What do you like best about Unanet CRM by Cosential?

I love being able to see the history of our opportunities and have an at-a-glance understanding of where we are on certain pursuits. It's empowering to have that kind of information just before walking in to a client meeting. Additionally, the publisher module has made a world of difference in increasing the quantity of our marketing qualifications output. Having a simple way to wrangle our data, tailor it to client needs, and then publish directly to our branded format has saved us hundreds of hours in production time. We have also really enjoyed working with Oscar and Amy-- they have been been wonderfully friendly, patient and positive with us as we clear the initial Cosential learning curve! What problems is Unanet CRM by Cosential solving and how is that benefiting you?

Using the Opportunities and Workflows in Cosential, we have been able to automate our project job number request system with accounting. Accounting now has the information they need in one succinct email and can proceed with opening project numbers for our engineering staff right away without a lot of time-consuming research and follow up. What do you like best about Unanet CRM by Cosential?

My firm went from using spreadsheets to manage our proposals and client management so any CRM would have been a hyge upgrade for us. Being in the construction we do things different than most and Unanet was the only software to come close to what we were looking for. There are a lot of options for custimization which we are utlizing to help taylor the software to our needs. The dashboards and automation features are especially helpful to stay efficinet in our CRM process but to also see the figures and trends to react quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unanet CRM by Cosential?

While Unanet is custimizable, there are still many things that do not work as we told they would. Proposal creation through the Publisher has quite a few limits that in the end make it more work to use in relation to just using our original templated work document. That feature has been sidelined for my firm until Unanet improves on it. We have also discovered many bugs in how you update the information within your opportunities that don't update the information properly. It took some back and forth to figure this out but it appears these issues have still not been fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Unanet CRM by Cosential?

I love how all of the information for our projects, statuses, companies and contacts are kept in one area. I really appreciated our onboarding person Laura and Jackie who helped our company through the process. They helped make the integration for our company much better of an experience. What do you dislike about Unanet CRM by Cosential?

One of the biggest concerns is it doesn't look great. The interface is one that is not interseting to look at, like a Salesforce. It needs a better interface to make users want to stay in the program. Also it literally took me at least 4 months to really learn this software, which is too much of a steep learning curve. Some features are not intuitive and it takes 3-4 clicks to do what should take 1. The exporting isn't awesome. The opportunities that only show 100 at a time! Soo many issues. I do not like the platform to get help, it requires you to login and see if there is a response, where as it would be nice for someone to call and walk you through issues. What do you like best about Unanet CRM by Cosential?

*The ability to track so much information regarding projects. It is a one-stop shop and my one source of truth for all project data, whether it's team members that worked on it, budget information, project descriptions, project photos, awards, etc.

*It's also highly customizeable, so I can update fields with information that's most relevant to me and my firm.

*The Publisher feature is a HUGE time saver. It used to take over an hour to create resumes, and it was hard to keep them consistent. With Cosential CRM, I have updated resumes done and ready in less than 10 minutes.

*The grid was great back when I used to do quick updates of opportunities.

*Love love LOVE the fact that I can easily search for projects that have a specific attribute, either using one of the custom fields, or doing a search in the project descriptions (and speaking of project descriptions, I love that you can have more than one!) What do you dislike about Unanet CRM by Cosential?

*Although the Publisher module IS great, there are some options I wish would be updated or incorporated---like the ability to filter out projects if a team member only worked on for a few hours, or the ability to easily rearrange the order of projects in a project list. I also wish the templates were a bit easier to work with--sometimes you have to know little "tricks" in order to get certain features to come out the way you want them to.

*It would be nice if you could easily save over reports when you want to update them. I do understand the importance of not losing reports, but it is time consuming to have to give it a new name, then go back and delete the original report you just updated.

*Although I appreciate that they take suggestions for improvements into mind, it does seem to take quite a while for them to get incorporated...even when they are items that seem like common sense, and everyone seems to want.

*It does not easily integrate with our budgeting/management software, Deltek Ajera. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is my one source of truth for ALL project information.

I can VERY easily look for relevant projects or specific project attributes with just a quick key word search.

Resumes used to be a huge pain, especially trying to make sure the project information was consistent across all resumes. Not the case using Unanet CRM's Publisher feature! It cuts down the time it takes to generate resumes by a fraction of what it used to AND I can rest assured that it will always use the most updated project name or description, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The item I like best about using Unanet CRM by Cosential is the ability to review collected information within the company. The ease of use seems to help compared to other software on the market. I use this software daily and enjoy having it at my fingertips. I also like having the ability to store contacts and see others' info internally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unanet CRM by Cosential?

The webpage seems to go offline or down occasionally, which can be very frustrating, especially before/during a weekly scheduled meeting. Unanet CRM helps to solve communication between internal and external personnel, it helps to keep track of information, and it helps to remind and show estimating stats to everyone. It is also a very good tool to keep contacts or past clients in one location. Lastly, the user interface is easy to understand, edit and share with the team. I also like the way I can pull data out for personal and other team members - I also can see company wide info/details. What do you like best about Unanet CRM by Cosential?

It's been great that Unanet has invested additional resources with their support team and been listening to users who want enhancements to certain areas for years. The examples of the important updates are an improved user interface and a new mobile app geared towards Business Development users are great investments.

Another great component of Unanet CRM that others like Salesforce is that it collects historical project data. It's very useful for all types of people in our company. We rely heavily on the CRM at our Construction company. It contains a lot of historical data as well as our prospects and opportunities.
