I love that I can post to multiple platforms all at once. I also love being able to schedule tweets, Facebook posts, and Instagram posts. This saves me a lot of time, especially when I need to post outside of office hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that I cannot directly post to Instagram - it only sends a notification to my phone. However, this is because I was unable to set up a business profile on Buffer for my Instagram. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I could schedule out all of my posts at the beginning of the week and wouldn't have to worry about it again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it was hard to see exactly how the post would look before it went live. Also, sometimes the links I found on Monday would be taken down by the time the post was supposed to go live on Friday and I wouldn't know. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about this platform is how many of my business social channels I can cover on one managing platform - including acebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Google+. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish it had better reporting and analytics per platform, especially to see trends overtime on each platform. Also some platforms are easier than others - we never were properly able to link Instagram to it. We could not get our LinkedIn synced as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We're a small nonprofit agency, and we couldn't afford some of the big-name social media managers. Buffer is free (yep, free) for up to three social media accounts and up to ten posts. It's been a lifesaver! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could schedule more than 10 posts out. It's great for Facebook and LinkedIn, but it's tough to get a good handle on Twitter posts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
how easy it is to schedule content across multiple platforms for very specific times Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the restrictions on posting Instagram "carousel" or multiple photos feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Buffer is the ideal tool to start managing your social networks. Its free plan allowed me to get to know this tool better, and since I only managed three social networks, it suited me very well. The ability to schedule up to 10 posts allows you to save a lot of time and dedicate it to other things within your job. Its web interface is very easy to handle, so I barely lost time getting to know it. Its mobile application for both iOS and Android is also easy to use. Lastly, it is worth mentioning that you can create and edit images with this tool, something that few social media management tools have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Perhaps if you have more than 3 social networks, or managing social networks is something essential and important in your company, the free plan may fall short of features, so you will need to use a paid version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing. Never got buffer to work for me. spent countless hours trying to get it to work. Immense aggravation.
DO NOT BUY! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Horrible customer support, confusing instructions. Glitchee. Never sure if it was going to post to social media sites. Good concept. Terrible execution. Do no buy unless you want high blood pressure Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Buffer enables me to draft and schedule content across platforms, tag partners, and manage my social media campaigns Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unpaid version does not allow me to schedule ONE post for multiple platforms. I currently have to copy and paste posts onto separate platform calendars. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was very easy to use, I was able to use it for social media posting and it would directly post photos onto our Business instagram profile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I didn't like that you couldn't auto publish videos using this platform. It was only able to send notifications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The speed or ease of use. I can use it on various social networks, the extension for my Google Chrome browser makes it easier to share my blog posts on WordPress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That the free version is so limiting, before I could do other functions but then they removed them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
