I like that Carevoyant is innovative and constantly updating as things are changing in the industry. Small and close knit group with a lot of knowledge. All requests are taken into careful consideration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reporting is my least favorite part of CV as we like to have the ability to customize and create reports that are most tailored to our needs. For example, our control wants a specific looking report for AR and we have not yet been able to produce that for them. This document would also be used for reporting and auditing. I love how easy it is to use Carevoyant. Both from a nursing perspective, and a clinical supervisor perspective. I teach how to chart on Carevoyant for new hires. They are able to comprehend it very quickly.
I love how Carevoyant has a someone answer any questions in a very timely manner via email. The turnaround is very quick.
I love the layout of Carevoyant. But above all else, I love how easy it is to use. I feel like even though we are dealing with diffucult subject matter, it is easy to comprehend, and to teach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like how we can't alphabatize meds on Careplans.

I really enjoy the favorites widget on the dashboard. It makes my job more effiecient so I am not wasting time searching the many options that do not apply to my day to day tasks. The electronic forms editor is also becomming a favorite of mine, as it makes it easier for our team to go digital in regards to forms and obtaining client signatures. I find it hard to pinpoint something I dislike about CareVoyant, I only began using it about a month ago. i have noticed some of the newer options implemented in CareVoyant tend to have some quirks and can be a bit confusing. However, speaking with their support staff about these issues always results in growth opportunites, mostly for myself, but they also get to see where things might need to be improved. CV Web - it is exciting to hear more modules are almost ready to be moving over the CV Web in the near future; the software is much more user-friendly in CV Web. When all company data and billing modules are setup properly, the processes run smoothly. I also really like the number of features CareVoyant software offers - and CareVoyant is continually making improvements and enhancements - much appreciated! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The behind-the-scenes setup of our company data and Insurance Plans has not run the smoothest nor timely; plus, often when there is a change/update in their software (eg adding EVV, upgrades, transition of modules to the Web, etc.) there have been "hiccups", thus causing billing and payroll issues at the Provider's end - many headaches at the Provider' end that could have been aleviated had more testing by CareVoyant taken place before Provider moving forward after a change(s) had taken place with the software. Turnaround time and resolution on Support Tickets could sure us improvement. Some tickets get resolved the same day; other tickets take 1-3 weeks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
First and foremost, the customer service. They spent a week with us at our office assisting with the implementation back in 2012 - it was smooth. They've been peppered with all sorts of requests and questions since that time and have never failed to offer the absolute best results. I understand that every practice and provider type is different, but for our purposes as a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) center, I think it's perfect for our billing.
From scheduling, to charge/payment creation/posting, to preparing my electronic claims, as well as the configuration and customization and the slew of reporting options; it's incredibly easy to use and maintain. I understand that I've selected the "User" option, even though I would also classify as the "Administrator", but I wanted to pick that option to illustrate my familiarity with utilizing CareVoyant on a daily basis.
I've been using it for 12 years and 3 months thus far. Please, give me another 20-25 years and then we can all retire. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do I dislike about CareVoyant? Honestly? Up until this point, not a thing. Not a single thing. I'm willing to take a lower increase on my salary as a means of being able to continue using this program for billing.

As with any software available on a countless number of devices issues can arise, however the support response is quick and effective. We have implemented Carevoyant as our primary softawre and our staff use it daily with no negitive feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Carevoyant has been our billing solution for over 15 years, and has become our standardized EMR for the last 5. As the VP of technology for my organization I appreciate the following aspects of Carevoyant.
#1 - A robust billing hierarchy which you can rely on to generate accurate billing based on any number of complex payer specific requirements. For our organization this includes commercial, workers compensation, private pay, state waiver programs, Medicaid, no fault, government funders and liens.
#2 – Carevoyants’ efficient workflows have been able to support our organizations service line growth, and has proven experience in with organizations that provide a full continuum of care. Our organization has expanded from primarily census-based lines of care, to now having lines of service that encompass Home and Community, Outpatient, short term in patient, our long term supported living. Carevoyant has been supportive at each growth opportunity we have encountered.
#3 – Carevoyant is more than just a software company, I feel they are a partner in our organizational workflow success, and have proven to be a reliable partner who values their customers. They are also backed by a knowledgeable support team who is ready to assist when simple or complex issues are encountered.
#4 – They are focused on improving and enhancing their user interfaces to ensure efficient information capture.
#5 - Direct integration of GL transactions into our organizations Dynamics GL solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Carevoyant's provides a good number of canned reports, but relies on SSRS. This can be limiting if you are used to a reporting tool that allows you to do custom data exports, and drill downs. They are able to overcome this by providing access to SSMS, but this would out of the scope of most reporting users technical abilities.
Carevoyant's flexible security options can make managing security more challenging than other solutions on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
