CrowdIn's interface is easy to use. The label function is convenient, and the filter options are helpful. I like the task management setup and linguist communication functions like the message board. They help keep the team on task and in the loop. Running machine translation is a breeze as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a lack of security features on CrowdIn. You cannot restrict linguists to certain files. They either have full access to the project and files, or they have none. There are many times when I need linguists to stay within a certain task or label, and there's no way to do it. There is a "restrict access to task" feature in options, but it doesn't work well at all.
One of my biggest complaints is that there is not better ability to import multilingual files. That's a pretty common format in the translation industry so it doesn't make sense that it's not better supported. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Code Editors are great, but the way Crowdin created the tool to easily translate strings and long text, plus built-in translator that helps, especially with previously translated projects, is just pure art. I love it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would think, maybe the pricing could be a bit lower or offer the free version with better benefits. Beside of that, the only thing I could say is, maybe a new design? :P Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's so easy to make the suggestion to make any adjustments. Also so easy to accept or decline all of them. Use this tool everyday more than a few times per day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing to mention, everything is really cool. The only small thing - too many emails about the each change on the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Good UX, excellent support, great integration capabilities, and supports all kinds of translation workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Because it's so powerful, it has a lot of settings that can be intimidating to administrate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to create and manage projects, give context to translators, various views in the editor, rather quick and simple menus to go through, very quick support.
Although I wasn't involved in that process, we have been able to integrate Crowdin with Git to automate the exchange between source files and translation files and easily use the translations in our product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We miss an option to automatically fill all similar untranslated strings when we've added a translation (and now use pre-translation for that sometimes, which is not ideal).
I also miss an option to add new members to a project from a list of existing users and immediately determine their permissions, that would work easier than inviting them by typing their names. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A great plus is the extensive selection of languages and the automated translation into a new language with just a few clicks. What I really like is the spell and format check to make sure new translations are correct. I work with the tool several times per week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The integration with Bitbucket occasionally causes glitches, resulting in unintended translations being pushed for updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Crowdin places very well compared to some other web-based translation editors, and does have a great technical support team - answers are quick, to the point, and helpful. From an individual translator’s perspective it has good collaborative features – especially context info and commenting options are very well done even compared to the leading CATs on the market. It has an easy setup process, it’s user-friendly, has a good UI and does have the basic linguistic options such as concordance search and a built-in QA module. From a project manager's perpspective, quality process as well as workflow, task assignments and finance management need a more robust technology which Crowdin doesn’t provide. Crowdin TM and glossary management options are scarce; there is no batch features, segments can only be edited one by one and the search is also quite limited. The customer support offered is best in class. I've had numerous interactions with Crowdin's support over the last few years, and every interaction has been fantastic.
Crowdin's API is solid as well. We integrate with it both locally on the machines of our developers, as well as in our pipelines. And so far no complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface could be a bit more modern and user friendly. Also the navigation structure can take some time to get used to for new users. I've grown used to it over time, but I've onboarded many developers and they always need some pointers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Crowdin was extremely easy to setup and made adding localization to our core products a very simple task. The wide range of integrations support make it very quick to embed in our work flows and apps Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the integrations might not be maintained by Crowdin themselves, and support can be lacking. Recommend using only the simplest and most lean workflows and integrations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
