Top Rated BlogVault Alternatives

BlogVault has deep expertise in backup management and migration of WordPress sites. I am particularly a fan of their Migrate Guru plugin that helps migrating a WordPrehss site to another hosting with just one magic key. Otherwise, one needs to enter FTP credentials which as a quite a few variables including FTP username, port no., FTP password. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Once in a while, migration operation might not be successful. However, instead of producing a faulty copy, it is better if the migration fails. If the migration is successful, I see everything works as expected. One operation that is still needed is to use a plugin ike Better Search Replace as after migration, some pages might still be having the domain of the source site. Most confusing and devastating thing can be in understanding which is source site and which is destination site. Wrong choice will lead to the destination site getting migrated to the source site! And you lose the copy of the source site (unless you have a backup). So I would suggest BlogVault team to include a warning statement such as "You are now migrating appleexample.com to orangexample.com and existing content of appleexample.com wil be copied to orangexample.com. Are you sure this is what you intended?" This to be followed by Yes / No button. I myself once lost the entire website content because of the confusion. But thanks there was a backup that has to be retrieved by requesting a support from the hosting service provider. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While working with myriad number of plugins, it is often that a WordPress site can crash. Easiest way to troubleshoot as per my experience is to restore the last version, which is always available with BlogVault. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Super easy to set up - just install and connect. Love how simple the interface is! The backup system is fantastic and doesn't slow down my sites at all. Restoration works well even if it takes a minute. Really dig the security alerts - helps me stay on top of plugin updates that need attention right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The main feature for this kinds of services, is the backup. The backup system is great, don't affect to the websites performance.
I tried the restoration and works ok, is little slow, but it's fine.
The notification of the plugins with security issues is great, so I can update that plugins with more priority. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Is little confuse to see that this company have a lot of domains, that is exaclty the same control panel: blogvault, malcare, airlift.
Airlift optimization is in beta for years, and never worked ok for me
I got some false positives with malware scanner, and when their service show has "hacked website" in their panel, happens an strange behavior for me, where my varnish cache, stopped working. If I disable the blogvault firewall, only two minutes after, my varnish cache works again.
I contacted with their support, for this issues, but they say me that this issue with my cache is not caused for their software. Maybe is a conflict with my woocommerce settings or any plugin, I don't know, but only happens with the commented scenario.
When I request to delete stagings, seems that are removed from the panel, but still all the files and database until the expire data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is vital to my business. It has a robust remote backup and update ecosystem that allows me to schedule updates and perform on-demand backups as well as migrations and restores. Service is fast and supportive. It is by far the easiest way to set up WP backups and restores without bloating your WP installation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some areas of scheduling could be more granular, such as scheduling updates for plugin/theme updates which are 75% adopted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy interface, features are very responsive, has a wide array of options from Uptime, Activity logs, and Backups and a plethora of other great features. I like that you're automatically directed to the dash without any notifications or new offer alerts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing much, really. The reports could do with a scheduled option but all in all it's not a big issue. There's a small issue with turning off automatic updates as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
