Ease of access and the ability to search for records allows me to find what I am looking for even if I have limited parameters of information to work with for my search. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This product will not be supported by its developer in the coming future which is unfortunate as it has many capabilities that their new software is still flushing the bugs out of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ability to add, create and customize many of the commands and dashboard parts. There are multiple ways for the end user to accomplish tasks which support clickers and typers. The support has been very good as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not like the inability to create a workflow based on a geo fenced area without have to create new map layers. I also do not care for how slow the system runs the majority of the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With the CentralSquare Enterprise Suite, you are able to set up multiple personal preferences to make it work for your agency. This ranges from CAD, Mobile, and RMS. The software provides several areas that are efficient to help speed up workflow and processes. The CAD, Mobile and RMS systems are user friendly and easy to navigate with options to help meet the different operating styles of work groups. This is a 24/7 operation for us, so the software is constantly in use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downside of any software, not just CentralSquare, is bugs, fixes, and communication. It is a trend within major software corporation to rush releases without valid testing and relying on customers to provide feedback about issues. In addition, aside from a CEO blast that comes out quarterly, you do not see much about whats new, whats coming, whats here, tips and tricks, etc. It seems like once you are a software owner, you just get left out to the wilds. CentralSquare is the third CAD/RMS software that I have used and it is by far my favorite. CentralSquare software has been a valuable asset for our team, offering a wide range of features that meet our needs. I find that it is extremely user friendly. Navigating through the platform is intuitive, making it easy for both new and experienced users to get up and running quickly.
The customizability of CentralSquare is another key advantage. We are constantly finding new ways to use the software to streamline our workflow. Custom modules and custom forms have made things so much easier for our staff. This flexibility has significantly enhanced our efficiency, as we can adjust settings and features without needing extensive technical support.
When it comes to training, because CentralSquare is so intuitive, training new hires is so much easier than former systems. You can tell the platform was designed with ease of training in mind; new team members can quickly familiarize themselves with the system, reducing downtime.
One of the most critical features for us has been the ability to share information effortlessly. CentralSquare makes collaboration seamless, enabling our team to share data across departments quickly and securely. This has improved communication and decision-making across the board.
I have also been impressed with the customer support. All of the support team members are helpful and patient. They have been such great partners and I enjoy working with them.
In summary, CentralSquare is a comprehensive, user-friendly, and customizable platform that has significantly enhanced our operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really do not have any complaints. We use ProSuite CAD, RMS, Jail and 911 and I am happy overall! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
CentralSquare products are the next steps any Public Safety organization needs to consider. There is a lot that these products have to offer which we use everyday. I do enjoy working with this software and providing assistance where it is needed within our organization. With any software product a user will need to be educated on how to use it and become experts themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are several times that CST has experienced growing pains. Most recently they have downsized, and a very important customer relations department were handed their walking papers. This is who we worked with every day and our go to connections when we needed help.
In turn this has again cause delays in support issues being handled in a timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The software's user interface is excellent and caters to both dispatchers and administrators who configure it. It is highly robust and can present a vast amount of information at dispatchers' fingertips. The customer service is of top-notch quality, and we have a dedicated support team for our center. I can rely on the same group of people to answer whenever I call for help with an issue. We run this software on 5 consoles that operate 24/7 in a 9-1-1 dispatch center. It was effortless to integrate it into our system, and updates seem to be an easy process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find it very frustrating that I am unable to update the map layers on my software independently. Instead, I have to submit the layers to the software providers and wait for them to update the layers. This process has taken several weeks on a couple of occasions. However, in cases of emergency updates, they were able to push the updates through in just a few hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
CentralSquare CAD is highly regarded for its efficient dispatching capabilities and comprehensive data management, which greatly enhance emergency response coordination and public safety operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not sure yet. There are certain things I would like to see made mandatory to fill out before going on to another section. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Through updates the software has maintained a fairly intuitive/easy-to-understand interface. An adequate degree of customizability allows individual dispatchers to set up their CAD display in a way that best suits them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our agency recently updated to version 22.1.9, which came with an overhauled call-taking window. Long story short, the new one displays the same information and has the same function as old, while managing to take up more space. Everything is larger, as if it was designed for a touch screen. It's made it more difficult to manipulate multiple call windows at the same time. This update is a step in the wrong direction, the only plus being it's more visually appealing and you have a snapshot of premise history without needing to open a separate window.
Additionally, there's an issue with copying and pasting anything with line breaks into the call notes. The software doesn't recognize them and reverts to just adding the first line of whatever you copied. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Central Square CAD is robust software designed specifically for Computer Aided Dispatch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very costly software and annual support. I find it unnecessarily difficult to manage the map layers. We often have to import updated maps, and the process is quite involved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a Property Manager, I enjoy the simplicity of the Property/Evidence functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the aspects of the system that are so close to "best practices," but just barely miss the mark. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
