"Great Visibility into Job Demand, Fit, and Skills"
What do you like best about SkillPanel?

ability to see the number of people in each job, visibility of popular job positions, shows average job position fit, identifies relevant skills to job positions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

Manager self-service links and employee self-service links have been merged; they should be clearly separated. Under Skill Ratings, the word "personal" has been mispelt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A truly user-friendly, data-driven platform that makes skills visible and growth engaging."
What do you like best about SkillPanel?

What I like best about SkillPanel is how comprehensive, yet easy to use it is. Everything HR, managers, and employees need to understand and grow their skills is brought together in one smart, engaging platform.

The SkillMaps are a true standout, from individual to company-wide views, they give instant insight into strengths, gaps, and future needs. Combined with data-driven analytics and predictive workforce planning, they help turn skills information into real business intelligence.

I also love the gamification features, badges, points, and progress tracking, which make development fun and motivating for everyone. Employees enjoy seeing their growth recognized, while managers can easily track progress through the Manager Dashboard.

The Employee Profiles are another strong point, providing a clear, structured summary of each person’s skills, certifications, and learning achievements. This transparency builds trust and helps managers make fair, informed decisions about hiring, mobility, and succession planning.

In short, SkillPanel brings together skills mapping, data analytics, gamification, and predictive insights in one powerful, user-friendly tool, making workforce management not only more efficient but also more human and inspiring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

There’s actually very little to dislike about SkillPanel, but like any strong platform, there’s still room to grow. At times, I wish the notification system was a bit more dynamic, for example, sending friendly reminders when skills need updating, or celebrating milestones and certifications automatically.

It would also be great to see even more social interaction within the gamification features, such as team challenges, peer recognition, or shared achievements, to make learning and development feel more collaborative.

Lastly, while the dashboards and analytics are already very solid, adding more customizable reporting options and a few deeper AI insights on skill trends or future role readiness would make the experience even more powerful for HR and managers.

Overall, these are minor wishes rather than complaints. SkillPanel already provides exceptional value, and with a few small enhancements in engagement and personalization, it could easily become the most complete and human-centered workforce management platform on the market. "Excellent product for understanding your complete talent breakdown."
What do you like best about SkillPanel?

This is a top class product for understanding exactly where you are in terms of your internal talent capability, which in turn allows you to understand what you need to recruit if you have not already got someone in your succession plan. The ability to look at each job title and understand the capabilities required and then cross reference that against what you have internally is not only incredibly useful, but also helps to reduce wasted time and spend with external recruitment. It is very easy to use and you can find all the info you need in a very straight forward user dashboard. I really like it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

There are a couple of small functionalities I would like to see improved, however these are very specific to my business, and as a whole would not make much difference to the majority of users. i am comfortable that this is a well rounded and useful product. "Solution Empowering HR, Managers, and Employees Alike for a skill-based organisation"
What do you like best about SkillPanel?

SkillPanel provides a rich offering of functionalities that, when thoroughly completed and used, gives a comprehensive picture for HR, L&D, Business managers, and employees to work with. There are advantages for each type of user, such as strategic workforce planning for HR, strategic team development planning for business managers and L&D as well as an overview of their own standing and career path opportunities for employees - to name a few. The dashboards are rather easy to use and there is plenty of information and analytics to base decision making on . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

Due to the many functionalities it takes some time and effort to complete all the information on SkillPanel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The future skills forecasting tool is also a great addition that helps with long-term workforce planning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A very powerful tool for Talent Management"
What do you like best about SkillPanel?

DevSkiller is a great tool for making talent initiatives seamless. I love the fact that the processes have been automated, and the predictive functionality helps anticipate future talent fits and development. The availability of a certificate for skill development is also a plus. I like the skill mapping feature too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

There is nothing specific I don't like. But I believe if an AI agent functionality is added to help suggest additional career paths development and skills prediction, it would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Progressive skill matrix for upskilling and reskilling"
What do you like best about SkillPanel?

The top 5 functionalities I find very useful are:

1. Skills map where the skills have nicely been clubbed in clusters knows as skill groups, then drill down to skill areas and sub skill areas. This allows me to quickly get an overview of skills applicable to my role. Also great feature which tells me dependent / independent skills.

2. The recruitment feature is very helpful where I have the Talent booster skill based tests which I use to send to candidates and shortlist basis the requirement of the team.

3. As a manager I have a insights dashboard where I can quickly view top most positions where most employees exist and what is their average fit, also top skills that most my team have and average rating. These are critical data points to understand whether I have the skills in my team and at what level

4. Objective evaluation is possible not just in one way but is several ways through Manager assessment, Expert assessment as well as Talent booster assessment

5. Report builder functionality is great to create ad-hoc reports basis the requirement of the organization.

Overall experience was great, the tool is user friendly and easy for employees to use on a daily basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

The one thing that I would have liked to see in this module is the help section or process explanation.

Also term explanation tags on terms where it shows up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Skills Management Using DevSkiller"
What do you like best about SkillPanel?

DevSkiller is very intuitive and easy to use. It comes pre-populated with many relevant skills, including soft skills, leadership skills, and technical skills. There is also the option to add new skills. The self-report skills assessment is also clear and easy to use, and generates useful data for both employees and managers.

As a manager, it's easy to toggle between the "Manager View" and "Employee View."

It's a useful software to store all of our skills in one easy-to-find place. And apply those skills to many HR applications, including recruitment, learning and development, and career pathing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

The general skills framework could be clearer, with an easier-to-understand grouping of skills. Many companies have their own framework, so it would also be useful to be able to customize the skills framework and also customize the specific skills.

The proficiency scale for the skills is a bit basic. I prefer scales that include behavioural examples, so that it is easier and more objective to score each skill. It would also be useful to include justification for the self-report assessment of skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

RC
"User-Friendly Platform with Robust Skill Assessment"
What do you like best about SkillPanel?

I find DevSkiller incredibly user-friendly, making setup and navigation straightforward. Its accurate skills visibility and comprehensive skill repository are indispensable, especially for non-technical and technical roles, and it significantly boosts employee retention. The advanced skill mapping, insightful skills assessments, and detailed analytics reporting are crucial, and the integration of learning paths enhances user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

I would like to have seen just a little more flexibility when it comes to non-technical positions. I think being able to assess a non-technical person with the skill sets that we require is a good way to put that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It provides clarity, depth, and even insight as to what your team possesses in terms of skills and what is lacking. So you, as a manager, can fill those gaps, ensure complementarity, and deliver excellent work. A manager should be referring to this tool regularly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

Let's make it not too cumbersome for the managers, or else they won't use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
