A smooth user interface, easy integration with our existing projects, and truly exceptional support from their customer success team. When we have a question, they are ready with the answer promptly and effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have been using Crowdin for 3+ years and have found that it outdoes the service offered by other companies in multiple ways. The UI is intuitive and minimalistic, which makes it easy for new users to dive straight into work rather than spend time figuring the software out. Most tasks such as keeping track of projects, users, and translations can be accomplished with a few clicks.
The advanced features such as API support, custom ISO language mapping, and integration with external tools like GitHub are both convenient and straightforward to use. Machine translations are a welcome addition to pre-translate the entire project in one go.
Customer support takes the cake. Responses to queries are turned around very fast, and they always go the extra mile to ensure the information is detailed and specific to our needs.
We would recommend them unreservedly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Permission levels for users could be extended to read-only since not all users are translators/proofreaders. Some only use the tool to look up translations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

To anticipate a non-profit project that interests me, exchange information by submitting issues or initial a chat, crowdin also supports 3rd party application log on and data synchronization. No desktop app is required, and system loading is light. You are also entitled for a free project, this is exellent to pratice before buying any commercial membership. The contributor cannot see or archive what's already submitted, credit can be easily erased at any time by unknown one without reason provided. It's somewhat hard to find out a project basic on the page, because it's not mandotary for project owner to do so. Be aware of those project that seems to be a component of the same product, some likely take advantage of the source to cheat on free labour. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I tried different localisation platforms for Open Source Project but none was as good as Crowdin. I like their translation memory and they have the best support for OS Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
None. i found it awesome and have lost of integration but if we can get more customization for PR when integrated to GitHub, it'll be awesome! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Crowdin is flexible while being simple to use. We can use YAML files (native in Rails) and add a layer of collaboration on top of this Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The billing platform could be improved. We always have some hiccup on our renewal date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ability to get translations for langauges I never learned. Adding Crowdin to your software could increase the user audience a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no way to advertise your project on the platform to get more translation support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The feature I love the best about Crowdin is that it allows multiple translators to translate, edit and proofread the same piece of task all at the same time without having to download a client. This is particularly helpful when you have a time-pressing task that takes three or more people to work together simultaneously. With this feature, you are even able to translate with a mobile phone on the go. It gives you so much flexibility. My team loves it!
The other feature that makes day-to-day translation easier is that Crowdin gives members the option to customize the TM reference by sliding the scale of 'showing TM suggestions with a minimum match of %'. This is so handy as we may not encounter the exact same paragraph that repeats itself in different translations but rather paragraphs that come with a mix of existing and new texts. This customization helps save a lot of time for the in-house translation team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When you accidentally clear the input when you're translating, the translation is lost and cannot be retrieved. Can we please do something about this, Crowdin engineers? Minor issue, but it's a bummer everytime it happens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Crowdin allows to setup a fully automated localization process, where the software development team only has to integrate the tool properly into the automated build process and to approve the pull requests coming back. A localization manager manages the translation tasks, proofreading etc. A highlight is the Crowdin customer support. It is well integrated, quick, qualified and always wants to find the best solution for the customer. If necessary they interact with the development team. A great feature is the Crowdin feature request board. We as customers can see, what is going on in terms of development and we can request missing features. My first feature request was implemented within a few months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Context screenshot previews in the translation editor are too small. The translator needs to open and close them to get the context. Maybe they could be shown larger or being enlarged on mouse hover. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
