Easy to subscribe for a limited time for just a single event. Very flexible, allows me to control the experience the way I want to. Appreciate the simple ways to customize the branding. I've used it several times for both in-person and virtual events, and it's been a huge hit every time. **What do you dislike about Crowdpurr?** There are so many customization options and settings that it can get a bit overwhelming, though the help resources are very clear, and a couple of times when I needed to contact support because I couldn't figure something out, they responded quickly and clearly. **What problems is Crowdpurr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Keeping audiences engaged during presentations, especially when you're just one small part of a larger event, is always tough. However the thing I like the most is the constant improvement and their interaction with their customers. They literally continue innovating because they take customer suggestion and interaction to heart and I can't say that about many places. **What do you dislike about Crowdpurr?** I think ultimately it is just some bugginess. Because of what they do and by virtue of how fast the backend has to be and all it is doing over the web it sometimes bugs out. Sometimes it hangs on screens, sometimes features just stop working out of nowhere, once in awhile it will log you out. But it is minor, they are small quibbles that usually get solved with a refresh of the browser and in the face of all they provide and how good they are at their jobs these complaints amount to nothing at all. **What problems is Crowdpurr solving and how is that benefiting you?** When COVID hit I almost lost my business and livelihood. I run a trivia company that hosts events in bars. All those closed and I was close to losing pretty much everything. They helped me pivot to online streaming of my product and reach a larger audience. They listened to feature suggestions and upgraded their service as time went on making my job easier and more efficient. It literally saved my bacon in a way I never would have thought and even as vaccination continues and herd immunity inches closer I don't think I'll ever stop using their product, it's that indispensable to me. ### 11. Easy setup. Loafs of easy to import trivia questions plus polling. Better priced than competitors. Very flexible subscription options. Only need Crowdpurr for one month? No worries. You have to re-up every month which means the sub doesn't roll when you don't need it. When you're ready to come back all your games and polls are waiting for you. And the customer service is outstanding. It's rare that I don't get a response within a few hours. Crowdpurr is one of my favorite finds. **What do you dislike about Crowdpurr?** It doesn't yet have a native chat feature which means running another program when hosting virtual events. It's on the Crowdpurr radar so hopefully it will have chat soon. **Recommendations to others considering Crowdpurr:** Get it and never look back. Customer service is top-notch. Never more than 24 hours wait, usually within an hour. The web-based community board is also a great resource for feature requests, use cases, and brainstorming how to use Crodpurr in challenging ways. **What problems is Crowdpurr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Crowdpurr allows me to connect with my clients virtually. I can host trivia via Zoom, use it to allow scavenger hunt players to vote on best submissions and do fun surveys like, Carol Baskin. The alternate forms of media you can load. The Questions database to help get me started with timely and seasonal questions. Support and response from the company is good. **What do you dislike about Crowdpurr?** The lack of ability to look at the entire question set and re-arrange questions. Right now it takes a few clicks and you can only drag-and-drop questions in groups of 10. It would also be nice to add a "round break" question to the mix as I like to load all my questions into one experience. (I know you can do breaks between experiences) When I go to break, I just show the leaderboard, but it would be nice to have a round break that you could enter and maybe insert of video or image (for sponsors) that would play on users devices. Also, add a countdown clock (like when you kick off the event) to the round break "question"...so the end users can see how much time they have. So where you can "Add new question" maybe you can also put in there "Add Round Break" and then have a place where you can have media and a timer. **Recommendations to others considering Crowdpurr:** It's a great way to engage students and attendees! **What problems is Crowdpurr solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's helping sponsors get their brand out there. I'm hosting several virtual trivia nights and one of the hardest things right now for businesses is engagement. I have them speak at the first break of the tournament and tell the end-users that they will reveal answers to upcoming rounds. Then I load in a few questions about the company in the later rounds when the points start to increase. This means if you really pay attention to their product, you'll get free answers. ### 13. At first we were just looking for an online game we could use for team engagement when we started working remotely. The platform was incredibly easy to use, had a good database of trivia, and delivered a fun experience for the team. Everyone loved competing like in bar trivia games. Then we expanded our use to include custom trivia. It was easy to mix and match questions from their bank with our own as well, and we customized questions with logos from our sponsors as well as stock photos from their bank. It was a great looking event with tons of positive feedback from sponsors and players. **What do you dislike about Crowdpurr?** We tested the Livestream option, but the Livestream delay made it too difficult to manage the game. We hosted the game plus a slide show from our office, and players were in their own homes. With the delay, we got feedback and had trouble timing the slides so that the players' trivia questions matched our place in the slide presentation. We ended up just playing the game in projector view on our end and sharing the screen in a Zoom meeting.
