Canary mail is easy to use with all kind of email accounts. It has all the bells and whistles of modern email clients. It is also very easy to setup encryption, which is a task difficult on may email clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Canary mail began to use Ai to help you write the right email, but it still not use it to help you navigating your inbox. I am sure that this will come soon.
This is really the only feature that I am lacking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Secure sending as well as tracking, AI and smart sorting all make Canary Mail a time saving app. It's the type of thing you didn't know you needed but then can do without. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Occassionally I feel the memory footprint of Canary is larger than it should be compared to other apps I have tried. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It masterfully melds simplicity on the front end with robust complexities on the back end. What sets it apart is its AI-driven ability to summarize long-winded emails, streamlining my reading process, and even crafting responses for me. Originally, I only planned to migrate one email account to Canary, but after experiencing its prowess, I am in the process of switching all eight of my accounts.
The functionality, the effortless interface, and the swift customer support are simply unparalleled. I'm hard-pressed to find any negatives about this software. If you're on the fence about trying Canary Mail, I wholeheartedly recommend taking the plunge. It's been a game-changer for me! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When it comes to Canary Mail, I genuinely struggle to pinpoint any dislikes. The software has consistently met and exceeded my expectations in every aspect. From its functionality to customer support, everything has been top-notch. It's a rare occurrence for me not to have even a minor gripe with software, but Canary Mail has achieved just that. I have nothing but praise for this email suite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been enjoying Canary a lot. It allows me to view multiple email accounts in one timeline. The search functionality is robust and includes a helpful list of recent searches. With the ability to view people's profiles, including recent emails and attachments, communication becomes more focused and personalized. The app offers multiple signatures and email templates, along with the ability to add GPG enc/dec keys. Dark mode is implemented exceptionally well, providing visual comfort. While I haven't explored the Co-pilot features yet, they appear promising. Overall, Canary Mail offers a seamless and satisfying experience that caters to a wide range of needs, and I highly recommend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Canary impresses with a host of features, my primary concern lies with the privacy aspect, particularly with functionalities like Co-pilot. The potential for personal data to leave my MacBook raises some apprehensions. While I appreciate the innovation behind such features, a clear understanding and assurance of how the data is handled would ease any lingering worries. It's a minor concern in an otherwise fantastic product, but one that I believe is worth addressing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I kept looking for emails, I tired spark and a couple of others. Apples native mail app was good but not good enough as canary, the simplicity and the AI made me love it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to not be able to add calendar invites to your calendar. The native mail app on Mac easily suggests an event which can be added to your mail quickly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Canary helps me prioritize and schedule my email better than most email apps and the fact that it offers full Mac, iOS & iPadOS support is key to my usage...every other cross-platform option I have tried has been lacking in some way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is occasionally struggling to display some gmail emails but their customer support to address this has been excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I had been using Spark but had been bored waiting every time I closed the program for it to do whatever it needed to do. I like seeing avatars attached to my emails, so Apple's program is not for me. So I tried Canary Mail and was immediately really impressed. The search works better and quicker than Spark (and only slightly slower than Apple Mail) and the interface is almost perfect once customised.
I have twelve separate accounts which, once added to my Mac, then migrated to my iPad and iPhone with no further effort from me. A huge time saver! I have invested in the Lifetime Mac and iOS bundle, which tells you I have every intention of sticking with Canary Mail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's nothing much to dislike about the app. I'd like to be able to add a button to delete an open email on iOS (I can archive, pin and snooze, but I rarely use those features) and I can delete by click in on the More three dots, but I'd prefer to be able to customise the interface to suit me.
But that is a very minor 'dislike'. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My favourite features are email encryption (this is an amazing feature), received and read notifications, and Autopilot.
Other apps do not offer similar features, and if they do, they usually cost lots of money which is not very budget efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like the tiny button to see which email address I use to receive certain emails because I use multiple accounts in the Canary app. Occasionally, it shows read email as unread. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy Setup: Just a few clicks and I was good to go.
Top-Notch Security: The encryption feature makes me feel my emails are super safe.
User-Friendly Interface: Clean, intuitive, and everything's right where you need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing stands out. It's been smooth sailing, and I'm genuinely loving the experience. Kudos to the team behind it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Buttons for spam, delete, attach, are all quick single taps. Communication with the app letting you know emails have been read and sent is innovative and appreciated. Didn't think I needed that but it's great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really can't think of any downsides, even when comparing it to other services. Maybe the only thing is that because it's not Microsoft or Google you don't have that automatic integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
