What drove me to Cahoot was ability to utilize our own warehouse as a fulfillment center on top of other Cahoot warehouse locations. We have two warehouses in IN and CO. We sell significant product on Amazon as well as our own website. When Amazon announced that they were reopening SFP, I immediately started looking for fulfillment partners that would help make sure I can satisfy the strict SFP guidelines. I quickly found that large 3PL companies have large minimum monthly order quantities (many exceeding 1,000 orders a month). Additionally, many 3PL's didn’t offer SFP capabilities or if they did, they didn’t let you utilize your existing warehouses.

Cahoots’ unique approach allows companies to utilize their own warehouse(s) and combine Cahoot approved warehouses to reach significant shipping coverage and Amazon SFP capabilities. Once setup correctly, the software quickly identifies which warehouses should ship orders based on location, price and inventory availability. What is also very cool is the potential to become part of the Cahoot network as shipping partner.

Once we got all our channels integrated, we find it very nice to ship all our shipments daily using Cahoot software. Additionally, Cahoot has several features that help make sure shipments get to the destination the fastest and economically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Finding success with Cahoots’ software is directly correlated to the upfront work you put in. Once we took the time to compile a comprehensive file of all our skus, shipping dimensions and inventory by location, we found the ease of integration was much improved.

Misleading positioning as the solution for your SFP needs. (they don't control access to the program, carrier OTD after shipment does)

-No Control Over SFP program metrics aside from tracking rate and network, which is leaves OTD metric up to carrier performance

-If your SFP Trial fails, you will eat all of the cost, including inventory losses, shipping overpayments, missed SLA (if you don't request), and many and multiple near $100 overnight shipments to get into the program

-Implementation assistance becomes reluctant consulting time later if you need help

-Negative weekly cashflow as payment speed is ahead of Amazon payout

-Higher Handling and Box fees to outsource rather than handling in house

-No Cost Savings since costs of this go back into your COGS

-High Margin and/or high volume Required to absorb extra cost that you will notice when you see your bill

-Platform fee should be reviewed

-Significant cash reserves required if working with these folks and especially if attempting SFP, which is precarious, especially considering you will need to maintain the program (better research that ahead of time)

-Increased Time and Effort needed if you are attempting SFP - someone needs to watch it constantly and Cahoot will let you know this is on you - they don't really assist other than provide the network and fulfillment software

-Immature software. Understand what you're giving up and at what cost, esp. if a lengthy contract required

-Untimely communication for mission critical business interruptions - this can lead to suspension of services and threaten critical metrics like late order rate - watch out!

-Non-refundable EFTs in the event of disputes, you may have no recourse

We are a small business that just started our distribution through Cahoot. Their top people met with us and assured us about their promise to deliver on time and with great precision. Since we started, we have had not a single error or missed shipment. What an amazing concept. They are on time and deliver all over USA wihin their defined SLA period. The Cahoot team made our transition to their product very easy. Their support during the implementation made everything go very smoothly and eased the concerns of my team. I really enjoyed the entire process of investigating Cahoot as a 3PL solution for my Amazon selling account. While I ultimately elected to not partner with Cahoot at this time, it was in part because they advised against it. That's right, their honest assessment came back with a clear explanation of why Cahoot isn't the right partner with us given our current situation. They even were able to identify who in the marketplace might provide services better suited to our unique situation than themselves.

In addition, a shoutout to both Indy Pereira and Manish Chowdhary who were friendly, patient, and simultaneously frank with me. The only disappointing aspect of Cahoot is that they haven't beaten Amazon at the 3PL game yet and completely eaten their lunch. Amazon's stranglehold on FBA is a problem for sellers and customers alike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

From order management to inventory tracking and shipping, Cahoot simplifies every aspect of the fulfillment process. Cahoot has enabled me to utilize all of the extra space in my warehouse and turn it into an additional stream of income for my business.

Cahoot's platform offers a clean & Intuitive design that allows for seamless navigation for both new and experienced users. The automated shipping label creation function eliminated 60% of our need to manually create shipping labels daily, which in turn gives 2-3 hours in saved time throughout the day.

The support ticket system allows for fairly quick responses if issues arise.

Another great feature is the email notifications for shipments that were delayed. This allows our customer service team to stay on top of issues and proactively work towards preventing any complications in our marketplace metrics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The creation of international shipping labels can be a bit wonky. Occasionally, the rates displayed versus the shipping rate that is applied after the label generation is different. More than likely an API issue, but we're almost 3 years in and the issue persists.

Editing product data/creating alias SKUs after the SKU is live on a particular sales channel(I.e Walmart), is impractical and can't be done with assistance from the customer support team. This is not an unworkable issue. However, If you utilize multiple variations of SKUS for identical products, confirm your product data is correct before implementing the system. This makes shipping about as easy as it can be. We can process nearly 10 times the number of orders as we could with ShipStation. Cahoot has made my life MUCH easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
