The AI software has made invoice review against our outside counsel policy much more effective and less burdensome. In addition, the overall spend analytics are extremely helpful and something we are looking to further leverage as we consider budget planning for deals and the general corporate spend for next year. Invoices are centralised, platform is efficient and workable, matter history and invoices are easily accessible. It's so time efficient and the automated invoice reviews really work. Brightflag is a fantastic one-stop-shop for monitoring and reviewing our legal spend. The platform itself is intuitive and easy to use, and no stone has been left unturned when it comes to providing a brilliant user experience. Brightflag did not work with us as a vendor providing a SaaS product but worked as a real partner who care for our business as their business. They saw every change requested by us as a potential enhancement which will benefit every clients they have. Their intention to grow with the client will help them grow their business. Location and timezone difference. However to overcome this challenge, Brightflag employed a permanent onshore Customer Success Manager and also temporarily deputed Implementation Manager and Product Configuration Manager during the Implementation phase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ability to monitor your legal spend via detailed reports, flags raised when potential issues with invoices are identified, a central repository of all of your business' legal matters, with the ability to quickly download all associated invoices (which the business often wants to see!). The fact you can set a budget and the platform lets you track if you have adjusted the budget. Brightflag also means you can track 'lost' invoices when followed up by external counsel for late payment of invoices that you never in fact received! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Currently, our business has not linked our accounts payable to Brightflag as we use a couple of different systems. While this is not Brightflag's fault, this does involve an extra 'step' in our payments' process. Having said that, the approved invoices are emailed direct to the 'actioner', so time is saved in that aspect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
