It was very easy to send messages to multiple people in my Crowdin group. I was also able to easily send invites to members and keep track of who joined. Translation process was smooth, lots of options and easy to understand, and I was able to easily upload files and keep track of progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I had trouble figuring out how to accomplish tasks like bulk downloading translated files or how to find contact information for members. I was able to eventually figure it out, but I felt like it was not too self explanatory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Crowdin is its user-friendly interface coupled with robust features that streamline the localization process. The platform supports a wide range of file formats and integrates seamlessly with various development tools, making it incredibly efficient for managing multilingual content. Additionally, the real-time collaboration and strong community support enhance productivity and ensure high-quality translations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One aspect I dislike about Crowdin is that the pricing can be a bit steep for smaller businesses or projects with limited budgets. Additionally, the initial learning curve can be somewhat challenging for new users who are not familiar with localization platforms. While the interface is generally user-friendly, navigating through some advanced features can feel overwhelming without proper guidance or prior experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Crowdin allows for highly accurate real-time collaboration with sensical, easy-to-follow organization and troubleshooting menus.
Collaboration and issue identification are a breeze, contributor performance is clear, and data recovery and update processes are smooth and responsive.
It is a huge achievement for a collaboration tool to be so easily understood across a massive array of languages and cultures, matching its purpose. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Depending on the project, training others to locate the correct menu/page can be difficult due to slight ambiguity on what each section is specifically for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Crowdin's ability to segment Markdown files was crucial in translating the documentation of our open source projects. Most alternatives treat Markdown as a single translation unit, making it hard for translators to spot differences when new changes are committed to the file.
Moreover, machine translation capabilities make it much more convenient for translators, who adopt a bit of a reviewer role. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The dashboard is a bit hard to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

How easy it is to manage translations and integrate that into projects. At the beginning I had problems figure out why newly uploaded strings get automatically translated, but after a quick chat with the support team, it was as easy as clicking delete on a default workflow. All in all very intuitive platform for the most part and very useful too, with great options for integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not a lot of documentation about implementation in frameworks such as React. Luckily using Crowdin CLI with "crowdin init" command is pretty straight-forward, however i found it difficult to figure out how the path for the source file in our React project needs to look in the online platform in order for "crowdin download" to work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like most about Crowdin is that it works really well with other applications we use like GitHub. We can work together in time, and thus translate assignments as fast as possible. Its multilanguage support is really quite comprehensive and with its various features make it easier to manage more projects. The presence of updates is a great advantage since it requires no additional manual translation management as is the case with Crowdin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I don’t like about Crowdin is that they get expensive pretty quickly, especially if you deal in large projects. It has lots of features, but we sometimes reach a limit with some features and we have to upgrade our plan. This effected our budget, and caused us to evaluate just what features we really needed for our projects. And there have been the occasional syncing delays with files that were larger. Crowdin is a powerful tool for managing translations in app development. Features like real-time collaboration, repository integration, and in-context translation streamline workflows and reduce errors. It’s an essential platform for teams aiming for high-quality localization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface can feel cluttered and unintuitive, especially for new users. Workflow customization is limited, and the notification system could be more focused to help prioritize important updates. With these improvements, Crowdin could become even more user-friendly and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. Easy to use, both for managers, engineers and translators. Our engineering team finds it pretty handy to integrate Crowdin into our existing CI/CD workflow. And inviting external translators is also simple - just send them links. Crowdin has solution for all our needs even before we notice we have it.
2. Blazing fast customer support. We get feedback in several minutes and the accurate answer/solution is included. Fantasy experience.
3. Professional. Crowdin has built-in support to hint non-technical translators about the placeholder(%s, for example) and special characters, this help prevent tons of communication cost.
4. Translation service and AI service integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Directly inviting others with email does not work sometimes. I find the invitation links always work properly.
2. The online editor seems to consume pretty high computer memory, I keep getting reports from translators that their computers got stuck on opening the editor, sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I liked the UI and how easy and strightforward to our team to send words in the portal Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
