Top Rated Crowdpurr Alternatives
I've run Trivia events during company functions before, but this platform streamlined the game mechanics in a way that freed-up a good chunk of time for us to really customize the game for our audience <3
For this first time playing with an extra-large group (100+), the manual controls and keyboard shortcuts were a godsend: just being able to press "c" and "r" to reveal the correct answers and team rankings in real-time was so nice -- our game moved very quickly, so I appreciated not having to hunt around on the screen for the right link to click.
We also loved the quick-time-event nature of the points system -- we ended up having a close game between our top two teams in terms of the # of right answers, but it all came down to speed. Having that as an automated scoring factor was super fun (and sophisticated). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When we cast the participant view to the televisons in our coffee bar area, the aspect ratio appeared to be off -- some of the multi-image answer options got cut off. Not sure if there was a way to adjust display settings, but it was only a minor problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I absolutely loved utilizing Crowdpurr for our company event. It was very easy to use. We had a virtual company event of about 50 employees and the platform allowed us to play bingo, trivia and much more. We didn't have to worry about any issues at all. I called in a few times to ask questions and the customer service is wonderful and took the time to answer all my questions.
The platform is very fun and customizable as well; you can create your own trivia questions and insert your own images to the questions. I will definitely use this again for our next virtual company event! Thank you! :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing that I disliked about Crowdpurr. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The instructional videos were short and on point. I created my game in an hour... Was able to build custom questions, upload team photos, custom pictures. The team was able to use the QR code and answer on their phones. It was amazing. I would use it again and we are considering this for our quarterly team meetings. The price is a downside. I don't think it's a high price but we don't need it on a monthly basis. However, they downgrade you to the free plan automatically, which is amazing, no action needed from you and you are not charged a surprised price just because you forgot to autocancel. Crowdpurr is awesome. We used it for our holiday trivia event that had both in-person and remote associates. Everyone had a blast. It provides a generous amount of options and flexibility to ask fun questions beyond just multiple choice or traditional trivia. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tech can be a bit tricky if you are a first time user. The added functionality make it super fun, but a bit more complex than Kahoot or other options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Loved the ease of operating the game from a corporate event perspective. The gifs were so fun, the ability to preview different views was extremely helpful (such as presenter view or participant view), and the quick buttons to toggle between different views manually helped give a seamless game experience for the host and the players. More customization would be great! Particularly for companies that want to white-lable entirely. For example, the animations or sounds when annoucing the winner or font face across the entire game. Please also add a jeopardy feature too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've used Crowdpurr for 3 years in a row at our provider event. I created a trivia game which was fun and became pretty competative as teams were created. Another successful and fun event! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside for me is that I need to somewhat relearn the software each time since I've only used once per year. There are A LOT of options to consider. Otherwise, GREAT tool! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Crowdpurr's free version is sufficient for my weekly trivia, but their paid version gives some very nice features. I like that it has a large catalog of trivia questions to pull from and that you can add images and modify how the trivia works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish that it was possible to use italics in the question presentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really liked that participants didn't need to create an account to play, it helped for sure with high engagement levels.
The controls also made it easy for us to determine crowd winners in real time and to look at voting statistics, which made it very fun as this wasn't a traditional trivia game but something based on art. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Participants had to refresh their browser sometimes to have voting pop up as we had longer periods (6-20 minutes) between questions, but once we knew that was a thing, it worked fine to just tell them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Felxability and ability to use multiple types of scenarios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I had a question with images and it was diffcult to size the images correctly in the space provided. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've used Crowpurr for multiple years at our office holiday parties, which are across mutliple states. It is very user friendly and easy to use and setup. For coordinating a long list of party triva contests it was easy to get everyone invloved. Noone had a problem joining in on the fun. The site has so many fun features that add to the excitement, including a real-time tally board. You can customize everything. I love this site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have any real critics. Not one issue or probem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
