Our main motivation for acquiring Conductor One was to provide support in the revamping of outdated user access request and approval procedures.
User access review was one of the things we were having trouble with correctly executing, but Conductorone made the process effortlessly.
When combined, these have significantly decreased the threats that arise from users who are not properly provisioned, offering us to a higher degree of regulatory compliance.

The real strength behind ConductorOne is the ability to leverage its workflows against, at first glance, many disparate SaaS systems which may not have cohesive workflows out of the box. The ease of setting up these integrations is bolstered by comprehensive guidance from their customer success team, in our case, led by Mallory Surpless. Her proactive nature has been a great asset in our implementation process and she is always quick to respond to any inquiries.

What sets ConductorOne apart is their ability to balance security with accessibility. The platform incorporates multi-level configurable approval policies to ensure the right people make access decisions based on the resource itself. Yet, it does so without sacrificing user experience, providing a frictionless process that encourages compliance. Automating the end to end process from submission, approval and provisioning has significantly reduced our workload and a total game changer across the whole org. When we were doing this manually it was taking hours of our day now it takes a matter of minutes. Going into implementation with ConductorOne, we set aside a full 3-4 weeks to work on setup. Once we got started, it was easier than we anticipated. We got our applications connected within the first week, setup our policies, and started running reviews in under a month. We purchased ConductorOne to automate fulfilling identity audit requirements and really take away the need to manage thousands of user access reviews manually with spreadsheets. The biggest headache we had before ConductorOne was getting accurate data from our in scope applications and ensuring the right procedures were followed for approving/denying access. We found with ConductorOne that setting up our integrations and approval policies was quick and gave us the configurability we needed to run campaigns.
We went from having multiple people spend hundreds of hours on preparation to now only having one person complete the process in under a day.
One of the most important components to us after doing our first few campaigns was to automate the revocations. We've set this up in the platform so that when someone is denied access we now revoke their access automatically instead of someone going into the application and manually performing the action. Very happy with how automated and easy the program is now end to end.

ConductorOne has made my fantasies of what Governance Management should look like a reality.
The platform's user-friendly design allows us to consolidate all access requests into a single, streamlined system, eliminating the mess of this process smeared between emails, Jira tickets, and Slack messages.
The ease of use is unrivalled, making it an everyday tool for our company.

When it comes to managing employee identities, C1 is our one stop shop. We were able to fully implement C1 and have full adoption in under one week. Excellent documentation and a super helpful support team was a large part of the ease of set up. ConductorOne was there when we needed help, and gave us space when it was appropriate.
Once we had it off the ground, we found that C1 has an intuitive interface that is simple to learn. It's highly customizable when it comes to builiding policies and setting up campaigns. It was so easy in fact, that on our first access review campaign (which used to take us 2 full weeks) we were completely finished within 24 hours --- and that's without giving our reviewers any instruction at all. Talk about a high return on investment.
The slack integration gives all users easy access - whether requesting, approving, or denying access on the fly. Our employees are using C1 on at least a weekly (if not daily) basis, and have highlighted their great experience.
From an admin standpoint, we use C1 as our source or truth for all things identity. No more spreadsheets, jira tickets, slack messages, forgotten emails, etc. We recently went through a compliance audit and were able to provide click-button audit-ready reports that even the most stringent auditors loved -- a happy auditor is a helpful auditor.

ConductorOne has a fantastic focus on streamlining and automating the access review and access requesting process. Beyond all the positive things I could say, I was most impressed with the quality of development. We have used other vendors, and the level of troubleshooting for items within our environment was very problematic. ConductorOne knows how their product will interact with all their customer's different environment. Even in cases where their product lacked a requirement we had, they did not hesitate to build that out as a feature request in a very timely manner. The partnership is very symbiotic. What sticks out most for us is the ROI when implementing ConductorOne. We're a mid-sized company with a number of critical systems and applications that require frequent user access reviews. ConductorOne has really saved us time in preparation and has made it a breeze for our reviewers as well! Before using C1, we spent a majority of each quarter planning and prepping for our UARs. Now with C1, the preparation is automated and with the hit of a button our Campaigns are scoped and sent to reviewers. C1 has provided us the flexibility to easily scope different resources and/or reviewers as needed which allows us to gain comfort that our environment is securely monitored as we continue to scale.
