What do you like best about BenchmarkONE?

I've tried to use CRM services in the past, with limited success. I've been at a new job for a few months now, and we utilize Hatchbuck. With just a few tips from my colleague and I was off and going. Since then, I've been able to sort out quite a few tools that work with it, on my own, as well. The controls are intuitive and easy to use. There are many additional tasks you can take advantage of within your email templates that allow you to expedite the process of tracking email distribution, and strategically reach out to prospects. What do you dislike about BenchmarkONE?

Some of the feedback the software provides can be a little unclear. Early on, when it would give me messages about certain contacts not uploading, I could not sort out what the issue was. Since then I've spoken with customer service a few times, always with positive results in the end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I recommend that when you are shopping for a CRM software, that you look at all the options and compare. Hatchbuck is a full featured software, and provides all the services I need to get the job done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is BenchmarkONE solving and how is that benefiting you?

Follow up with prospects after you have lost their initial attention can be difficult. Hatchbuck allows you to stay at the forefront of their mind, and with the unsubscribe function at the prospect's ready, they can decide when they will stop receiving such outreach. As a user you don't have to manually remove them, the software takes care of it for you, so you don't continue to bother folks that are not interested. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about BenchmarkONE?

Email marketing capabilities are great, and undoubtedly one of the highlights of Hatchbuck, it offers numerous customization options for editing your marketing campaign emails, allowing your company to create the email exactly as you wish. But if you don't understand code and editing, Hatchbuck offers a plethora of ready-made templates, just choose which one to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Slow servers, this was the main problem I faced with using Hatchbuck, sometimes when trying to do some updating or altering some work we had problem with slow servers which made the task a bit frustrating and certainly more laborious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hatchbuck was implemented in our company to improve our marketing campaigns and to help prospect new customers, which he accomplished very well. Hatchbuck helps us keep in touch with our regular customers and also prospect new customers thanks With the marketing tools offered, it is much easier to sell a product to an already interested customer, and Hatchbuck does it very well, making it easy for our sales teams to work, and the salesperson just has to keep the customer interested and get them to do it. negotiating with our company and thus finalizing the work that was started by Hatchbuck. What do you like best about BenchmarkONE?

I love the ease of use and the reminders. It definitely keeps me notified with new tasks/reminders so I don't miss a sale! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are not many downsides, but I would like to see some further filtering functions. We work in an environment where we are calling nation-wide and it is very troublesome to look at time zones individually before each call. What do you like best about BenchmarkONE?

Much more efficient than the previous platform we were using. I like the contact score and filtering options that are available to segment our contacts. It allows us to create personalized communication. I am a big fan of the user interface and the way that the platform operates. It is really easy to use and onboard additional team members. The support and check ins that we have received from the team at Hatchbuck has also been really great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BenchmarkONE?

When the platform is down and we are unable to access our contacts or use the system. Additionally, there are often times we import data and match it to a field but the data doesn't come into the platform. I would also like to develop better, more customized, automated reports. This would be awesome to have something that was sent to my email every Thursday or Friday to report to managers. It might just be that I haven't looked into the reporting feature enough. Connecting the dots on our sales outreach to develop stronger, more personalized partnerships. The platform has streamlined the outreach process for all of our University partners. What do you like best about BenchmarkONE?

What do you dislike about BenchmarkONE?

The main question should be what don't I dislike? For a "CRM & Email Marketing" tool, Hatchbuck doesn't even come close to having the basics.

* Menus and UIs are sometimes incredibly hard to see because of how light EVERYTHING is (even for those with 20/20 vision)

* Doesn't have reoccurring tasks for sales reps (our CRM from 1998 had that!)

* Doesn't let you select a primary contact without creating a custom field yourself (again, 1998 CRM had that)

* Can't even add a contact on the mobile site - and having a mobile site for our outsides sales reps was the #1 REASON we went with Hatchbuck

* Reports are incredibly lackluster; some let you actually click into the report to see what contacts are on a campaign, who clicked, etc, but not all. It's a complete guessing game on what reports are ACTUALLY useful

* Can't sort by user tasks from the contact or company screen

* Very very VERY contact and B2C focused. We can do purchases, but can't customize anything in that space. Absolute dealbreaker for us as a B2B service company

* Incredibly buggy email and form builders. Just earlier my form refused to delete a field I tried to get rid of. Then it refused to edit a field I wanted to keep and deleted it!

* Forms aren't mobile-friendly, especially if embedding into a webpage

* Doesn't let you handle email preferences without designing it yourself or using a different problem.

The last one with email preferences was the last straw for me. You can't handle opt-downs, so if anything hits Unsubscribe it blanket unsubs them from EVERYTHING and you can never email them again. No option if they want to unsubscribe from all emails or only select lists. Every email marketing platform I've ever used has had that functionality for at LEAST the past 10 years.

And if you want to create a form or use a system that CAN handle opt-downs and proper best practice opt-ins/opt-outs? Sucks, can't change the unsubscribe link in any of your Hatchbuck emails.

The CRM side is incredibly underpowered and almost useless to our team, and the email marketing is "meh" at best. I don't know how Hatchbuck could ever consider more advanced drip-emails (which doesn't exist for them by the way - if you want a time delay between campaigns starting, for example, you have to manually calculate when you want the email to send. No inserting "wait 3 days." No real paths to say "if this then this" like drip emails are supposed to work.

I don't ever see Hatchbuck thinking about adding features like dynamic content and advanced segmentation - which are available in similar tools for the same or slightly LESS of a price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is BenchmarkONE solving and how is that benefiting you?

Problem we attempted to solve was to give our sales team a better, more modern CRM and email marketing system that they can take on the road with them and not have to login to a clunky old license-based system.

Hatchbuck somehow gave us a downgrade from our old system from 1998. Absolutely no benefits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hatchbuck has the features that CSA needs to track and manage our sales leads. We like the ability to score and then focus on the leads with the most potential. We get leads from multiple sources and Hatchbuck supports our sales process very effectively. The email marketing function is very robust. It has all the fundamentals of a CRM without all the extra fluff that I don't need or want as a marketer. Since I take it upon myself to continue my eduction for the company, all I need my CRM to be is reliable and intuitive - which is exactly what this system does for our team.
