The best thing i liked about is how easy it is to create a solution, customaize it using tonnes of parameters provided out of the box. It is so simple yet so powerful. From template creation to data merge to final delivery the whole process is easy to understand both for end users as well as for admins who are designing these solutions. the UI/UX is great and intuitive.
The customer support has been top notch. they are very responsive and able to understand your problem in first attempt without lot of back and forth.
No matter how big your documents are conga composer is able to handle whatever you throw at it and the latency is superb.
Overall the best solution for document automation and generation in the market without any doubt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really don't see any downsides for conga composer and I am finding hard to fault anything. Probably one thing i could think of is improving data gathering UI through conga queries and have a really nice UI to pull in data from parent-child fields. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the query builder, and the ability to use a local template in Conga to test your queries - even though you can test the query directly, using sample record ids to populate the data. Additionally, of all the vendors that I deal with, Conga Support is one of, if not, the most responsive to needs, and quick to resolve any issues (usually my understanding of Conga!) It is a little awkward to get your test template data, but once you get used to it, it is at least consistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an Administrator I used Conga Composer every day and it is easy to use. Which fulfills all our implementation needs and business use cases. They have great technical support for helping us. It is easy to integrate with other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its a confusing to add the tags but once you get the hang of the tool it becomes easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is very easy to integrate any external application with Conga Composer using the Setup application. This tool provides detailed steps and step-by-step guide for integrating external applications like Adobe Sign, Google Drive and others. Additionally, it's usage dashboard feature allows us to generate a comprehensive report on our Composer usage while proves to be beneficial for internal analysis. The time it takes for the dashboard to generate a report with large data and due to which the wait time increases. I find that Composer is unable to capture integration errors with detailed information which makes debugging issues a complex task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Conga Composer is one of the easiest Dynamic pdf generating platform. It has the capability to get the data from Salesforce as well as External data sources. The accuracy & the elegance of the Product is so good that no other product can match its excellence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While integrating with external data sources the Authentication types are very limited. It does not support oAuth at all while most of the external APIs are authenticated with oAuth. Also each external data source it to convertad into an "oData.svc" formatted API by Mulesoft. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Conga Composer is easy to use and implement. Their customer service has been fantastic and very responsive, I can't say enough good things about them. Anytime I encountered an issue they were quick to help me resolve it. We started slow with using Conga since our initial use case was limited but has since expanded and our team is now using it more frequently. Conga has allowed us to integrate easily with Salesforce and improve our service levels to our customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Template management I feel could be easier especially when attaching the merge file. I have over a hundred templates currently and growing and every time there is a change that effects multiple templates its can be time consuming to update everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like about Conga Composer is its capability to merge and collect different document formats within a single document which helps us to create a professional document very easily. Additionally, it offers external data storage options that allow us to store documents on platforms such as Google Drive and OneDrive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike is that configuring these external integrations is complex and getting the integration token and authenticating it takes a lot of time. Inserting images into your template creates various document formatting problems that we occasionally fix by hand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Conga Composer makes document generation in Salesforce effortless. I love how it pulls data dynamically, keeping everything accurate and on-brand. It supports multiple formats like PDFs and Word docs, and the automation features save a ton of time, especially for bulk processing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The setup can be a bit complex, especially for first-time users. There’s a learning curve when configuring templates and automation, and troubleshooting errors isn’t always straightforward. Also, the pricing can be a little steep for smaller teams, and the UI feels a bit outdated compared to newer tools. That said, once everything is set up, it works smoothly. Conga Composer is one of the best products I've used for generating and managing documents. It saves us a lot of time with its fast processing and automatically sends emails to clients once the document is generated. Its data accuracy is excellent, reducing the need for document reviews in most cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike is its integration capabilities. We're trying to use Composer APIs, but setting them up and utilizing them is challenging. Plus, there isn’t much documentation available, so we often have to rely on Conga Support for help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I felt composeris user friendly app for implemententing the typical order form documents. We could also build auto renewal process with the integration Conga batch.
This is one of best tool for easy to implement templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would recommend to improve navigations to follow the documentation for debugging or searching for required information Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
