Along with customization comes a greater effort required to build the specific design and strategy. What BTC has in versatility, they sometimes lack in a consultative approach. I would appreciate greater industry insight and guidance from them to accompany their versatility. As it stands, I feel that I offer the bulk of the direction. Many companies pride themselves on following their customer's directions and not swaying opinion; however, in my case, I would prefer a partner in consultation. The team behind tin can are great, easy to deal with and very helpful. They seem very keen to ensure you exceed and have what you need. They are also open to constructive criticism and feedback for improvements. The initial assistance around using the system is excellent and open to all requests. Ideally, the system could use some adjustments for best practices operating within service and repair networks such as the caravan and automotive industry. It is clear that it has not been created or perfectly adapted to accommodate for hands-on roles instead of roles that are primarily office/computer-based. The adjustments required to improve the functionality for businesses with dealership and repair agent networks appear to be minor and achievable, giving Bigtincan the potential to move into other industries with similar requirements to ours.
The other feedback is for assistance with best practices around presenting online training. Although great, the assistance is primarily around how to use the system but not necessarily how to deliver content and engage with the audience. As this is a new space for us, this is where we needed the most assistance and, at first, had to seek it elsewhere. I believe there would be merit in having someone with experience in developing, presenting and providing online material for learning to assist your partners with providing the best experience for their users. If a company's content is not engaging enough, this could be the main reason why the LMS project for a company may fail, leading to the company pulling away from Bigtincan. I love how easy friendly it is for both the end user and the admins. As an end user, you are able to easily search for all the resources you need and be able to share with fellow peers. As the admin, it's very simple in a way that is not difficult to manage the structure of the content, channels, and users. Our company uses an LMS system to track compliance training for stores employees as well as corporate employees and I wish the Hub and LMS could be linked together. We love to use Zunos for training stores, and it would be great if, after they complete the training, it will automatically link to their transcript on their LMS account. The biggest asset of BTC is the customer support. Our business uses ancillary applications to sync through BTC, and we had some challenges with the set up. The customer support from BTC was amazing. Our representative was kind, responsive, and thorough. If she didn't have the answer, she found the suitable helpers and got the answer. This personalized support made the interaction amazing.
