I absolutely loved the onboarding and setup process. Center staff made sure I understood what was happening, helped me in every step of the process, and stayed consistent with check-ins. They consistently reach out and make sure everything meets the organization's needs and gave me plenty of info to be able to train the staff who will have cards. I also love that I can check which cards are active, lock and unlock easily, update spending limits, and review expenses quickly. Converting from our old provider to Center was simple and the app and training video made it easy to implement with our staff. The cards shipped quickly and were easy to setup for each user. The fact that Center keeps our records and doesn't delete them and makes reporting easy by integrating with our financial software. Right now, we are on a prepaid setup and it would be nice to be able to directly load from our bank account inside of Center. As it is now, we incur a fee every time we have to wire funds to our account. This is something that our old provider did offer and it was much easier not having to go through the wire process. Center was extremely simple to set up and start using. The best thing I like about using Center is that it has different Expense Type listings based on User, Cost Center, etc and the ability to give certain users the option to split expenses. This has taken a lot of the one of request burden off my place at month end and shifts it to the user. After set up, the implementation team took time to show me how to customize fields, but if I need more assistance they're always willing to hop onto a call to help me out. The only dislike I have heard from users is that some would like to implement Vendor rules, and I don't think that is possible at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our team members find the app very easy to use. Our Admins find the online portal very easy to use as well. I personally love the help portal and have used the artcles and short videos as our training resources (cutting back the need for our department to create training videos).
The fact that the system is designed to eliminate the need for compiling expenses into an expense report and can show you spend in real-time is gives us the ability to monitor spend continuously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some features still require manual set up per item - such as adding visibility rules to each project when projects sync over to decrease which users can see what projects or setting up approval rules. Also, policy functionality is basic.
The ability to give access to the Insights reporting module is limited to only cost center so our PMs are not able to utilize the tool for their specific projects.
The upside is that Center is continually working on new functionality so I am hopeful that we will see a decrease in the need Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Center has been a welcome addition to our company. We switched to using Center from being longtime American Express Business customers. The implementation was a smooth process and the customer team at Center is responsive to requests. The self-service functionality that Center provides our cardholders to review and code their expenses has been a wealthy addition to our process. The platform provides comprehensive solutions for expense approvals. We utilize QuickBooks Online to manage our financials, and Center works well with our proces with Quickbooks. We also appreciate that they have been implementing features to automatically capture and attach receipts to transactions if the vendor supports it. Center has previously been plagued by system performance issues, often being slow as users navigate the platform to code expenses. That being said, the Center team has been very receptive to feedback on any issues our team experiences and working to address those. We've also found it challenging that the platform requires you to get a new card number if you need a replacement, as they do not support replacement of damaged cards with the same card number. there are a couple of areas where enhancements could make it even more efficient. As an admin, I wish there were an option to automate the setup of cost centers and divisions for new users based on their job titles. Currently, this process has to be done manually, which can be time-consuming, especially when onboarding multiple employees. Automating this step would streamline the process and ensure accuracy from the start.
Additionally, I would love to see more robust reporting capabilities within CenterCard. While the platform provides useful insights, having access to a broader range of customizable reports would be beneficial for deeper financial analysis and decision-making. Expanding the reporting options would allow for greater visibility into spending trends and help organizations optimize their expense management strategies more effectively. The feature of Center intuitive interface and its seamless integration into other tools stand out. What has been a game changer, is the ability to manage all communications in one place. For example, I can continously switch between email, chat and calls without even noticing a step bumpy. Dashboards are customizable, and I prioritize my tasks in a manner that compels me to not miss any client or project. Center is robust, but it is rather steep to learn for new users. There are simply too many features at first, and will take some time to fully understand what it can do. At the same time there are some improvements to be made regarding the functionality and the level of user experience of the mobile app. Notifcations can sometimes be over the top. For users, its easy to take a picture of the receipt on their phone using their app, and just code it then and there. It used to take users hours sometimes to scan the receipts, code it, and review their managers work.

It has been a hassle to dispute certain expenses, and it would have been solved easier if the support called our company to verify the item in question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Where do I start? Center has given me back time that it takes for a month end cycle process. With the credit card platform, the ease if importing expenses, reimbursing employees for monthly expenses and utilizing the travel platform I can't say enough about how easy and added many efficiencies across the board. In addition, all of my employees have positive feedback on how easy and quick it is to submit expenses. In addition, I have to call out the amazing customer service team as they have been extremely responsive and knowledgeable on any questions I have had whether on the administrative side or end user side.
In addition, I will say the implementation process was so easy and Dan was the absolute best! I gained confidence within a short time of implenting the program and rolling it out to our employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only negative feedback I have heard regarding Center is the limited WiFi capabilities. When my employees are out traveling, there are times when they are not able to log onto the portal to submit expenses but I do understand the security risk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having our teams use Center for their purchasing and T&E needs has been a nice easy transition from our old manual T&E process and restricted corporate cards. Center's app and software made it very simple for our team to pay for their expenses, code them in the app, attach support fast, and made our finance side much easier to record the functions. We also really like the approval process within the app/website, that gives visibility to leadership on where spend is happening. The integration that Center has with our financial system provides an efficient tool to recording our Card purchases as well as our employees Out of Pocket expenses and Mileage reimbursement. The training we received was clear, fast, and easy. We joke that anyone who misses the training but still goes into the app to use, if you have a brain, you can easily figure it out as it is very intuitive. Some areas of improvement that I would have to say is needed is the ability to change the mileage rate based on date of a reimbursement. They did automatically change the rate to the new 2025 rate but we still had people who needed to submit 2024 expenses. I was able to manually change the rate back then once everything was in, went back to the settings and updated to the 2025 rate. Another is when we import the data into our financial system, we couldn't have one side of the coding go to one account string, it used the location and cost center of the expense. We like the flexibility to set up new GL Accounts, Threshold and approval channels. Young company but being Technology driven, provides great analytical tool to review Expense data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No integration with payroll system. So, incase of intentional or unintentional personal use, employees have to be chased to get reimbursement check.
Processing charges are processed separately so number of approvals increase significantly due to that reason Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
