What do you dislike about DevSkiller?

An area of improvement is probably having a part where announcement can be seen, and embedded calendar where they have the visibility about training or upskilling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DevSkiller?

I genuinely like the employee promotion filter but I wonder if it will be robust enough to support companies like Wipro and BCG considering i work with MNCs and they have plenty of data available.

I like the tableau interface more but also need excel sheet download option if in case i wanna use advance excel or looking for particular information to compare. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DevSkiller?

Not dislike but things which need lil improvement is Promotion categories are subjective and it shouldn't be based on only points . Descriptive and slab category for incentive would be great.

Please add more filters based on skills set and you can have something Boolean sort of to research the position as if we talk about multinational companies , they have plenty of positions.

Career Paths are empty, I was baffled, why is it even here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is DevSkiller solving and how is that benefiting you?

Mainly streamlining the Recruiting and HR Onboarding Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Great for oversight of skills and competencies across teams and functions:

1. Whole-system view of skills and development areas

2. Ability for real-time staff feedback

3. Evidence-based approach for performance management

4. Establishing talent pools/succession plans

5. Deadlines, expiry dates on certificates Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not “dislikes” per say, but:

1. Would be great if the reports could be downloaded/exported

2. Reporting templates/commonly used reports would be beneficial

3. Unclear on how data from other systems would be imported or if it would require manual intervention/HR resource

4. Would benefit from being able to customise terminology/language to fit with large, complex or multi-profession organisations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is DevSkiller solving and how is that benefiting you?

Oversight of skills and talent pool - especially for project and matrix working or training needs analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DevSkiller?

TalentBoost is easy to navigate, includes valuable analytical reports, and comes with over 3000 preloaded skills! It's tapping in to the skills management market which is the future of HR and it's doing it right! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DevSkiller?

It's easy to get overwhelmed with the abundance of information available. While it's user friendly to navigate, I think there could be a few pages that are set up a bit better so that managers aren't overwhelmed with data that may be foreign to them if they don't work with data day-to-day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is DevSkiller solving and how is that benefiting you?

The future of HR is going to be skilled based positions. TalentBoost is solving the issue of "how do we manage that" for HR departments. It gives an easy overview of the skills a workforce has and allows one to compare that to the skills needed. By clearly identifying where there is a skills gap, it gives a recruitment team that exact needs they need to find in a candidate. It's also a great way for managers to understand what their employees are capable of and how those skills could possibly benefit the company in other areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DevSkiller?

The platform is user-friendly and easy to navigate. Modules are comprehensive and have the potential for users to customize them further to meet their needs.

Help guidebooks are very in-depth and useful. Easy to find the information you need.

Overall, the program is very well thought out and intuitive. Great for career mapping and skill tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DevSkiller?

While I like the ability to write reports within the platform, I would like to see a collection of commonly used canned reports as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is DevSkiller solving and how is that benefiting you?

The ability to identify and visualize gaps in training and easily determine how to close those gaps is a huge benefit. Employee skills can be underutilized when you don't have a clear picture of what you have in your organization. DevSkiller provides that clear picture at a glance. What do you like best about DevSkiller?

The best thing that I like about DevSkiller is that the platform considers all of its user - the employee and the employer. I like how easy it is to see the over all skill landscape within the organization. It provides the employer a lot of insight on useful data to improve and streamline their LNOD.

I also love that employees can also be actively involved in their upskilling or career path within the organization. It helps them understand where they are currently and how to move forward with their career - either to upskill or move to a new career altogether.

The fact that you can also set the skillset per position, and all materials that you need to take can be found per role, that I believe is very efficient! Employees can request or their team leaders can easily assign skillset that they need to/can learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DevSkiller?

I'd say its not a dislike but instead more for improvement. The navigation of the platform is actually very straight forward however, there's just a lot things you need to go through before you reach your desired page. Albeit that, I love DevSkiller. The experience is great and is actually what I envisioned for our Skills/Learning Management system to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is DevSkiller solving and how is that benefiting you?

DevSkiller solved a lot of problems for me. First, a lot of our reasons for attrition falls under career progression. Our employees feel that it is the end of the road for them and decides to further their career outside the company. I believe that once the employees understand their current role and skillset and what more they need to do to progress, it will lessen our attrition by half (or more).

Secondly, we have a resource management team who is responsible for all exisiting talents within the organization - by understanding where the company is when it comes to its skills, allocating resources will be more efficient. We can deploy resources for new/existing business with confidence.

Lastly, improvement of overall skillset within the organization. By understanding our strong and weak skillsets, we can create a dynamic approach on how to upskill our employees. This benefits both the employee and the company. It's perfect! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DevSkiller?

The best thing is how easy it makes it for managers and HR to get a detailed overview about the skills in your team. On this basis you can take necessary action and also make your onboarding more efficient. Great basis to upskill your organization, especially when it comes to digital and IT skills. The grading system makes it easy to see where your team is at and which skills have to be improved. This is possible on team basis as well as on individual basis. The biggest benefit for every employee is that it becomes crystal clear which skills need to be learned in order to move into a different position iside the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DevSkiller?

Not everything is self-explanatory. Once you understand it though it can be an amazing tool for you. Additionally I would love to have a clearer distinction between hard and soft skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is DevSkiller solving and how is that benefiting you?

Skill management inside big corporations can be tough, especially when you want to compare between different frontlines and different roles. DevSkiller gives this much need overview. For every employee you have a clear picture about what skills the employee already has and what skills are still missing. I can see where exactly the team is regarding skills and what strategic decisions I have to make in order to make sure they have all the relevant knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DevSkiller?

TalentBoost is one of the best tools I have come across for improving the skillset of our employees. The best part is you can easily design a learning program for your employees with Skill Maps. You can assign it to employees and keep a track of their learning as well as overall organizational skills.

It also comes handy in assessing candidates and employees via TalentScore. The score achieved by them tells about their standing on a particular skillset. I believe skills drive an organization and one can certainly manage organizational skills much better with the help of TalentBoost! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DevSkiller?

As of now, I can't find any dislikes in TalentBoost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is DevSkiller solving and how is that benefiting you?

TalentBoost helps in Talent Management and Skill Management of employees. We can easily keep a track of each individual's learning and skills through this tool. The skills can be created and assigned to employees by their supervisors and their growth can be monitored. It also helps in Succession Planning and assessment. Overall, TalentBoost can bring a total shift in your overall learning, employee engagement and retention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
