Buffer provides a cheap, easy, and laid-back alternative to social media post scheduling. Using Buffer, I have automated my social media posts to three different platforms and provided my employees and marketing an easy to understand approach to digital marketing. Though Buffer is free, Buffer also has its limitations providing users with up to 10 posts in advance at any given moment, no team sharing at any time, making it hard to do everything from one account. I have found that some features are hard to find, and it takes some digging to look for them. The UI is ok, but could use some improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how you can add multiple accounts, and assign people to specific pages. In a large organization it's easy to manage access. It also provides a review section so some people aren't able to post without oversight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Videos don't seem to be published correctly. Also, you can't post multiple images to an Instagram post. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

User Interface (UI) is extremely immersive in nature that makes experience flawless and engaging. The browser extension is another useful plugin that makes life of social media manager a bit easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Social media accounts get frequently de-linked that calls for repetition of efforts to connect them Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface is good. Compared to other tools I'va used in the past it takes no time to learn how to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Very expensive for what they offer. To be able to manage your social channels you need to buy : Publishing + Analytics + Engagement and they sell each of these sepratelly which makes it expensive, specially if you are running a small business like me.
- Also I don't trust the data much. My instagram data is very different in buffer compared to Instagram insight.
- The data doesn't update automatically and sometimes it takes so long till you can actually see them in Buffer. Unfortunatelly there is no way to reload it if you need realtime report. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

How easy it is to post to all social media outlets at one time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It seems to disconnect from some of the social media outlets a bit more than other posting platforms I have used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the publishing capabilities to allow for posting on multiple social media platforms. Anyone can jump in and get started without having a lot of technical know-how. The calendar feature is great; easily see your queue so you always have a full content calendar. There's also a free plan and free trial to try out advanced features. There's not a lot to dislike about Buffer if you're just using it to publish content. If you want more advanced features such as analytics, you'll need a paid account. But for what it is, Buffer is a simple publishing tool that would work for independent publishers and small businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The dashboard looks great. There are quite many features in the free plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some results might not be 100% accurate, sometimes maybe it takes time to update the metrics for a particular social profile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am absolutely in love with the calendar view, seeing all my scheduled posts from all my campaigns in 1 neat place.
And now with the enhanced Analysing view, being able to discern which posts perform well & understand my social metrics in 1 easy to digest view makes me job loads easier & more enoyable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Now with the multi-campaign, multi-channel month calendar view & Analysis & Engagement tools, I have nothing to complain about. These were my biggest pain points earlier this year, but Buffer has listened to their customers & given us this much-requested functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The procedure for adding new content is simple, yet it includes several useful added features. When you type a link to share, for example, Buffer will offer you a preview of how it will appear on each of your selected social networks. If you want to include more hashtags to broaden the visibility of your material on Instagram, you can include a first comment with your post. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Buffer Analyze may be lacking in depth for individuals who seek more information on their social media advertising performance. Furthermore, while Analyze is a useful reporting tool for Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, it lacks the Pinterest and LinkedIn capability of its competitors. Buffer is easy to use, really great for Instagram and has a lot of great ways to integrate (Canva). I've saved a lot of time by being able to use Buffer and not have to go to each site to schedule posts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes, Buffer can be glitchy and will have issues loading photos, will log you out/disconnect your accounts, etc. Also, it would be great if there was an added element to be able to copy old posts to reshare them easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
