I don't like that pictures cannot be downloaded from the app to my phone or tablet and that multiple images can't be uploaded at once. The app can be a little clunky with moving appointments, but the desktop version is top-notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ability to send appointment reminders and see their reply. I also now enjoy the deposit area for appointments, though I have suggestions to make this better. Currently, you can only see the deposit on the computer version by opening the profile up. I would like to be able to see this deposit when hovering over an appointment or when viewing the appointment on a mobile device. I would also like to be able to clear the deposit if a mistake is made rather than have to create a sales transaction and apply it. From my understanding on the lowest account, you don't have the ability to remove a deposit from an account any other way.
I also like being able to colour code the appointments, though my artists always forget what each colour means so maybe if there was a title on the booking when you cover to show or a KEY somewhere easy for them. Not a big deal, to be honest, I just remind them when they ask or they look at the actual tattoo notes.
I like the ability to create a landing page for clients to be able to request appointments and create their own accounts. If you do not have a website already this is a great option for you.
The mobile app works great, it does not include all factors as the website does, but for a quick glance at an appointment or the schedule, it does the trick.
The interface is clean and easy to understand. Booking appointments takes no time, and being able to cancel due to no show is great, (this would be a great spot to remove the credit on file if a no show is checked). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I enjoyed using the forms for clients to book their appointments and add their info to our system, however, on the lowest package, this is not included so we had to create a third-party form and then manually add in the client's details. The cost difference is not worth the forms in my option as we did not require any of their other services included with the price.
I also find the notes section for the appointment to be too short, so I can not tell the artist what the tattoo is in full detail but rather code talk. I ended up creating a third-party profile for all clients. My tattoo artist will go into that program and provide me pricing and time needed and from there I will email the client with that information. When they are ready to book and send their deposit, I will add them into the DaySmart Body Art software, apply their $ deposit as a credit on their account and then book them into the calendar.
On the day of the appointment, my artist will review the third-party application to be reminded about the tattoo. She only checks DaySmart to see what appointment she has that day.
I gave it an 8/10 because it works but it is missing some really key things when it comes to tattoo appointments. I think it could be clearer and much easier for all types of artists to use, making it the number one software for tattoo shops, especially if you are already booked til June 2022.
Please keep in mind, I can only comment on the lowest-priced package. We are in Canada, so the exchange cost for the next package was not worth it for us, plus we were advised not all features work in Canada as this is a US company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

By far my favorite part of the app is being able to switch views from day, to week, to month. It gives me a great visual of what's coming up. Being able to color code my appointments is a great visual too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far, the only downside that even slightly bothers me is the lack of an area in the contact to add an Instagram profile for my clients. Nearly 100% of my clientele comes from Instagram, and I believe it is a critical component of contact information for this day and age. I've submitted this and other ideas to the team to add potentially. I hope they look into some of them and add them in future updates. Also, a direct link to click their IG handle, where it opens the app and automatically brings you to their profile, would be stellar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would like the app and the web version to work the same in functionality and features. It can be tricky hopping from one to the other since the interfaces are so different and because all of the elements cannot be accessed within the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I disliked that you cannot have your forms filled out online but that has been changed since I have had an issue or two with payroll but it has been resolved fairly quickly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
