CPACharge is amazing when it comes to invoicing and shceduling recurring payments for our clients. We are able to keep better track of our invoices coming in and invoices going out. It has made setting up payment plans for our clients easy. It has been easy to implement and train our staff. The customer service and the resources avaulable have been extremely helpful. I find it very user friendly for the most part and customer service is quick to respond to any issues and seems to be knowledgable regarding the two particular issues I've had.
There are also many additional features that our previous online merchants didn't provide.
I personally found implementation of the software to be a very short learning curve. Initial access and signing in was very easy.
We use this software every day and I frequently throughout the day log in to check for client invoices that have been paid, and if paid by check I can just click the "paid" option and everyone can see what has an hasn't been paid and which clients needs to have a reminder sent.

Cost effective method for accepting payments from clients both online and in person
It is very adaptable as we change how we do business. The fact that it integrates with so many tools makes it a valuable addition to our technology stack in the firm.
I appreciate how they deposit the full amount charge to the client and bill me the fees later. That makes reconciliation much easier. Many of the competitors give you a net deposit instead which is challenging to break down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish they had a hardware terminal to use instead of just the website. We have swipers that connect to the computer via USB, but a dedicated hardware terminal would look more professional.
Plus there is no way to take chip cards or NFC based payments which is becoming more and more common than it was before. Even if the terminal was still connected to the computer, being able to do more than just swipe the card would really help. Given the extra security chip cards or NFC based payments provide, I would think they would want to find ways for us to be able to use them and reduce fraud and chargebacks, but I have not been able to figure out a way to make that happen Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

CPACharge has changed my life!! They allow me to set up recurring payments from clients that I can set and forget. It really helps me not stress out about whether or not I'll get paid. Their website is super easy to use, and there are a TON of reporting options. I know my clients' info is secure and safe. I also love that they offer Affirm, as that is a very popular payment option with my tax clients. I've only had to contact Customer Support once, and they were extremely helpful! My one and only complaint is that you cannot directly set up a recurring payment from the Card Vault after your client inputs their card information. You have to charge the card manually once, THEN you can set up a Schedule for recurring automatic payments. This is inconvenient because I have existing clients that want to switch to Auto-Pay that put in their card info, and I have to set a reminder to charge them the next month so I can set up their recurring payments. It has made collecting payments from our clients so much easier. Them having the ability to follow the link to our payment site and us not having to be in office to take their payment has made a world of a difference. Switching over to this processor was one of the easiest switches we ever made. I love it because it is convenient to use in the office and on the go. It is small enough to not take up a lot of space either. The online platform and application on mobile devices are easy to use and follow. Our firm appreciates this so much when it comes to tax season as well as off-season. All around great company. If any issues ever arise, customer service is at its best when assisting with our needs. We also use this a lot in our office. The best part of the CPACharge is being able to set up a schedule for clients for recurring payments that are monthly, quarterly or annually, so they don't have to remember to pay. Also, with being able to link the payments as a pay now on an invoice within our portal system and it being recorded into our system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only enhancement would be that when a client does pay through the software portal, the pay now would be removed as an option to indicate payment made. I don't believe that this is a CPACharge issue, more the other software issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
CPA Charge allows me to bill clients with a link to immediate payment through credit card or bank ACH. It is a great way to bill and get paid quickly. I can also quickly review who has paid and send out reminder bills. It really speeds up the billing and payment process. Their customer support is great. When a payment does not process correctly they can always tell me why. I contact my customer and they correct the payment error. When I transitioned to my home/office I took on my billings. I had no trouble implementing the system and setting up billing for my clients. I use this program for all of my billings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My biggest negative was the time it took to process payments from bank accounts. But CPA Charge has changed that feature and payments now process the same as credit cards with two day credits to my bank account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
