## Crowdin Reviews
 ### 1. Collaboration is a Breeze

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ronaldo L. | QHSE Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

It is super easy to use in collaborating with a lot of people doing the same things.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The site is not very appealing although functionality is really good.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Difficulty in collaboration which is easily solved by Crowdin. Duplication and second-guessing is eliminated.

 ### 2. A complete tool for big and small developers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

It supports "plurality" and is widely used by big companies, which makes it easier to find solutions online for encountered issues.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The UI is not always very intuitive. I wish there was a field to write notes about the translation with other contributors (or perhaps that is already there, and I have not found yet).

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping to solve the complexity of i18n.
Machine translations have great quality.
It is cheaper to pay people to proofread than to translate and proofread.

 ### 3. Efficient and Well-Structured Translation Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Johannes J. | Senior Full Stack Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin provides a well-structured and intuitive UI that makes managing translations easy. The combination of automated translations and contributions from native speakers ensures high-quality results while speeding up the localization process. The workflow is seamless, allowing us to organize and review translations efficiently, making it a great tool for scaling our platform internationally.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Occasionally, Crowdin mismanages translation keys, which can cause issues in the final implementation. While this doesn’t happen often, it requires manual intervention to fix, which can be time-consuming. Other than that, the platform generally works smoothly and reliably.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin helps us sync with native-speaking experts to ensure high-quality translations while also enabling us to track progress in real time. This structured approach ensures that nothing is overlooked and that all content is translated properly, ultimately improving the user experience for our international customers.

 ### 4. Fast and excellent support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The UI and UX are excellent and intuitive, making it easy to navigate without any confusion. There is a wide range of addons available, like GitLab Self-Managed integration, as well as support for many different formats, even .ts for our Qt-Apps. We use it almost every week when translation updates to any of our many Apps are needed and have given light access to a professional translation agency. I was particularly impressed by the fast and personalized support, as responses were tailored to my questions rather than generic replies. Although the predefined packages did not meet our needs, we were able to assemble a small custom package that worked for us.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The GitLab Selfmanaged Integration has room for improvement. For example the setup process can be made easier. Also it currently creates a separate commit for each language, but it would be better if it could generate a single commit for all languages instead.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin assists us in translating our websites and Qt-Apps into multiple languages and integrates seamlessly with our version control system, GitLab Self-Managed. Additionally, we required the ability to provide access to a professional translation agency, which Crowdin makes possible.

 ### 5. Crowdin revolutionized our localization process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin is truly an all-in-one localization platform — translation memories, term bases, glossaries, automation — everything is built in and works seamlessly together. The platform is intuitive, reliable, and scales effortlessly with our projects.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Some notification integrations keep disconnecting such as Slack.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall, Crowdin has been a key factor in improving both the quality and speed of our localization. I’d highly recommend it to any team looking to professionalize and scale their localization efforts.

 ### 6. A solid backbone for scaling multilingual products

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John X. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin has become a key part of how we ship Taskade in multiple languages fast and without friction.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Crowdin strikes a great balance between developer workflows and contributor experience. The Git-based sync fits right into our CI/CD pipeline, and the live previews plus string context make life easier for both our team and external translators. It just works.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin solves the complexity of keeping multilingual content in sync across platforms and contributors. Before, localization was a bottleneck—manual, error-prone, and slow. Now it’s baked into our development process. Translators work in parallel, changes sync automatically, and we ship updates in multiple languages without added overhead. It’s helped us scale global releases without scaling our ops.

- Localizing web and mobile apps

- Managing translation workflows across teams

- Collaborating with external translators

- Automating translation updates via Git integration

 ### 7. Crowdin is a great tool for community-driven localization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ergo . | Open-source software project maintainer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin is simple to use and reduces the barrier to entry for those who wish to help localize but do not have the technical knowledge. It offers a wide range of features, including AI-assisted suggestions, quality assurance tracking, an easy way to import and export translations, and a GitHub integration. Perhaps one of the best things about Crowdin so far is my experience with customer support. Their responses are really quick and have been very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I would appreciate if Crowdin had a built-in tool to see what people's suggested translations roughly translate to in the source language (e.g. Simplified Chinese -> English). Perhaps there is a way to do this already but I have not been able to find it in the UI.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, as a software developer, I had no easy way to find how much of the source text was localized or outdated. It was also not straightforward to contribute to the software's localization as the files were in a git repository, which not many people visit or now how locate and suggest changes to. Crowdin solves all of these problems by providing a platform where people can easily find which parts of the software is still not translated and contribute. As an administrator to the project, it is much easier for me to notify people of changes in the source text and keep track of the status of all languages my application is localized in.

 ### 8. A blessing for structured translation management, but with a bit of a learning curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin gives us clear management and overview of all translation projects, saving time and reducing errors. The AI-powered pre-translations speed up our workflows significantly. We also love the versatility — Crowdin integrates smoothly into different parts of our development and content pipelines. Highly recommended for teams looking for a flexible and efficient localization platform.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Crowdin has a bit of a learning curve, and a permissions model that is relying on one individuals account which is getting in the way of sharing responsibilities among the teams.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our product contains of very industry specific language, and is changed often. With many stakeholders in multiple countries, Crowdin is allowing us to manage localization between all these different stakeholders, and keep one single source of truth for our translations. Regardless of which product or end goal they are used for. It has relieved a lot of headaches, back and forth, and translation management issues.

 ### 9. Excellent Localisation Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin supports does a great job of supporting the modern localisation data formats we need for the apps we're building -- eg, the xcstrings format -- which allow the translator more control over plurals and grammatical agreement. The Crowdin API / command line tools were easy to integrate into our project to perform continuous localisation. Every build we do submits new and changed strings to Crowdin automatically.

We also really like the powerful screenshot support, which makes it easy to correlate strings in our database to their actual use within the UI.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Crowdin Language Services could be clearer about the quality of translation provided. From the Task user interface, it indicates that the translation is automatic, with human review? -- but if so the prices seem high. We want full human translation, so in the end we've opted to go with another translation service -- but still using the great Crowdin platform.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin solves the problem of managing continuous localisation for us. Modern software need to ship frequently -- we put out feature releases every month, and bug fix releases more often -- and every release can have a number of updated strings. We need a way to manage that flow of incremental work to our translators so that localisation doesn't slow our releases.

 ### 10. Flexible translations platform from a company open to innovation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Translation and Localization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

From a linguist's perspective, I've appreciated most of all the ability to add context, flag uncertainties or errors, and send messages, since context is vital in the language pair I work with (EN-FR). The ease of adaptability to various screen sizes, is also helpful, since it permits working on the go. From a manager's perspective, the ability to split and assign files to translators, and track their progress, has been a huge help in completing larger projects faster. Finally, as a solution architect, I've appreciated the very rapid responses to all our customer support emails. The API implementation is quite extensive, and it's helpful that so many AI models can plug in to Crowdin. Over all, I've appreciated that customer support has been open to our suggestions based on our use-cases.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The main difficulty for us was integrating our linguists, but I imagine this won't be the same story across the board, because most were new to professional translation platforms. For anyone with prior experience, Crowdin should be fairly intuitive. My main criticism (and it's picky) would be that some of the AI implementations can prove difficult to work with, as the prompts are highly complex and require fairly high power compared to the models which we tend to use. Our main issues have been with attention dilution.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin is serving as a source of truth and safeguard for the quality of our translations. Since we leverage a volunteer workforce, we have a wide variety of backgrounds, and Crowdin helps us build consistency in our public image.

 ### 11. Great tool it made our life much easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria C. | CRM Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

We recently moved all our translations to crowdin and connected it to our repositories. Now it is so much easier to add translations, review them, change them when we need to! Also everytime we have a question, Support team is there to answer us. We still have a lot to explore and looking forward of using all the other features crowdin offers.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Nothing really. We can even suggest new features

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They introduced last year a Multilingual Editor View which really helped us a lot as we handle so many languages. We are definetely saving a lot of time.

 ### 12. Great service with its own nuances

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin has definitely accelerated our localization process — I can hardly imagine such a fast entry into new markets without your service. I see clear advantages compared to how we used to do it manually.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

We've had some integration issues. Our integration with Customer.io broke, so we had to manually transfer all the push notifications, which was a hassle.

The filtering system isn't very convenient either, and the push notification alerts are particularly frustrating. For example, our translator reviewed a build and made 300 edits, leaving me 300 comments. But when I opened the notifications tab, everything was marked as read, so I had no idea where her comments ended. I'd really consider improving how comments are displayed and handled to make the experience smoother.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of managing multiple localizations. Right now, our app speaks five languages, and we’re planning to expand to new markets. The way Crowdin is structured really helps with that.

 ### 13. Effortless Navigation and Clear Status Make Project Management a Breeze

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Easy to navigate between project, status and logs are clear

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

No easy to have full context of the translation strings, and to look up back from the translation output to original sources are not always easy

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help with multi platform translation

 ### 14. Building, growing, and supporting the community — together.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

From open source project creation to Crowdin I18n project setup, as well as the dedicated support from Crowdin’s service team and open source program — all of these have contributed to the growth of the open source community.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The guidance for integrating with GitHub CI/CD or merging branches is not clear enough.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking for a solution that could track translation volume and progress, while also allowing the community to contribute to translations — and that’s exactly what Crowdin provides for us.

 ### 15. Smart, accessible and well priced translation management solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Translation and Localization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Very good value for money and user friendly. Easy to integrate with other tools, AI and machine translation. Offers a wide range of pricing options for different needs.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I think it’s more suitable for freelancers or direct clients. Some features designed for language service providers (translation companies that outsource) could be improved.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a translation company, we use it mainly as a CAT tool, supported by AI and machine translation integrations.

 ### 16. Easily translated my web extension to 24 languages using Crowdin

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I was previously using web-ext-translator, but the CLI stopped working for me and it didn't offer automatic translations, for example from Google translate, so I had to find an alternative. Thanks to Claude AI, I discovered Crowdin and it was a game changer for 2 essential reasons: firstly, it not only offered 3-rd party translation services from the likes of DeepL, Microsoft Translator, Google Translate and more, but it also comes with AI translations; secondly, the integration with GitHub makes it easy to bring translations into my project. Lastly, but not least, support is good and it was all free for my modest needs.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

On a minor note, I found the documentation to be lacking sometimes, but support makes up for this. I also would have liked to test other integrations (there's a ton on offer), but the price jump is quite steep for an indie developer.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin allows me to easily translate my cross-browser web extension in numerous languages, thus substantially increasing my target audience. I get powerful translation capabilities at a modest cost or even free to start with.

 ### 17. Easy UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

AI integration!
And the fact that you can feed it with terminology.
It works wondefully well and helps with productivity.

Ease of use and agreable UI/

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Might be a versioning issue but I have no reference to the source of the translation in the TM which can be a little annoying when we need to clean it. No notion of ICE match either which is helpful in other systems.

I find it a little rough to have a free version, and once you pass this threshold it becomes rather expensive. We are a startup with limitted use. We can go on months without using it. It would be better to have a lower subscription for clients like us.
Paying a subscription should have helped the workflow as our translator can access it now at the same time as the project manager but no. Features are so restricted for the translator that we still using the same sign-in. This is rather inconvenient for us.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of use, modern looking UI.

 ### 18. Very businesslike

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

It's a tremendous Free training platform to practice translations in your language and get practiced. I found Crowdin to be a great platform and boon for entry-level translators.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I have been associated with them for the past 3 years or something, used to complete the translation review the moment I receive. One of my LSP wanted to have a certificate for the level of my translation from some reputed companies I work with. I requested to TWB (Free service) which they provided immediately. I then requested to provide a similar certificate from CrowdIn (Free service) which they refused, they said they donot have any such system to issue any certificate.

I stopped spending my precious time with CRowdIn anymore. Sorry

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How and where to use the tags during the translation. When you practice the free translations, you will learn how to apply tags which makes the translation perfect.

**Official Response from Diana Voroniak:**

> Thank you for your great feedback! 🌟 We’re glad our webinars and training are helping you grow as a translator. It’s awesome to hear you’re happy with our support team too.

 ### 19. A rather intuitive interface with very helpful people filling in the gaps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Siderite Z. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I like the idea of a community translation site and the site is pretty easy to use, despite a lot of functionality that I am not yet familiar with. But what I like best was that the people from Crowdin were quick to give good help as soon as aI asked.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I think that if one makes the effort to set up a project, they also take the time to go through the various functionalities and how they work. Not so for people who want to translate, and they are sometimes confounded by the interface. Best single example: people see their translations persisted, so they assume the don't have to press the Save button.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a software developer and so I have no skills towards translation. Crowdin makes it very easy to manage that, as well as gives me options to download the result in JSON format, which I can then use directly in the web site.

 ### 20. Streamlined translation tool for global teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I like that Crowdin is easy to use, simple to set up, and makes collaborating with translators much faster.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I dislike that some integrations require extra setup and can be confusing for new users at first.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin solves the challenge of managing and tracking translations across multiple languages by providing one centralized platform, which has saved us time, reduced errors, and ensured our web pages are consistent and accessible for a global audience.

 ### 21. I'm the eng lead that implemented i18n on our trading app and used Crowdin for storing them.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Iurie N. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

For me the free machine translation was the most liked by our team, compared to competitors it's easier to have something usable in lower time.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I don't like how the tab system work in the dashboard, it is counter intuitive how to create translations and the base file language should be clearly separated by the translations. Also, when downloading the translations it's hard to get the correct folder/file structure you want (eg: en.json, de.json, etc.). Also, approval and save of the translations has a poor UX you don't understand when something is saved and can be downloaded.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We internationalised our trading app, and we needed a product for storing translation files and for having a quick go to market time, this was achieved by using the useful machine translations with ease.

 ### 22. Seamless transition to Crowdin enhanced our localisation process

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** George A. | Product Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

We had been using an outdated tool for some time, and last year, after a planned scaling, we realized our current tool was not going to suffice. After analyzing competitors, we determined that Crowdin best fit our needs.

We sought an easy-to-use UI, scalable pricing plans, OTA syncing, some specific iOS and Android integrations, and Crowdin delivered on all these aspects. Furthermore, even when we started small by testing the integration in small batches, the customer support and development teams were top-notch, always available to assist and guide us.

We are glad we made the switch and will continue using it for all our systems.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Their AI translator could use some improvement on some languages. But they offer other AI integrations, so that is good.
It has a steep learning curve especially for non tech persons.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of our biggest issues switching to Crowdin was trying to integrate OTA updates into Support & Dev team at Crowdin quickly helped us with our specific needs.

 ### 23. Seamless translation tools that work in every language

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** neeharika w. | Marketing Specialist, Apparel & Fashion, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Using crowdin means to feel like a super organized assistant with a tricky parts of translator content. So whether it's apps, websites or even games you need to make the content available in various languages. Though it connects with many tools like github, google play and figma, The whole process seems smooth and seamless.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

If you are new to localization or not very tech savvy, it might take some time to figure out how everuthing works. also with so many integrations setting them up might require some intitial effort, especially if you're not familiar with tools like APIs or CLI.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What stand out most for me is that the simplification of the localization. It translated words and makes sure that the content should look easy and natural. The real time preview is however amazing but machine learning and quality checks makes the translation accurate.

 ### 24. Perfect tool to work on multilingual contents and Colloborate with the world

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arasakumar T. | Head of Engineering | Business Excellence Manager at FLSmidth Chennai , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

It is not new. But, The percentage of completion is always gives a boost and sort of motivation to complete the pending task

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Maybe I prefer a colourful page to a monochromatic one.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can work concurrently. This is one of the most significant needs; undoubtedly, Crowdin is at its best. The software can be translated located at a time. It does gives the completion status and you don't need followups.

 ### 25. Decent Features, But Usability Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Translation and Localization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Translation tool itself is not too bad, especially with Comfortable view. I like accessibility to translations in other languages

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Not very user-friendly outside of translation space, no breaking spaces, freezing often/load times too long

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I just translate.

 ### 26. I am very satisfied with Crowdin’s translation service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I appreciate the glossary and automatic language translation features, as they significantly accelerate the translation process.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

The paid plans are overpriced, and I think the free token limit needs to be higher.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The automatic integration of translations into my service has been very convenient, and managing my team of translators has become much easier.

 ### 27. Good Application for translation ,but still missing some main features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Itai B. | Frontend Team leader, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The application is nice and looks good, with nice browsing for strings
the duplication of keys is a nice feature
working with JSON files is a bit tricky
I'm using it almost on a daily basis m when adding new projects or features, and finding bugs and issues.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Batch action for stuff like stop hiding strings
we are working with external tool for uploading json files in & out from crowdin
which makes the sync a bit harder
the duplication is also hiding some strings which we need in production and it's a pain to bring them back.
add more options for batch actions , for searches by date for example
to search what's new,
customer support is not easily used and found in the application

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we use it mainly with external translation team , to support multi language in the applications

 ### 28. Very useful and simple for the users and also for devs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jakub K. | Trenér, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I really enjoy and am happy for the automatic corrections in code and translations, the integration of the compiler and the general simplicity of using such a comprehensive tool.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

At most, the integration of AI could help the whole process even better.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am helping to my favorite apps translating them to my language and for users from my country. So many thank yous received for it.

 ### 29. The best platform for multilanguage software localization ever

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gianfranco R. | Software & Cloud Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

CrowdIn really speeds up the localization process of our applications in ufirst. The dashboard provides an immediate way to track the progress of the translation for each language, and the integration is so simple.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

We are pretty sure CrowdIn fits our needs well, and we have no issues at all!

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have different pieces of software (backend and frontend apps) that needs to be translated for our users. Our customers are located in different zones of the world (mainly in Italy, Spain and Ecuador). CrowdIn helps us extract and manage translations for all those software components, delegating to a specific translation team the localization of each word/phrase. The extraction of all the words/phrases to translate is automated via GitHub at development time.

 ### 30. Crowdin is a good enough translation partner

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valentin P. | SE Implementation manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The ability to log in quickly and apply changes easily

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I'm not sure if it's a Crowdin thing, but it's hard to get context on what is it that you're translating

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to this tool our PMS can operate in dozens of countries. This brings great economical benefits to our company of course

 ### 31. Provides our translation team autonomy to translate our software without requiring developer time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The best thing about Crowdin is the ability to integrate it into all our different systems, and once integrated, the translators have full autonomy to translate everything.

Integration was straightforward and we have had no need to revisit it or make any changes.

All language changes made are automatically synced to Crowdin, and the translators are notified when additional things need to be translated.

We use it almost every day, for translation of marketing emails and products.

Without Crowdin, the whole translation process was very complicated, with lots of back and forth between translators and developers. It has saved us a huge amount of time and effort. We wouldn't be able to scale the translation of our products without it. It is one of the best products we use within the company.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

There are some odd UI quirks. For example, in the Customer.io integration, there is a campaign folder called Unfinished Checkout, and inside are email-1, email-2, etc.

When using the search to find the Unfinished Checkout folder, the folder is then displayed as empty, because none of the emails inside match the search term, and so they cannot be selected.

This essentially renders the search useless. You have to delete the search term and then scroll to the folder to select the emails.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of translating our marketing emails, software products and sales pages.

Without Crowdin, the whole translation process was very complicated, with lots of back and forth between translators and developers. It has saved us a huge amount of time and effort. It has allowed us to scale the translation of our products into multiple languages.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Nothing. It's all very handy and intuitive.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time and showcasing ideas best

 ### 33. Practical experience from a developer's perspective

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wojciech C. | Senior Software Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

What I like most about CrowdIn:

- Automation-Friendly: Git and CI/CD integrations
- Format Support: Handles mobile (XML, Strings) and web (JSON, YAML, HTML) formats natively.
- Branching Support: Works well with version control systems, allowing localization per feature branch.
- SDKs & APIs: Enables dynamic translation updates and custom workflows.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Initial Setup: Requires time to configure project structure, file mappings, and integrations.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's providing single source of truth for localisation content in our products.

 ### 34. Effortless to Use and Navigate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Easy tool to work with and you can find your way through in an easy way

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Sometimes I feel like some updates actually make the product worse, but usually they are improved later on. I also think Crowdin could improve its translation suggestions for European Portuguese.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin is helping me localising whatever I need in a much faster way as time goes by.

 ### 35. Reliable, multilingual-ready, and enhanced with solid AI translation support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin makes it very easy to manage localization at scale, especially for teams working across many languages, we use it with over 20. Its interface is intuitive, the branching support fits well with agile workflows, and integrations with GitHub and CI tools help us keep translations up-to-date automatically. The AI-powered translation suggestions are a great addition — LLMs often outperform traditional machine translation significantly.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

While Crowdin is powerful, the pricing model can become a bit expensive for smaller teams or open source projects. Also, some features like translation memory management could be more user-friendly or better documented for non-technical users.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin streamlines our localization across 20+ languages, saving time and reducing errors. The AI suggestions are often more accurate than traditional MT, which helps us ship quality content faster.

 ### 36. ِAn easy to use platform that makes managing and reviewing translations simple and efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I like how user-friendly Crowdin is and how it makes collaboration on translations smooth and organized

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Sometimes the interface feels a bit overwhelming at first, but once you get used to it, it’s very effective

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin helps centralize and streamline the translation process, making collaboration faster and ensuring consistent, high-quality results across all languages

 ### 37. Hard to handle but very powerful!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen A. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I love the power and all the possibilities offered by the application. Notably, the continuous integration via Symfony cloud.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I had difficulties understanding the overall operating logic during my testing phases. The process generated. The principle of purchasing translation via AI was not clear either.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The translation of our application via AI and external translators as well as the upcoming collective work on these translations.

 ### 38. Easy-to-use for all

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Interface is easy to use and to understand, even for people who have never used a TMS before. Creating projects and tasks is simple. Adding people to projects is easy and done efficiently, and notifications work very well. The Slack integration is great for receiving notifications without getting a full inbox.
Customer support answers quickly and is very helpful.
We use Crowdin everyday for our work. We discover new things that help our efficiency and make it easy for our freelancers to work with us. Great product that I highly recommend.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

It would be great if the proofreading green circle could be removed from the editor view for translators who are not proofreading. Avoids confusion.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a concise translation memory for all our languages. Tasks are solved faster. Communication between linguists and managers made easier.

 ### 39. Not satisfied

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Gambling & Casinos | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

The thing i like about Crowdin is that it is easy to use, easy to integrate and communication to crowdin team is always helpfull.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

I wanted to have a ci/cd integration with crowding, there are many options but making it with cli worked best form me. But there is some bug on your side and it's been more than a month i am waiting for it to be solved...

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing locales

 ### 40. Crowdin has been really helpful for our team!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

In the past all our translations had to go through developers. This often resulted in typos and just took a lot of extra time. Since we started using Crowdin, the PO has been able to change translations whenever needed, which has saved everyone's time.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Duplicate key handling. We have had to think of some workarounds in cases where the translation is different but the nested key is the same as an earlier one, because Crowdin automatically uses the existing translation. This could also be a user-problem, since we are still new to Crowdin and still partly figuring it out. :)

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin is solving our earlier problem of developers having to write translation strings themselves. Developers also had to copy and paste existing translations so that non-developers could see and suggest changes to them. Now it's easy for non-developers to see and update translations on Crowdin.

 ### 41. Amazing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peiwen C. | Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin makes working with translators, developers, and project managers seamless. The ability to comment, suggest, and approve translations in one place has improved the quality of our content significantly. Great platform for global teams!

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Nothing really. The ability to comment, suggest, and approve translations in one place has improved the quality of our content significantly.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to comment, suggest, and approve translations in one place has improved the quality of our content significantly.

 ### 42. Crowdin is a mess

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

There is many integrations, a lot of documentation, and maybe only one product which can solve multilingual problems

Support is good tho

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Interface is a complete mess, not easy at all, you cant work with translations easily, you cant migrate translations between project easily or import strings, and so on and so on

Role management is a complete mess. Developer for example can add GitHub integration and need to waste account admin time for no reason

Integrations also is not easy, my developer said that he cant implement it easy without complex and long development process, but he was lazy, maybe we cant count on it at all

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At our startup we did a multilingual support. So our users can use product in their own langauges

**Official Response from Diana Voroniak:**

> Thanks for the honest feedback. We’d love to learn more about your setup and the specific blockers you faced with migrations and GitHub integration. Was the main issue around string transfer between projects or access permissions?

Please feel free to reach out directly at support@crowdin.com or diana@crowdin.com — we’re here to help and open to improving with you.

 ### 43. Great for Intercom Help Center translations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Iryna S. | Product Expert, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

We’ve been using Crowdin to manage translations for our Chinese Help Center, and it’s been a game-changer. The platform makes it easy to integrate and organize Intercom content, translate using MT or AI, and track progress in real time. What I love most is how seamless it is to maintain consistency across all our articles while also ensuring accuracy. It’s helped us keep our localized content clear, polished, and aligned with the rest of our resources.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

We occasionally face issues with images or certain formatting types during integration, but Crowdin provides a detailed error log that makes troubleshooting easier. Plus, the option to download the HTML and re-use it wherever needed is a great fallback.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin simplifies the complexity of managing translations by providing a centralized platform to handle our multilingual content for our Intercom Help Center.

 ### 44. Decent enterprise solution for translation management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Aviation & Aerospace | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Has a lot of nice features for managing translations, including support for complex projects with multiple translation sources. In-context localization feature is also very useful.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Github integration creates a lot of pull requests, maybe there's a setting to improve this.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Translation management

 ### 45. Using Crowdin to translate our SaaS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

AI translation suggestions are making my life easier and faster.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Have to click on two buttom to "Save" my new translations - not intuitive at all.
1. Select String
2. Save
I would prefer as on Google drive the Save by default and the ability to come back to the previous version of a word translation if necessary

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Translating my SaaS platform into multiple langage.

 ### 46. Versatile and usable, but with room for improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stefan O. | Senior Translation Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

What I like is the possibility to combine all sorts of filters, e.g. segments translated but not confirmed, by a certain user etc. This good for working together with other translators on a project. It also makes it possible to find segments meeting very specific conditions which is good for reviewing things during projects.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

There are three things I find irritating:

1. When I work in a list of segments that results from a combination of filters (e.g. segments translated but not confirmed, last changed by a certain user etc.), and I save a different translation for a segment, or confirm a segment, that segment will drop out of my list as soon as I go one page forward or back. If I later want to change something in that segment, it can be very hard to find it again, especially if I don't translate one specific text but segments from a number of text files that I want to check for consistency. I would like a setting that enables me to retain my original list of segments regardless of edits or status changes until I explicitly leave that list. Ideally, it would be possible to save such a list so I could interrupt work on those segments and resume on another day.

2. When I go through segments that have already been translated (e.g. pre-transalted per machine translation), make changes and confirm a segment, it doesn't confirm the changes I made but the existing text. Confirming my changes required an extra step. This doesn't make sense to me - if I make changes, of course I want to save/confirm my newest version and not the one I found and saw the need to change.

3. The display options are nice, but the colour themes are a bit 'pale' - I haven't found a setting that allows me to make the active segment stand out more. As things are, every time I return to the translation screen (after I've looked something up elsewhere), I need to make a conscious effort to scan the screen in order to find the active segment. If I could set screen colours individually and save my own colour schemes or layouts, the eye would automatically be directed to the active segment. This would make it much easier for me to work in Crowdin, especially if I have to interrupt frequently to look things up in dictionaries, legal texts or compare the text to the relevant UI. Making finding your place on the translation screen as easy as possible would save me quite some energy in the long run.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Producing and maintaining consistent translation for the documentation my company provides for our software products.

 ### 47. Crowdin: a good tool for managing translations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I like the possibility to create Tasks with clear information easily visible, such as wordcount, due date, languages needed. Great that you can add screenshots too, for context.
Also you can select whether your translations will be performed by your own translators or external ones.
The nice overview shown in the Board to see progress of single Tasks.
The integration with Figma adds value to the tool.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

It's not super user-friendly/intuitive at the first sight. You need to actively use it quite a while before become familiar with the tool.
A few developers in our organization find it hard the first time to follow your guidelines to open Tasks.
Tasks have to be opened one by one for each language, while we could have a single Task in multiple languages.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Crowdin we avoid manual work, we improve consistency thanks to its translation memory and glossary, we all (developers, translators, translation manager) work with a single tool.

 ### 48. Great tool with really all the functions we need and even more

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin K. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Simple interface, easy configuration, extensive features, and super easy integration of AIs and external systems.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

So far, I really haven't discovered anything yet. Whenever we thought that a certain function was not available, we briefly read the documentation and realized: The function does exist after all.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted an easy-to-use tool that can translate our various file formats using AI and a review process by our subsidiaries. Crowdin can accomplish this without any problems.

 ### 49. Easy workflow to manage translations in your application

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julian G. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

I like to have one central place to manage the translations of our application. We are multiple teams with different backgrounds but we all quickly learned how to use Crowdin.
We have some custom integetrations running with the API or usage of plugins. This gives us the flexibility to use crowdin in a way that that follows our workflow.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

Sometimes the navigation can be overwhelming. Getting from the project view, over tasks to the specific translation files and keys took some time to get used to. But I got used to it, learned it and now thats not a problem.

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing translations for multiple apps/websites with multiple teams.

 ### 50. Translating the UI of a web app

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Crowdin?**

Crowdin is definitely useful to coordinate the translation efforts of a distributed team.
Using it is definitely not complex and onboarding of new team members pretty straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Crowdin?**

- having to check email and get the verification code in order to login is pretty unconvenient
- navigating the interface may sometime be a bit confusing
- having to click "Save" instead of relying on autosaving/versioning
- TM and MT suggestions are often not diplaying

**What problems is Crowdin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crowdin enables me to contribute translation of my company project in my native language.
This is achieved with minimal communication and coordination in a seamless, constant, asynchronous processe.
