**What do you like best about WellSky Personal Care?**

It has some useful features like biometric sign in. Helpful when you have to sign in often because the sessions are tragically short

**What do you dislike about WellSky Personal Care?**

Almost everything. The UI is buggy and inconsistent. The keyboard behavior is not intuitive. The app relies on geolocation but drops location constantly, which blocks users from completing key tasks. In a thirty minute care shift, I probably have to sign out or force quit at least five times in order to finish basic things like saving a comment or clocking out.

**What problems is WellSky Personal Care solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wellsky probably solves liability problems for my employer but doesn’t do much at all for me. It doesn’t benefit me directly and I did not choose the platform. It was chosen for me.

**What do you like best about WellSky Personal Care?**

I love the data it stores. Without it in HR, I would be lost. I need the notes on shifts, the documentation of changes in availability, the call outs, and the changes in personal information. I also find it essential to refer back to the data for unemployment claims, worker comp claims, terminations, warnings, and on the other side, annual evaluations, pay rate changes, and health insurance benefits eligibility. I gave it a 10 on the likelihood to recommend it to a friend or colleague.

**What do you dislike about WellSky Personal Care?**

The update that occurred messed up the clock feature that lets me see who last edited a shift. Now, the last person who looks at it appears as if they created the shift, which they did not. It messed up tracking when a shift is edited or created and who actually did it. Also, it's supposed to integrate with ADP but it doesn't for us, so we have to export and import payroll data, and that sucks. We integrate with CareAcademy and CheckR but there are issues and concerns there too.

**What problems is WellSky Personal Care solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use WellSky Personal Care to schedule over 600 caregivers, allowing for clocking in/out, communication, client info access, and running reports. It provides essential data storage, helping me track shift notes, availability changes, and manage HR tasks like unemployment claims and evaluations.

I appreciate the easy usage of WellSky Personal Care. The initial setup was a 10/10 for me. I use it for scheduling and checking time cards, and it helps when caregivers call out by using CareFinder to find replacement caregivers.

I can honestly say that due to all of the glitches and lack of support over recents months, I like nothing about the software.

**What problems is WellSky Personal Care solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can't believe the level of incompetence and lack of care I've experienced with WellSky. It's almost like they don't even have real employees, just bots programmed to frustrate and annoy. My engineering ticket has been sitting there for ages, since 6/2/23 to be exact, with issues that could potentially harm our clients. Day after day, month after month, we've submitted tickets pleading for help, but it's like shouting into a void.

My staff is beyond fed up, clients and their families are on the brink of revolt, and all WellSky does is give me the runaround. I've had to hire extra staff just to navigate the mess this software has caused, and what do I get? A pathetic excuse named Hayden who pretends to "understand my frustrations" but conveniently forgets to follow up. It's like they're experts at dodging responsibility.

And don't even get me started on their so-called "customer service." When you call, it's either an eternal hold followed by an invitation to leave a message that they'll probably ignore, or you get disconnected faster than you can say "horrible software." You'd think that submitting tickets online would yield some results, but surprise, surprise – nothing happens! It's like sending your complaints into a digital abyss.

I'm not just disappointed; I'm appalled at the utter lack of professionalism and accountability from WellSky. Save yourself the headache, the heartache, and the money – stay far away from this nightmare of a software. If I could give negative stars, I would. This has been an absolute disaster, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

WSPC has many features that can help push your business forward: customizable reports, anayltics that you can create to the KPI's that are important to you and then schedule those reports. In addition to that you can cusotmize each profile to easily be able to find people in your system that match your current needs.

Updating information can sometimes be clunky as there is no way to do a mass import of information independently. There can be a slowdown when y ou are trying to grab historically information.

I enjoy keeping up with my employee's time and payroll in an easy-to-utilize format. For example, by using the tag function, I can view all of my drivers' times from a single location.

Our company has different divisions that utilize WellSky for various functions.  I would like to see a more transportation-centric area as those needs differ from those of a home care or day center.

WellSky Personal Care does seamlessly integrate from Hireology when setting up new users.  I am also able to be more productive by viewing payroll at a glance throughout the week.

The best feature is the notifications that remind us when our caregiver's certifications, training or IDs are expiring or when they miss their clock-ins. There are many things to be managing in a day and WellSky makes it that much easier to be on top of our records.

What I dislike the most about WellSky is how excessively complicated the Clock in/out process is. There are too many questions to answer, and it is not a very intuitive process for our older caregivers.

WellSky Personal Care is solving our problems with no call/no shows. WellSky reminds caregivers about their upcoming shifts, it provides them with care plans and all the information they need prior to a shift, and provide caregiver monthly schedules so shifts are not forgotten.

I love how easily accessible the WellSky Personal Care app is. It is very user-friendly and simple to use. I think that the app is easy to understand and very straight forward.

I think that the WellSky Personal Care app can be a little tricky with some locations that are registered, so maybe finding a way to strengthen the signal for tracking the app.

It's all in one - scheduling, billing, profiles about clients and caregivers. I like the use of tags, being able to adjust hours, being able to send out Carefiners on open shifts, etc.

Some of the features are lacking since it tries to do everything. Sometimes there are uneeded steps such as needing to make notes twice to show on shifts. Also the Reports could be better.

**What do you like best about WellSky Personal Care?**

The ClearCare mobile app is extremely simple to use, it features a scrolling list of all your appointments and the requirements for each one. It allows fingerprint login which is great for caregivers as they need to access the app multiple times a day. There are a few other features of the app including the ability to request hours and view open shifts. You are easily able to request more work for your time off, if it is available.

**What do you dislike about WellSky Personal Care?**

The app requires the use of GPS for tracking the caregivers location in relation to the patient. Sometimes the GPS shows that you are 30-40 meters away when you are inside the residence. Occasionally the app does have issues where it stops working after an update, however it is generally fixed quickly.

**Recommendations to others considering WellSky Personal Care:**

Make sure you clock in on time and complete your tasks correctly. Always have the patient sign at the end of each shift as well. If the app fails to work properly then make sure you have paper copies where you can record the shift events and get a paper signature. If the GPS isn't reading properly turn it off and then back on again.

**What problems is WellSky Personal Care solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ClearCare mobile app eliminates a lot of paperwork that is normally needed for each visit by allowing digital signatures and recording of events. It also allows you to keep track of your time virtually as well as request more shifts and view open shifts.

ClearCare has the data and the tools you need to run and manage your home care business.  I specifically like the dashboards/reports you can setup to establish key performance indicators.

**What do you dislike about WellSky Personal Care?**

This may seem nit picky but I'd like to see a close integration with  Outlook.  We use Outlook as our strategic calendar and email system.  When you collaborate with your referral partners you have to "cut and paste" emails into activities in ClearCare.  For those Salesforce CRM veterans take a page out of their book with tight integration to outlook.

The #1 reason we selected ClearCare over competitors was the tools and technology to schedule caregivers with clients.  The problem you are solving is finding the right caregiver to care for a client.  It's the  heart and sole of home care.

The caregiver and client matching feature only works in CareFinder. This feature should also flag any way a caregiver can be assigned to a shift. Otherwise, it's potentially harmful if sending a caregiver unable to provide a certain level of care or has an allergy that they should not go to a particular home.

ClearCare makes it very easy to track schedules and communicate with CAREGivers. They can access their own schedules and client information remotely.

The ClearCare Go App has technical issues sometimes. If a CAREGiver is working with another agency that uses ClearCare, ClearCare does not allow them to have another account with the same email address.

I love that it connects directly with the CAREGiver's GPS on their phone so they can find their client's home easily.

**What do you like best about WellSky Personal Care?**

Clear is a all in one system. They have several partnerships with other vendors. It is easy to bill though ACH draft and credit cards. We can do this all with a click of a button, once we verify that the rates are entered in correctly. This also allows us to run payroll. I can verify my employee's payroll and export a file and upload it to my payroll company. I also run the custom gross profit report daily. The scheduling dash board is very important to our operation. We can open shifts and send out a shift request to multiple caregivers at once. They have the opportunity to Accept or Decline. It sends out shift reminders to the caregivers the day before the shift. We have the ability to change the time they go out. The systems sends missed clocked in notifications via email and SMS. Shifts that are complete show up in green. Shifts that have a missed clock in show up red. It integrates with our applicant tracking system which is Hireology. When someone applies it automatically enters their information into Clear Care. It also is integrated with ChrecR which is the criminal background check company. We use all this to track new applicants.

**What do you dislike about WellSky Personal Care?**

The community pages is difficult to find what I am looking for sometimes. I really wish it would transfer all of Hireology's tracking information into Clear Care. The way the invoices print out can be a little difficult to understand.

**Recommendations to others considering WellSky Personal Care:**

Clear Care is easy to schedule and bill. I suggest you try to negotiate rates. Also consider what you are receiving for your money. If a software is cheaper and does not deliver what you need than it is not any good.

**What do you like best about WellSky Personal Care?**

I love that the ClearCare team is quick, responsive, and always willing to help with new projects and dissect any new problems we might encounter in the system. As the manager of our Marketing and Communications Team at Senior Solutions Home Care, I am just as impressed by the quality of their systems as I am by the professional approach that comes from every member of their team. I have worked most closely with Justin Hanzlik and Roger Dong, and find that both of them are exemplary representatives of the ClearCare Team. With Justin, our team is always made aware of new projects on the horizon and new capabilities that can assist us in our growth trajectory and future goals, especially as those relate to API and automation development. We can always count on Justin to communicate with us in a timely fashion. With Roger, I have had the pleasure of coordinating presentations and details for upcoming events, and find that Roger is incredibly helpful, willing to collaborate and provide assistance on any upcoming project, and extremely communicative and quick to follow up. ClearCare is a huge asset to my team, especially through our ability to build and download custom reports that we can use for mass uploads and property categories in other systems, such as HubSpot. Since Senior Solutions is an agency with 1200+ clients and 800+ active caregivers, it is so important to us that these tools function and that they function well. Thank you to ClearCare for providing these tools and for always adding new features that give us better insight into both our client and our caregiver populations!

**What do you dislike about WellSky Personal Care?**

My dislike is more of an indirect like, if we're being honest. ClearCare does not always have API connectivity set up with some of our other partners, such as Relias or Paylocity, but their Development and Customer Success Teams are always willing to collaborate and work with our team to provide us with the tools we need for custom builds. We appreciate the ability to build a custom ecosystem that works for us, and we are so grateful to work with a ClearCare Team that provides us with the tools we need to get started.

**Recommendations to others considering WellSky Personal Care:**

Talk to the Customer Success Team to ask questions and express any initial doubts! They are a very helpful team and can help you make a decision about what is best for your agency.

**What problems is WellSky Personal Care solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClearCare custom reporting allows my team to do mass uploads of contacts in our CRM, HubSpot, which alleviates the constant headache of single uploads (especially since we have thousands of contacts that change frequently). Though my team does not use some of these other tools often, several of our other departments benefit greatly from Change in Condition reporting, which allows us to really stay true to our care management and quality assurance promises to our clients and their families. It also gives our caregivers quick and easy tools to be an advocate for their client's health and safety. Other departments also enjoy the benefits of the Care Coordination and Care Match Criteria features, as they allow us to communicate with other avenues of senior care more efficiently and to staff our clients with appropriate caregivers respectively. One of my favorite simple (but effective!!!) features of ClearCare is our ability to send mass messages that can go to our caregivers' emails and cell phones simultaneously. This has been a major relief when I need to make company-wide announcements, especially since many of our caregivers only check one device over the other.

The scheduling module is intuitive and very effective at helping us staff shifts and ensure that we're utilizing all of the hours authorized for our clients.

ClearCare does not currently have medication documentation functionality that we need for compliance in our state. As a result, our caregivers still need to use paper forms. It would be great to have an integrated medication administration record (MAR).

**Recommendations to others considering WellSky Personal Care:**

ClearCare is the best technology solution available for in-home care agencies. Although there is not a solution available that meets all of our business and compliance needs, ClearCare has a steady flow of enhancements and new features that seem to be on the right track.

ClearCare has enabled us to gather meaningful data about our caregiver and client acquisition pipelines. The reporting and analytics have given us great visibility to some opportunities and risks we wouldn't have otherwise known about.

ClearCare is always looking for value added features that make our work life easier and less expensive.

I only wish that worker's compensation program was available to agencies with smaller payrolls, that is, annual payroll under $400,000.

If you are looking for a leading edge CRM/Scheduling/Receiveable/Payables software program to make running your business as easy as possible, ClearCare is the best choice among the competition.  You'll be glad you chose ClearCare!

Invoicing and logging payments is easy and the seamless transition with Quickbooks is an asset.  Scheduling is so much easier to do plus caregiver matching helps eliminate the guessing game as to which caregivers are best suited to clients.  Reports are fantastic and meet the reporting requirements for LTC insurance.  Analytics are so helpful in developing strategic plans.

I would absolutely recommend ClearCare to others. It is best of bread in the space as far as I have seen and improving all the time. No piece of software is perfect, but the ClearCare team's commitment to improvement is great.

It is an efficient scheduling software and the billing/payroll are easy to use.

**What do you dislike about WellSky Personal Care?**

It doesn't communicate with anything. We would LOVE to send the ClearCare calendar to Google Calendar since that is what we use, but there is no way to do that so we have to maintain two calendars now. It doesn't help with sending LTC information. The main issue is that there is a way to do everything, but not always the way you need it to work and there is no customization. Also, how come there is no projected income report or overtime report for each week. Those are two HUGE KPIs that people would like to access. Also, the app only being able to be accessed through one email address per account for a caregiver is difficult. Caregivers work for multiple agencies, it's the reality. They are usually not the most tech savvy or email literate, but they are required to create new emails for each agency? How is that going to help their success.

We are able to schedule easily and fairly intuitively. The communication works pretty well.

Outdated and clunky UI that sometimes doesn't push updated information to staff/caregivers working in the field.

Ask for a 30 day trial and see for yourself. In my experience there were MAJOR flaws for software providing vital daily health information though admittedly not in a "clinical" setting. There needs to be a reliable way to update client/customer information and reliability was sorely lacking with ClearCare. Not to mention the clunky way of updating and adding information to specific dates and times for each client. There's got to be a better way . . . likely for you and your clients and customers too. Buyer beware.

ClearCare is considered to be the "industry standard" if not the industry leader. Makes me mourn how far we have to go before we have quality software in the hands of the people who need these tools who are working in-home providing essential daily home health care.

Clearcare keeps all our employee information in one location, we can track recruiting and all HR records along with all documentation on each specific candidate

Finding general log notes can be difficult if they are not tagged properly. So being sure to always add a tag to your note and remembering what tag you use. That will make searching later on for a log note much easier.

We have had to contact clear care to resolve a few issues over the last few years such as adding certain tag, changing the HR sections to fit our companies needs, also when doing searches for employees it needs to be specific or that person may not show up.

For the most part I really love using clear care. Clear care has the best customer service, they are user friendly and pretty straight forward. What I like a lot of about clear is that everything is very big and bold and it's easy to find what you are looking for. From caregivers, to clients to information; you can search exactly what you're looking for

Sometimes Clear Care has a lot of glitches which can be very irritating. The software has also been down quite a few times for hours at a time which then makes work very difficult. I have noticed a lot of the same glitches when trying to save notes and I will type up an entire paragraph and clearcare has an error and will not save my note.

Clearcare is a great program and popular & I think they are headed in the right direction.

I love clearcare because again, it is easy to manage & the caregivers as well really like using the program. They can see their schedule and all client information and it makes it easy especially for our older generation caregivers.

This software has some shortcomings, but in general all the essential features work well. It is great at helping manage employees scheduled as well as plans of cares for the patients. A lot of various reports that are helpful to evaluate census, marketing and patient care data. Ease of use, everything is pretty straight forward and training new employees is easy

**What do you dislike about WellSky Personal Care?**

Billing becomes confusing if the patient participates in a few different programs. When that happens, we, as a company, have to create separate profile for the patient which directly affect census data. Wellsky does not include a function to create a pediatric admit, which is regulated by a totally different forms compared to the normal CMS forms that are required for patients over 18 years of age. 

**What problems is WellSky Personal Care solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WellSky Private duty helped to make our daily operations process smooth. Everything gets scheduled on time, clinicians know what their day to day schedule is looking like, office know what patients are going through and when and what is happening. Billing is easy and with eligibility verification we can make sure all of our insurance information is entered correctly. WellSky is almost perfect, but there are some things that could be improved.

We have the ability to create reports, set schedules, communicate with employees and set task lists all in one place and there is no need for any additional programs.

Sometimes it does not run fast enough for my personal liking, probably due to the capacity of the database, but really, that is my only complaint.

There are so many more ways to utilize Clear Care that we haven't even tapped into yet, but so far, we are seeing that it will basically run matches for our Caregivers and Clients and we don't have to rely on who knows who or who has what particular skill.

Clear Care is easy to navigate.  It is user friendly and easy to understand.  I love the navigation tool (provides driving directions and a satellite view of our clients home/facility).  Very helpful for CAREGivers and easy for them to use to print out client assessments and weekly or monthly schedules.

Occasionally we are unable to log in and it does tie up our hands at work since we rely heavily on this tool.

It makes our work more efficient.  Once in a while our CAREGivers get lost on their way to a new clients home and the navigation/map function makes it so easy for me to instruct them how to get to their destination.

Everything about this software is amazing. It is very user friendly, it is very organized, it has many features competing software programs to not have. In my honest opinion this is a very dialed in and useful tool in the Home Care Industry.  The messaging feature is definitely the best, this feature saved me a lot of time and a lot of headache. Also it made looking at "The Big Picture" a breeze, being able to see an entire week worth of schedules for EVERYONE on one page was a huge help when it came to scheduling.

When we were using it there wasn't much in the way of going completely paperless, that is why we switched and now, as I understand, the are paperless and have all of those features, I wish we could go back to using it.

Consider this company first, do not go elsewhere. This Software program is the best in the business. They are constantly moving forward and using new ideas and technology available, they are reliable, useful, and efficient.

This Software made it easy to communicate with our care staff and clients, the messaging/emailing system saved me, as the scheduler, a lot of time.  I wish my current software had that feature. I could also get empty/open shifts filled quickly and more efficiently  by using the feature which allowed me to see the entire week at a time on one screen. It made scheduling a breeze, that way I could spend more time on other tasks. This software made it very easy to do my job, when I can do my job efficiently I can be more productive to my company and do more for my care staff and our clients.

Given how complete the app is, I'm surprised there isn't a way to contact your employer in case of an issue with your shift.

The obvious problem with having hundreds of employees work remotely is the burden of managing clock-in and clock-out, as well as personal notes and mileage recording. ClearCare streamlines all of that into a single process that doesn't require a phone call or another employee.

ClearCare is quite user friendly overall. It was easy to learn and most things are straightforward. Whenever I have to access our old system for old records, I have a new appreciation for ClearCare.

Tech support is definitely lacking. I have had issues with the system not alerting me when I try to schedule a caregiver who has been marked unavailable and shifts cancelled by caregiver (when entered a certain way) were still showing up in their scheduling portals. Both took months to get resolution. The second issue i mentioned took so long i actually forgot about it because we gave up on them and started entering information in a less convenient way for a workaround.

When we started, there was "no setup fee" but they charged a whole month when we started in the middle of the month, nothing was prorated. I thought that was a bit underhanded.

We serve clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is so much more convenient and efficient to be able to access our information all hours of the day, as someone is on call after our office closes. From schedules, to notes and emergency contacts, going online was a game changer for us.

Their entire site has been down several times, and they refuse to compensate users for the down time.  Their customer service stated they would have to charge more if the credited people back for the times it was down.  As others have stated, the software is OK, it's the customer service that's the main issue.

It's easy to access from my office, my phone or tablet. We can look up any of our employee's shifts or client profile quickly and easily.

There are some reports we need that can't be run from Clear Care. I have also not had quick responses when requesting help from customer service.

**Recommendations to others considering WellSky Personal Care:**

I would recommend that another company give it a try and see if meets their needs.  There are many quality features but I would like to see them consult their users on the types of reports for which they need to run. Also, a faster response from customer service would be very appreciated.

Would be very hard to choose one thing. This software platform has been expanding and adding features rapidly over the past few years making it the #1 home care agency choice.

They have been very behind on fixing the issue of one employee not being able to have a login account/email with multiple agencies.  They will often announce upcoming features but do not deliver at the time promised.

You won't regret switching or choosing this platform. Make use of their free webinar and online university or if you have the budget join a boot camp and network at the same time.
