We've been struggling with the routing, approval and storage of our contracts for decades. We were killing trees left and right and misplacing things on a regular basis. Contract Safe was implemented in a day and with some simple customizations which we were able to make ourselves and a bit of internally conducted training for our users, we were off and running. Not much especially considering the cost but there are a few areas I'd like to be able to customize a bit more, re-name some things and move some things around. I love the ease of sending, recieving, and tracking our contracts. ContractSafe also has amazing customer service. I have a dedicated team member to help with any questions I may have and we talk weekly if needed. At this time after 6 months of using ContractSafe I haven't found a downsize. If there is an issue I just call customer service or go to the chat bot and the next thing I know they have found a way to resolve any issue I bring to there attention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The support is more than one could imagine or expect it to be. Experts working with new users and working to understand the nuances of my specific business and contract needs. All of that lends itself to a master implementation of over 800 contracts rolling up to 12 folders with 40 subfolders rolling up under the 12. We took baby steps, did small bulk uploads along the way, tested the results and when i had the confidence that my manual excel work could be loaded, we did the rest. The system is extremely flexible, ease to use and reporting updates itself as I make changes in updating attributes of my contracts. In terms of frequency of use, I am using daily, and my Operations people completely rely upon this data to not miss expiring contracts or escalations of billing that would be tied into a specific date. Sometimes the letters that don't have a termination date are scanned by AI as having a termination date of the same day as the letter was written. Continuing to improve the AI scanning should solve that problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Contract was incredibly easy to set up and easy to use on an ongoing basis. I would describe it as feeling ios like in that functionally it just makes sense, you don't' need a ton of (or maybe any) training to get in and start working as a standard user. They are making continual updates to the platform which is nice. I use it daily and overall am very happy with the software. Their customer support team is incredibly responsive to requests. Their customer service is excellent. They are always available. Always. Our customer success rep reminds me of Dwight Shrute from The Office, “You can always reach me. I’m never sick and I don’t take holidays.” They reach out regularly to check in and recently sent me statistics which functions we were underutilizing and set up a meeting on how we could make even better use of their product. My favorite features include the ability to schedule term / renewal reminders for contracts, as well as being able to create custom fields to easily track and sort information which is important to us. I also love ability to create different folders for contracts so that they can be easily organized and shared across the organization with the ability to restrict who can acces, download and print. The AI feature has much improved since we initially started using the software, but it is still a bit wonky at times. The best thing, which I saw about ContractSafe is the search capabilities and how contracts can be easily managed. I can easily search for particular contracts because the search function is extremely fast even if we have many of them. We have integrated it to work with DocuSign and that actually helps in contract signing. I also enjoy the alert feature which notifies us of renewal dates, there is nothing like forgetting a due date again. It is convenient to use and helps us avoid a considerable amount of work. The biggest disadvantage of it is the ContractSafe dashboard is not customizable. It’s useful for the most basic tasks, though the ability to tailor it to how we work would be beneficial. What this lack flexibility implies is that we do not always structure our contracts in the most optimal manner.
