Being a JAMF 200 technician, I like how this platform has been redesigned to make it more simplified and relevant to our vast estate of Apple devices. From iPads, Macbooks, iMacs, Apple TV's and more, the platform allows us to perform multiple tasks and manage devices seamlessly. Their support model is excellent, with friendly and knowledgeable engineers. Always responding to tickets promptly and, most importantly, providing resolutions the first time around. They have made the profile and build configuration process more straightforward, always listening to our requirements and assisting us best with ideas and solutions. It would be great to have more control in some areas, as most JAMF technicians might be used to. Although I understand this is a fully managed service, it would still be nice to make changes on our own accord without jumping through a few hoops of requests. Also, to be kept in the know of new possibilities when updates from JAMF or Apple are made so we can add or change our configurations on certain devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The process of building Macs works well and Datajars expertise/expertise means we have someone to help with issues and support new requirements which free up our engineers to concentrate on the systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Datajar portal doesn't advise what is contained with our build profiles. The impact of this is that we struggle to understand the configuration of each profile, as these have been created over a number years by multiple engineers.
It would also be nice to have more levels of access permissions to the portal, which would allow our desktop engineers to read and add devices without making changes to builds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Using datajar.mobi has given us an easy to use, quick and efficient method of managing our Apple estate.
We are able to do the majority, if not all tasks ourselves and the support from the tech team is effective and extremely quick to respond for when we need additional help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As we manage both Apple and Windows devices, it would be useful to be able to use some of the applications on other platforms. This is not a problem, just an "ease of use" thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The people behind .mobi are what make it shine. There's plenty of clever technology in the background, but the quality of the support and engineering staff give the service its value. Support responses are typically quick and comprehensive and come from well-trained individuals. Our apps are automatically patched within days of new versions being released, and I can always count on devices being correctly set up with little to no intervention from myself or my team. Some design and configuration choices in the product may be at odds with what some people would like, and sometimes compromises must be made. However, dataJAR will work with you to find a balance that gives you what you need whilst allowing them to continue supporting and scaling the product effectively. You may find this difficult if you're a seasoned Apple admin, but you've got to consider the time freed up by having these guys on your side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the datajar.mobi app allows me to manage all our Apple devices easily via one app. I'm able to do everything on it from updating iPads and push out software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be good if there is an assigned passcode to unlock Lost mode on any iPad in our organisation. Sadly once an iPad is found and is not connected to a wifi network, we can't get into it unless we completely wipe it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The DataJAR team handle the majority of the tasks we ask of them when it comes to managing our extensive collection of Apple devices (iPads, iPhones and Macs) via Jamf. We submit a request and it is responded to in a timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As all Apple devices are managed through DataJAR via Jamf, I don't keep track of new features/upgrades Jamf might introduce in their management system. Some kind of notification regarding new features/improvements would be excellent! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fully managed service, your requests are transformed into workable solutions by the team.
Staff are very knowledgable of their product and always have an answer to our questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have a difficult situation where we need to migrate from one server to another. We realise this is quite niche but it's been particularly difficult and unfortunately Datajar isn't in the best position to help us with this. They've been helpful but not the fully managed solution we are used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We moved to datajar.mobi to help set up and manage our company equipment more easily and quickly. The setup time is less than half what it was and is easier by far; we have great oversight of the team's equipment, including any pending updates and datajar.mobi take care of the day-to-day, which is very valuable to a small IT team with limited resource. I have yet to find something to dislike with the service and products provided. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
DataJAR simplifies the build configuration process for Apple products while having a brilliant, friendly team of support specialists willing to go the extra mile to help solve queries or issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have found nothing to dislike with datajar.mobi regarding its current usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A quick informative response to our Mac-related questions by the Apple experts at DataJar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their hands are tied with some Microsoft specific, but they can always point you in the right direction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
