificates, etc.
* Better exam management functionality (e.g., versioning)
* Finer control over power users, groups, and branches
* More administrative control over Coach & Share (down to the post and category level)
* More reporting capabilities and more control over what is pulled into reports
* More support for a wider range of payment processors
* More authority invested in the central repository as an actual central repository for all training-related materials

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Even with room for improvement, Docebo has brought our learner experience and content management experience into the 21st century. It's easier to manage content and share that responsibility across my team, and the learner experience is straightforward and polished.

 ### 25. Great.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

The look and feel. Love the color scheme and the general branding.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

The navigation could use improvement. I personally do not like the bread crumbs

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer work

 ### 26. Perfect for small to medium sized business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Gamification, Certificates, learning plans. The ability to stylize easily and without intervention from developers

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

The webinar feature is not especially intuitive and could be better architected

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business is small but is growing quickly. Docebo helps us create a learning culture with our users and reduces time spent on questions that get asked often

 ### 27. Beware

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

I like the features to create different types of learning modes, Instructor led, E-learning, etc.
I love the course widgets. and the layout of the course for the learners is very professional.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

First of all, they just introduced a new feature called Docebo Connect. This means that all the native integrations they previously had will now go away and will be fee-based. We paid a large sum of money to connect Docebo to Shopify with APIs; then they said that the native integrations with Shopify will now be removed, and everything will have to be paid for through Docebo Connect. The account manager is not helpful and they do not share information clearly with us. They don't offer suggestions to help us improve our workflow, and they try to find every possible way to bill you for more money.
The e-commerce features are very limited, and we keep losing hundreds of users every month because they drop off the shopping cart and don't go through with the purchase.
I do not like the subscriptions either.
The integration with zoom is extremely buggy.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making our learning visible. We want to create a professional online shop for all of our training courses and allowing students to purchase and complete learning in an easy and user-friendly way.

**Official Response from Rob Ayre:**

> We’d like to assure you that our native integrations are not going away or becoming fee-based. We continually work to maintain and improve these integrations. In addition, we are enhancing this existing free offering, by adding even more (400+) integration options through our new connector marketplace, Docebo Connect.

We are continuing to offer many critical apps, like webinar tools and payment gateways through our LMS, free of charge. Where it makes sense, however, we are transitioning some important integrations (like Shopify) to Docebo Connect, where we can offer additional value and quality to our customers through Connect templates and additional workflow flexibility to fit unique integration needs.

Where these transitions impact our customers, we will of course work with you to ensure the best outcome possible and encourage you to contact us directly through the communication center of your platform or help.docebo.com so that we can discuss your concerns.

 ### 28. Great platform , easy to use, easy to administer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Docebo allows you to hit the ground running with easy-to-navigate features and intuitive administrative actions.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Docebo reporting has gotten better over the years, but I would like to see more customizable options.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Docebo helps me easily assign and track lessons for my users. Docebo also helps me upload new content and manage it easily.

 ### 29. Fundamental Functionality of Core Platform Isn't There

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

The tech support Docebo offers, particularly by chat, is phenomenal. The response time is excellent and their ability to view what is in your platform with specific examples to help solution is very beneficial. Most of my questions are answered without ever moving on to tier 2 support or submitting a formal ticket.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

The core lms platform is missing key features. Things like archiving courses or moving them into a maintenance mode that isn't visible to users aren't available. Notifications cannot be tested (you have to wait for their conditions to be met to see what the live notification looks like). Courses within learning plans cannot be organized into sections or topics, nor can learning plans be nested. There's no way to preserve history for multiple completions. There's not a function for a proctor code for exams. These are all functions that not only would I expect in an enterprise solution, but they are also functions that are available from Docebo's competitors. When bringing many of these features/needs up either in the suggestion portal or in the community, they are largely dismissed or ignored all together.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Docebo is great for sharing learning with both internal and external users. It allows us to share content easily across user groups while maintaining separate reporting through the user branch structure. The capabilities around custom layouts, gamification, sharing badges on LinkedIn, etc are nice added benefits.

**Official Response from Rob Ayre:**

> Hi, thanks for taking the time to review our platform. We’re happy that you appreciate our tech support and our capabilities around flexibility. We’re sorry you feel that Docebo lacks key functionalities - we take all feedback seriously and we appreciate you detailing out features you’d like to see in the future. We’ve noted all of this, and we will take it back to our product team. Thanks again!

 ### 30. Very satisfied so far

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Industrial Automation | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

I like the fact that Docebo is so intuitive and flexible. I also love the aesthetics of the platform and how easy it is to customize the branding. The speed of support from the help desk is another major plus.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Some of the advanced settings can be a little hard to find.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had to move all of our face-to-face training online due to the pandemic. Docebo has allowed us to do this successfully and we have also been able to streamline our training program and greatly improve the quality of the learner experience.

 ### 31. Docebo learning experience for training

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

The biggest advantage is that Docebo is a user-friendly platform, and it provides the possibility of having a sort of "library" of content (especially training) that can be customized ad hoc for users.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

The fact that it is not possible to organize the courses and that at the management level there are some functions that are not very straightforward and not logical (I'm thinking of the notifications - for example, you have to activate them first and then enroll in the course)

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are doing remote training for a lot of people - especially new hires, and this gives us a great advantage because we are not forced to do live training. Secondly, the fact that pages, courses, and notifications can be customized based on the country we are referring to is very useful when we have to send mandatory courses, and in this way, we can send it to everyone.

 ### 32. Tap knowledge from all sources into one platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susan D. | Administrative Clerk, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

This product has been able to channel all important knowledge plans into our company for the benefit of each department. I was able to advance my administrative skills after engaging on several lessons from Docebo. It is able to translate content into most favorite languages that one can use comfortably.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Learning from Docebo has not developed any challenge from my experience. I have always acquired skills from different lessons without any challenge.

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

My E-learning program have been successful with great help from Docebo. It has great support team that is always available to offer any assistance and it is easy to learn how it works.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main challenge we have solved is being able to learn from anytime and anywhere conveniently. This platform offers most advanced programs that favor our job timeline and I can take classes the time I am available. It has enabled me to learn additional skills at an affordable cost on my career path.

 ### 34. Great support to our daily need and constant inspiration to improve my job!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

The Docebo team is always ready to help me and to support my daily requests with patience and professionalism.
They give me many sources of inspiration to improve every time.
Monthly updates are perfect for keeping in touch and following the operational flow.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

The platform sometimes is very rigid in terms of graphic, colours and possibility to personalize.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a digital platform to train all our employees, salesforce, clients, and customers about our brand and products.
Our goal is to let them all feel involved and become real brand lovers, know brand pillars, mission, philosophy, and products better.
We are creating a platform that has the goal to be functional but also user-friendly, exciting, and involving.
Docebo is helping the brand and me to reach our goal.

 ### 35. Excellent Customer Service and User Friendly Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen L. | Vice President Varsity Camp Administration and Varsity University, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

The Docebo LMS is easy for both the administrator and user. Creating courses, learning plans, and course content is a simple process with the end product an extremely user friendly experience. The customer service is immediate and answers all questions.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

We have not identified anything that we dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

Docebo offers a comprehensive onboarding process and continues to provide support throughout your relationship. The response time to any questions is almost immediate and they always have a solution to an inquiries.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Over the past three years, and especially in 2020, we have been able to better serve our internal and external users. The LMS has provided opportunities to offer online learning ultimately reducing costs for in-person training.

 ### 36. Very easy to navigate.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonya L. | Marketing Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Docebo can help you implement convenient, engaging, and effective learning in no time. Docebo functionally allows users to organize courses with the appropriate customization.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

The downside would be the cost. Sometimes it's hard to get started. Over the pricing would be a significant setback; response time could be a little quicker. The customer support experience could be a little better.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is very user-friendly. Overall, the training combination of traditional e-learning content and its Channels (corp. youtube type feature) is fantastic. Business truly matters to them, and they listen to our needs and use cases to help us solve any issuses.

 ### 37. Full integration to support creation of training, sharing, social engagement and reports.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Great tool to engage employees and contractors alike to engage, communicate, share, and encourage continuous improvement. So many ways to "slice and dice" into groups (groups, channels, learning plan chats) to encourage informal learning and sharing. Central Repository supports many different types of learning material. And the help support is fantastic! I chat with them more than I care to admit asking questions. Everyone I've worked with has been so supportive! Generally easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Knowledge base. Before chatting with help I always try the Knowledge base first and it seldom has the level of detail I need. It is very basic and great for getting started. But it doesn't give the detail I would like to make design decisions.
I also don't like that if I import External Training I have to wait a day before it shows up in reports.
I would really like an opportunity for an online conference where people can share their design/implementation best practices/lessons learned. If there was one of these, I missed it. When it comes to design/implementation I feel I am alone and have to learn the hard way.
Skills feature does not include skills needed for our business and we can customize.

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

Access and keep open Docebo University to see implementation ideas, remember as an admin you have to invest in your own professional development to best support your learners/instructors.
Prioritize the features you wish to implement because implementing everything at once can be overwhelming
Develop a communication procedure for engaging and promoting your learners, including basic training on using the system with your custom branding

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Anytime, anywhere, easy access by phone app! Our contractors are out in the field and need quick, easy access to instructions, questions/answers, etc.
Increase engagement with sharing, Ask-an-expert
Distributing training for new revisions to our proprietary app
Tracking external training-professional certifications (I'm still struggling with simplifying this process)
We now have branch specific home pages and resources links, so we can make the training and resources focused to the branch. Each home page has customized widgets.

 ### 38. My experience with DOCEBO

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** simone c. | HR Junior training, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Practical, customizable with excellent customer service always available.

Easy and intuitive from the end user's side.

Possibility to create very interactive courses.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

When you start performing many operations from the administrator side, the platform experiences slowdowns.

Loading times and guides are not always intuitive.

To get the most out of it, it is necessary to rely on expert consultants.

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

At the cost of the platform, consider adding external consulting to maximize the investment.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help in spreading information reduces training time.

Allows active monitoring of training progress.

Many additional modules that greatly improve the platform.

 ### 39. Docebo is a great tool to educate your Customers!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valetta T. | Human Capital Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

I like that you have the ability to give each of your customers a different experience with the same tool and how easy the system is to use once you move past the setup.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

I wish learning plans could be assigned like courses as an option when setting up new users to avoid going to several pages. I wish the SuperAdmin permissions had different levels as well.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to onboard, train, and update our customers on the newest functionality of our software application using Docebo tool in an engaging and interactive way. Our customers love the LMS option.

 ### 40. Good experience, but strong limitations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mauro B. | HRIS Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Learner experience and customisability: from laptop and mobile you get a good experience and it can be customised to reflect branding.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Management from the administration side has several limitations, such as no possibility to inactivate an outdated course. Moreover, support from the vendor does not provide help about configuration even if we are available to buy it as a service

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

As with any other SaaS, it is of fundamental importance to list and well-define the requirements of the platform before implementing it. Docebo allows simple customisations of the experience even though the platform is already live, by granting certain modularity when dealing with different objects (courses, learning plans, menus, pages, integrations, user management, reporting...). One of the key features of the platform is that it provides market benchmarks, ideas, improvement suggestions based on the collected experience.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are providing custom learning to both our company and external users, such as resellers and customers directly. The platform allows integrations such as SSO login, API's to manage any kind of operation (given some experience in coding with API's) and several built-in integrations to be leveraged.

 ### 41. One Year with Docebo

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Building courses is simple. It takes minutes to build a course. It is also simple to see user history. Gamification and Channels are features included with LMS.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

There is no filtering features when working with Notifications.
There is no re-certification for Annual Required Training w/o deleting records from previous year.

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

The system is very easy to use and manage.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing annual mandatory training and classroom training has been simple with Docebo. The courses are easy to customize and the notifications help with reminders to avoid past dues.

 ### 42. everyone is helpful

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

help is quick. help desk and account mgr

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

wish there were more ways to do certain things on site.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

logins, working with my staff member

 ### 43. Lots of great features but not well thought-out. Frustrating user experience.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

The upside of Docebo is the sheer amount of features available. Particularly custom programming for our teams was good.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Some key features like management reporting with data visualization of teams' progress appear lacking or badly executed.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Custom learning programs for a diverse workforce with specific learning requirements.

 ### 44. Wonderful LMS! 100% recommended

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evija P. | Regional Human Resources and Administration Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

This is one of the most professional LMSes that I have seen. I only got to use the Demo version, but it has everything you need if you are focusing of a really good quality Learning tools in your company internally or externally - for your customers.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

In our case the pricing did not work out, but it is still a great deal for larger companies.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Learning/education management! Excellent tool!

 ### 45. Powerful Learning Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

I like the automation when it comes to what pages the users are going to see once they are done with the onboarding. Love the idea that we can design pages for each department based on their learning plans and structure. Like the branches/groups feature to organize our users.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

I wish the reporting and dashboard were more user-friendly and provides more insights about the user's completion, progress, and learning patterns.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have recently created a page for one of our customers both for their students and teachers to use Docebo as one of their LMS. This is our goal for the rest of our customers to enable them to access our library of content and to design a learning experience fit for their needs.

 ### 46. Best LMS Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darrell M. | Instructional Designer/ LMS Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

There are many attributes to like about Docebo LMS, but I would say it's not just the ease of use of the platform; it is the excellent support Docebo provides for problem resolution that stands out from other LMS. Functionally Docebo makes sense from any standpoint of LMS, but the user experience is most important and stands out from other LMS in my experience as an LMS admin.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

It is important to note our organization is not considered very large by comparison to other clients of Docebo. Even so, we have had stellar front row customer service, but we cannot expect Docebo to provide a feature that is platform-specific to our requests that have not been available yet. So to answer the question, there are two features in development and to be deployed soon by Docebo, but we would like them sooner. Even so, the LMS is working excellently as is. When the two features become available, we can then do our happy dance.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ok, this is topical and a considerable value for using xAPI to connect training content housed outside the LMS back into Docebo. When testing VR training content that was to be housed outside the LMS, we found the xAPI statement verb is sent back directly to the course through the learning object. What this means is no need to parse the LRS (learning record store) data, which is quite complex to do. The learner course report is updated at the course level, with the status or percent of completion for the training content updated and viewable in course reports. xAPI learning content used inside the LMS does not have this kind of issue; the reports reveal many trackable attributes like in using SCORM.

 ### 47. Docebo has been a vast improvement to our previous LMS with much more robust capabilities.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua r. | Operations Techinician, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

Most helpful have been all the widgets, and customization within Docebo to other platforms! all the integrations they have using API has been fantastic, and recent updates coming out weekly letting us know what is coming makes it feel more like it will be working for us rather than with us. the reports functionality has been excellent with only 1 or 2 things missing. having the audit trail will be wonderful.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Manual processes are incredibly taxing to do within Docebo. Simply assigning one person a different set of courses not within a learning plan takes up to 5 minutes. Unable to select one individual and add multiple courses at one time without using a CSV. CSV seems to be the main functionality to get around the laborious efforts for manual additions.

There are a few subtle nuances Docebo has, such as enabling cookies or making sure users are using the correct platform. Unfortunately for us, these nuances added up, and we have had an abundance of tracking completion records because of said issues...

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

Definitely understand API, and CSV. Pay for Docebo to set everything up so you can focus on dealing with more important tasks with all of the additional apps they integrate with.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

more automated processes have resulted in less time doing some of the old manual procedures we were needing to do. more administrator rights to various departments for different functionalities. Allowing Managers to manage a team within a branch or multiple branches.

 ### 48. Intuitive Content Pulling and very Effective Social Learning Package with Excellent Cloud Services.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angelina M. | .NET Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

- The solution offers excellent integration capabilities with various tools such as Adobe Connect, GoToMeetings, and other packages.

- Docebo is a course-authoring and effective learning system.

- Cost management and time-saving features are beneficial.

- Easy interface customization and progress tracking software.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

-None for Docebo functions. To me, the learning was easy, and the learning experienced through Docebo is more efficient. The content offered is reliable and beneficial.

**Recommendations to others considering Docebo:**

-Learning tool and extremely powerful content creation solution which has the ability to track certificates easily and various learning progress and the online course management product.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-Process costs management, very helpful content building system and the best certification platform, and the Micro-learning experience is excellent and effective.

The menus are super easy to navigate, and I could get started without researching or viewing tutorials. It only gets more sophisticated and useful the more you learn. The resources provided for learning the system are clear and super helpful.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

I don't like having to use a workaround to log in to two different experiences. I wish there were a way to either switch back and forth or impersonate using your account.

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing a great coaching experience - building a reporting structure that really allows users to see where they are and where they need to go and providing a big picture to the leadership of our clients to prove the worth of the education we're providing.

 ### 50. Great platform for customized learning experience and social learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Docebo?**

The ease for any employees to share their knowledge, the possibilities to customize the experience to any group of employees (easy pages design, efficient group targeting...), the completeness of the learning management capability, the quality of the customer sucess management.

**What do you dislike about Docebo?**

Some features are missing or not well designed (ex: monitoring capabilities for managers)

**What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing our internal expertise to be shared easily (so we do not use this expertise when people leave the company).
Creating a better onboarding experience for our new employees.
